An Analysis Of English-Indonesian Translation In Sydney Sheldon’s A Stranger In The Mirror Translated Into Sosok Asing Dalam Cermin By Hidayat Saleh
This research belongs to a descriptive qualitative study, which describes the phenomena of the translation of adverb in the novel A Stranger in the Mirror by Sydney Sheldon into Indonesian version Sosok Asing dalam Cermin by Hidayat
Saleh. The objectives of the study are to describe the types of translation used to translate the sentence containing adverb with suffix-ly in the novel, to identify the variations of translation shift of adverb in the novel, and to describe the appropriateness of the translation of adverb in the novel. The data of this research are all sentences containing adverb with suffix-ly found in the last twenty chapters in the novel A Stranger in the Mirror. The method of analysis in this study is comparison between source language (SL) and target language (TL). The result of the study shows that all collected data are classified into three types of translations, they are 7 or 6,0 % data are translated into word-forword translation, and 110 or 94,0 % data are classified into literal translation. The
variation of translation shifts of adverb in the novel A Stranger in the Mirror can be translated into Indonesian adverb, adjective phrase, Adjective, Verb, Verb Phrase, and untranslated. The study shows that there are 82 or 70,1 % data are translated into adverb, 28 or 23,9 % data are translated into Adjective, 3 or 2,6 % are translated into adjective phrase, 1 or 0,9 % datum is translated into Verb, 1 or 0,9 % datum are translated into Verb Phrase, and 2 or 1,7 % data are not translated in the TL. The English-Indonesian translation of adverb in the novel A Stranger in
the Mirror is appropriate. It can be known from 117 data, they are 102 or 87,2 % are translated appropriately in accordance with the context, and 15 data or 12,8 %
data which are translated inappropriately in accordance with the context. The inappropriate translation of the adverb in the novel A Stranger in the Mirror caused by the important thing in the sentence is not translated. It means that there is a part of sentence is omitted. Considering the result of the analysis, the researcher guides that the level of appropriateness of the sentence containing
adverb with suffix-ly in the novel A Stranger in the Mirror, i.e. Sosok Asing dalam Cermin is very good. The researcher hope that this research will be useful
in adding the about literary translation
MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERHITUNG AWAL MELALUI PERMAINAN KUBUS BERGAMBAR PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B3 DI TK PLUS TUNAS BANGSA SOOKO MOJOKERTO
 Kemampuan berhitung merupakan salah satu tujuan pendidikan Nasional. Peningkatan kemampuan berhitung dapat dilihat dari setiap anak manusia. Pendidikan kemampuan berhitung sudah menjadi kebutuhan bagi anak sekolah. Peningkatan kemampuan berhitung pada jenjang anak usia dini dengan pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan serta diberikan berulang-ulang melalui permainan yang menarik dan menyenangkan dengan keteladanan, salah satunya melalui permainan kubus bergambar. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berhitung awal melalui permainan kubus bergambar pada anak kelompok B3 di TK Plus Tunas Bangsa Sooko Mojokerto dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berhitung awal melalui permainan kubus bergambar pada anak kelompok B3 di TK Plus Tunas Bangsa Sooko Mojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) alat penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas anak, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan lembar observasi peningkatan kemampuan berhitung awal. Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 14 anak dengan jumlah laki-laki 7 anak dan perempuan 7 anak. Tehnik analisa data yang digunakan adalah statistik diskriptif. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus satu diperoleh hasil observasi aktivitas guru sebesar 65%, hasil observasi aktivitas anak sebesar 73,21% dan hasil observasi peningkatan kemampuan berhitung awal sebesar 42,85% sehingga hasil yang diperoleh belum sesuai harapan karena target yang ditentukan yaitu sebesar 76%. Oleh karena itu dilanjutkan dengan penelitian pada siklus kedua. Hasil dari analisis siklus kedua diperoleh observasi aktivitas guru sebesar 85%, observasi aktivitas anak sebesar 75,48% dan observasi peningkatan kemampuan berhitung awal sebesar 85,71%. