    Indonesia adalah negara dengan iklim tropis yang memiliki dua musim yaitu musim hujan dan musim kemarau dimana kedua musim ini sulit untuk diprediksi kedatangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat alat pendeteksi hujan sederhana berbasis raindrop sensor menggunakan buzzer dan LED. Rancang bangun prototipe detektor hujan sederhana ini dilengkapi dengan raindrop sensor sebagai sensor hujan serta buzzer dan LED sebagai outputnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development. Adapun tahap pengembangan dalam penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, produksi, dan evaluasi. Alat detektor hujan ini terdiri atas komponen-komponen elektronika, yaitu raindrop sensor, buzzer, LED, transistor dan sakelar. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pengujian alat secara keseluruhan untuk melihat apakah alat berfungsi sesuai dengan tujuan. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan membuktikan alat yang dibuat dapat berfungsi dengan baik ketika ada air hujan terbukti ketika sensor hujan mendeteksi adanya hujan maka buzzer akan mengeluarkan suara dan LED-nya menyala. Dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan intensitas bunyi pada buzzer yang berbeda-beda tergantung dari tingkat kelembaban PCB-nya, hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin basah PCB nya, semakin besar pula intensitas bunyi pada buzzer-nya

    Need Analysis to Develop a Physics Module Integrated Natural Disaster and Mitigation

    Physics is the study of phenomena, symptoms and interactions of objects that occur in nature. One of the phenomena that often occurs is natural disasters. Natural disasters are a series of events that occur naturally or non-naturally that can harm humans and anything in nature. Natural disasters can be prevented or reduced by doing mitigation. Mitigation is an effort carried out before a natural disaster occurs which aims to reduce or prevent the occurrence of natural disasters. In learning physics, natural disasters can be analyzed in physics concepts so that a teacher can make natural disaster phenomena a phenomenon that can increase students' knowledge in studying physics. Therefore, teachers need teaching materials that are integrated with natural disasters and mitigation to support learning to convey and analyze the role of physics in natural disaster phenomena and mitigation. The purpose of this study was to describe the teacher's need for the development of an integrated physics module for natural disasters and mitigation as teaching materials in physics learning. This research is qualitative research with the subject of research is physics teacher from several schools in Riau. Data collection was carried out using a non-test method by providing a questionnaire in the form of a google form.     VALIDITAS DAN PRAKTIKALITAS LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK (LKPD) BERBASIS METODE EKSPERIMEN PADA MATERI GETARAN HARMONIK SEDERHANA

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan praktikalitas LKPD berbasis metode eksperimen pada materi getaran harmonik sederhana dalam pembelajaran fisika di SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengembangan bahan ajar seperti LKPD dengan pendekatan metode eksperimen agar memenuhi standar validitas dan praktikalitas, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran fisika di SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengadopsi model pengembangan ADDIE yang dikemukakan oleh Branch, dengan tiga tahap yaitu Analysis, Design, and Development. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif yaitu dengan cara menghitung skor validitas setiap instrument perangkat LKPD kemudian dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Validasi dilakukan oleh 3 dosen ahli jurusan PMIPA sebagai validator, hasil validasi pada LKPD eksperimen bandul mendapatkan nilai sebesar 3,85, LKPD eksperimen pegas mendapatkan nilai 3,92 dan LKPD gaya pemulih mendapatkan nilai 3,89 dengan kategori valid. Sementara praktikalitas tersebut dilakukan oleh 3 guru dan 10 siswa di SMAN 4 Pekanbaru dengan hasil praktikalitas menurut guru pada setiap LKPD mendapatkan nilai masing-masing sebesar 3,87 dan hasil praktikalitas menurut siswa pada LKPD eksperimen bandul mendapatkan nilai sebesar 3,66, LKPD eksperimen pegas mendapatkan nilai 3,72, dan LKPD gaya pemulih mendapatkan nilai 3,67 dengan kategori praktis. Sehingga dapat dinyatakann bahwa LKPD berbasis metode eksperimen pada materi getaran harmonik sederhana valid dan praktis.This research aims to determine the validity and practicality of LKPD based on experimental methods on simple harmonic vibration material in physics learning at SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The problem in this research is how to develop teaching materials such as LKPD using an experimental method approach so that they meet validity and practicality standards, so that they are suitable for use as teaching materials in physics learning at SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The development model in this research adopts the ADDIE development model proposed by Branch, with three stages, namely Analysis, Design, and Development. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, namely by calculating the validity score of each LKPD instrument and then drawing conclusions. Validation was carried out by 3 expert lecturers in the PMIPA department as validators. The validation results for the pendulum experimental LKPD got a score of 3.85, the spring experimental LKPD got a score of 3.92 and the restoring force LKPD got a score of 3.89 in the valid category. Meanwhile, the practicality was carried out by 3 teachers and 10 students at SMAN 4 Pekanbaru with the practicality results according to the teachers on each LKPD getting a score of 3.87 each and the practicality results according to students on the pendulum experiment LKPD getting a score of 3.66, the spring experimental LKPD got a score of 3.72, and the restoring force LKPD got a score of 3.67 in the practical category.     MANAJEMEN STRATEGI BADAN NARKOTIKA NASIONAL PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOBA DI JAWA TIMUR

