    Sound My Vision: Real-time Video Analysis On Mobile Platforms For Controlling Multimedia Performances

    This paper presents Sound My Vision, an Android application for controlling music expression and multimedia projects. Unlike other similar applications which collect data only from sensors and input devices, Sound My Vision also analyses input video in real time and extracts low-level video features. Such a versatile controller can be used in various scenarios from entertainment and experimentation to live music performances, installations and multimedia projects. The application can replace complex setups that are usually required for capturing and analyzing a video signal in live performances. Additionally, mobility of smartphones allows perspective changes in sense that the performer can become either an object or a subject involved in controlling the expression. The most important contributions of this paper are selection of general and low-level video feature and the technical solution for seamless real-time video extraction on the Android platform

    Nakon uvodnog dijela koji obja┼ínjava problematiku radu, slijedi poglavlje u kojemu se obra─Ĺuju osnovni pojmovi o protokolima HTTP i CoAP, njihove karakteristike, prednosti i nedostaci te usporedba. Obja┼ínjava se interoperabilnost dvaju protokola kroz karakteristike ograni─Źenih mre┼ża te primjenjivost u istima. Prikazan je i opisan model posredni─Źkog poslu┼żitelja Petrijevom mre┼żom. Analizi modela prilo┼żene su skica mre┼że te najva┼żnije karakteristike. Obja┼ínjene su klju─Źne zna─Źajke kojih se treba pridr┼żavati tijekom razvoja posredni─Źkog poslu┼żitelja, primjerice implementacija translacijske funkcije. Opisana je razvijena usluga, specificirana njena arhitektura te klju─Źni dijelovi (posredni─Źki poslu┼żitelj, klijentska Android aplikacija te mre┼żni prilaz Cocoon). Svi klju─Źni dijelovi sustava detaljno su opisani u zasebnim poglavljima. Na samom kraju rada slijedi zaklju─Źak.After an introductory section that explains the theme of the work, follows a chapter which studies the basic concepts of protocols HTTP and COAP, their characteristics, advantages, disadvantages and comparison. Furthermore, it explains in detail the interoperability of the two protocols and the characteristics of the constrained networks and devices. There is a description of a proxy server model via Petri net. The analysis of the model is accompanied by a network diagram and its most important characteristics. Implementation characteristics of proxy server are also explained, and emphasis is on the key features that should be developed in order for the server to work properly, such as the implementation of mapping function between two protocols. It is explained how implemented service works and what is it for. Its system architecture is specified and all of its key components (proxy server, client Android application and Cocoon network gateway). All key parts of the service are described in details in separate chapters. At the end there is a conclusion