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berhitung awal dapat ditingkatkan melalui permainan kubus bergambar.Kata Kunci : Peningkatan Berhitung Awal dan Permainan Kubus BergambarAbstractCounting ability is one of National Educational goals. The increase of counting ability can be seen from every children. This capability has become a necessity for children. The effort of increasing counting ability in the level of early childhood is taught through exciting and fun learning, and given repeatedly by examples. One way to improve counting ability is by giving illustrated cube game. There are two objectives in this research, those are to identify and to describe the increase of basic counting ability through illustrated cube game on children in group B3 TK Plus Tunas Bangsa, Sooko Mojokerto. This research used Classroom Action Research. The instruments used in this research were observation sheet of children’s activities, observation sheet of teachers’ activities, and observation sheet of the increase of basic counting ability. The subjects in this study were 14 children which consisted of 7 boys and 7 girls. Data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive statistics. The research was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The analysis result showed that in the first cycle, the percentage of observation of teachers’ activities was 65%, the observation of the children's activities was 73.21% and the observation of the increase ofbasic counting was 42.85%. So that, the results obtained did not meet the standard which was 76%. Therefore researcher continued to the second cycle. From the analysis of the second cycle, the percentage of observation of teachers’ activities was 85%, the observation of the children's activity was 75.48% and the observation of the increase of basic counting was 85.71%. From these results it can be concluded that the increase of basic counting can be improved through illustrated cube game.Keywords: The increase of basing counting and Illustrated Cube Game
EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN ALAT BANTU REAKSI GERAKAN TANGAN BAGI KAUM DISABILITAS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat penguasaan reaksi gerakan tangan bagi kaum disabilitas setelah menggunakan alat bantu dan untuk mengetahui hasil uji efektivitas alat bantu reaksi gerakan tangan pada mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani adaptif dengan kompetensi dasar melakukan gerak dasar menekan dalam permainan sederhana bagi kaum disabilitas di SLB BC Fadhilah Cipacing.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan gabungan triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi teori. Terdapat beberapa tahapan dalam penerapan alat bantu reaksi gerakan tangan ini, yaitu: penentuan kompetensi dasar, pembuatan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), pengambilan data pengujian alat, dan menganalisa perkembangan kemampuan motorik siswa disabilitas setelah menggunakan alat bantu.
Efektivitas penggunaan alat bantu reaksi ini berasal dari hasil pengujian penguasaan reaksi siswa disabilitas terhadap penggunaan alat. Peningkatan hasil penguasaan reaksi siswa dari pengujian awal hingga pengujian akhir reaksi non lokomotor siswa dalam permainan sederhana dengan nilai N-Gain secara keseluruhan sebesar 68,4% dengan kategori sedang dan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa sebesar 8,8 dengan keterangan baik.

This research was performed to determine the level ofhand reactions gestures mastery for the disabilities after using the reaction tools and to determine the effectiveness of the test results hand movement reactions tool on the subjects of adaptive physical education with basic competence perform basic motion presses in simple games for the disabilities in SLB BC Fadhilah Cipacing.
This research is a qualitative research using combined triangulation, there are data sources triangulation and theory triangulation. There are several steps in the implementation of hand movement reaction tools, namely: the determination of basic competence, learning implementation plan (RPP), data collections fromtested tool, and analyzed the motoric development of disability students after using tool.
The effectiveness of the reaction toolcame from the results of tested students’ mastery of reaction disabilities after using the tool. The results from initial tested students' reactions to the final tested of non locomotor reactions of students in simple games with N-Gain value overall amounted to 68.4% in the moderate category and the average value obtained by students at 8.8 with a good description.

THE ROLE OF CULTURAL HEGEMONY IN MARIPOSA IN MAINTAINING GENDER COLOR ASSUMPTION
The development of technology has a big contribution to creating cultural phenomena of global citizens. A movie as part of cultural products in this matter is not only considered as a cultural phenomenon, but it also can takes a significant role in shaping the culture itself. Specifically, this paper was conducted to discover denotative and connotative meaning of pink and blue color of school uniform in Mariposa and its relation of practicing hegemony in the context of gender color. In analyzing the meaning of color use in school uniform and the relation between pink and blue uniform with hegemony, the author uses Barthes semiotic and Gramscis hegemony as the theory. The data were collected from the images of movie scenes in Mariposa when the characters wear their school uniform. After analyzing the data, this study found that (1) The use of pink and blue color as a color of school uniform in Mariposa represents masculinity and feminity, (2) Mariposa movie is considered as a medium in operating hegemony, and (3) The hegemony is represented through pink and blue color of the movie characters uniform
Efektifitas Metode YAHQI dalam Pembelajaran Tahfidz Al-Qur’an dan Hadits di TK dan SD Islamic Homeschooling Ngasem Bojonegoro
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penerapan metode YAHQI dalam pembelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an dan hadis di TK dan SD Islamic Homeschooling Ngasem Bojonegoro, kedua mengetahui efektivitas metode YAHQI dalam pembelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an dan hadis. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi penerapan metode YAHQI dalam pembelajaran tahfidz, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis datanya melalui reduksi data, display data atau penyajian data kemudian conclution atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian bahwa penerapan metode YAHQI dalam pembelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an dan hadis di TK dan SD Islamic Homeschooling dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan; pembukaan diawali dengan pengkondisian kelas, pemberian ice breeking atau yel-yel untuk menjadikan siswa semangat dan siap belajar, salam pembuka dan doa belajar, kedua kegiatan inti yakni murojaah hafalan dan penyampaian materi jilid dan tambahan hafalan, ketiga penutup diisi dengan pemberian motivasi pada siswa, dan doa penutup belajar. Hasil penelitian berikutnya yakni metode YAHQI sangat efektif untuk pembelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an dan hadis terkhusus di TK maupun SD Islamic Homeschooling karena mencapai target dan tujuan yang diharapkan, sesuai pemenuhan indicator efektivitas yakni mengorganisasikan materi dengan baik, komunikasi yang aktif dari ustadz/ustadzah Yahqi dengan siswa TK-SD Islamic Homeschooling, manajemen waktu yang tepat, mutu pengajaran yang bagus yakni bekal wawasan keilmuan dan pengalaman asatidz Yahqi yang luas dari hasil perkuliahan PGTPQ satu tahun dan englis curse di kampong English Pare Kediri mempengaruhi mutu pengajaran, dan hasil belajar siswa serta prestasi hafalan siswa yang bagus hingga meraih kejuaraan MHQ baik tingkat kabupaten maupun provinsi
Eksplorasi Kemampuan Berpikir Aljabar Siswa Sekolah Dasar dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Manipulasi Numerik
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi kemampuan berpikir aljabar siswa sekolah dasar dalam menyelesaikan persoalan matematika. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 129 siswa kelas lima Sekolah Dasar dari dua sekolah swasta di Surakarta, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Dalam makalah ini, peneliti membatasi analisis kemampuan berpikir aljabar siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa 15 soal tes berpikir aljabar yang meliputi soal komponen manipulasi numerik, pemodelan, dan fungsi. Makalah ini menyajikan analisis pada empat soal komponen manipulasi numerik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir aljabar rendah menggunakan strategi penjumlahan, pengurangan dan perkalian bersusun dalam menyelesaikan soal komponen manipulasi numerik meskipun langkah yang digunakan kurang tepat. Selain itu, siswa juga mengalami kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal. Dengan kata lain, kemampuan siswa merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir aljabar.This study aims to explore the algebraic thinking skills of elementary school students in solving math problems. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study were 129 fifth grade elementary school students from two private schools in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. In this paper, the researcher limits the analysis of the algebraic thinking skills of students who have low abilities. The data collection technique used an instrument in the form of 15 algebraic thinking test questions which included components of numerical manipulation, modeling, and functions. This paper presents an analysis of the four numerical manipulation component problems. The results showed that students with low algebraic thinking skills used stacked addition, subtraction and multiplication strategies in solving numerical manipulation component problems even though the steps used were not precise. In addition, students also experience errors in solving problems. In other words, the ability of students is one of the factors that affect the ability to think algebra