    East Java Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a high rate of drug abuse cases based on the results of the 3rd Quarter 2022 Infographic. Efforts to prevent drug abuse cases in East Java need to be carried out to minimize the impact that occurs. These prevention efforts can be carried out by BNN East Java Province through appropriate strategic management so as to reduce the wrong use of drugs. The purpose of this study is to conduct further analysis regarding strategic management carried out by BNN East Java Province. This research is included in the type of descriptive qualitative research with data collection methods through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. The focus of this study uses the theory of J. David Hunger and Thomas L. Wheelen which includes environmental observation, strategy formulation, strategy implementation and evaluation and control using snowball sampling. While the data analysis technique is carried out through four stages, namely collecting related data, reducing the data obtained, presenting the data after being processed and drawing conclusions to find out the expected results. The results showed that the BNN of East Java Province conducted environmental observations by identifying internal factors and external factors of the organization, the formulation of strategies was carried out to determine the vision, mission, strategy and policies of the organization, then at the strategy implementation stage the BNN of East Java Province carried out four programs which included advocacy programs , alternative empowerment programs, community empowerment programs as well as information and education management programs that are well implemented and have a positive impact on efforts to prevent drug abuse by conducting an evaluation at the last stage to find out the various obstacles and obstacles faced. Upaya pencegahan kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba di Jawa Timur perlu dilakukan guna meminimalisir dampak yang terjadi. Upaya pencegahan tersebut dapat dilakukan oleh BNN Provinsi Jawa Timur melalui manajemen strategi yang tepat sehingga mampu mengurangi penggunaan yang salah dari narkoba. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk untuk melakukan analisis lebih lanjut mengenai manajemen strategi yang dilakukan oleh BNN Provinsi Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengambilan data melalui wawacara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kajian literatur. Fokus penelitian ini menggunakan teori J. David Hunger dan Thomas L. Wheelen yang meliputi pengamatan lingkungan, perumusan strategi, implementasi startegi dan evaluasi serta pengendalian dengan menggunakan snowball sampling. Sedangkan Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui empat tahap yaitu mengumpulkan data terkait, reduksi data yang diperoleh, penyajian data setelah diolah dan penarikan kesimpulan guna mengetahui hasil yang diharapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa BNN Provinsi Jawa Timur melakukan pengamatan lingkungan dengan mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan faktor eksternal organisasi, perumusan strategi dilakukan menentukan visi, misi, strategi dan kebijakan organisasi, kemudian pada tahap implementasi strategi BNN Provinsi Jawa Timur melaksanakan empat program yang meliputi program penyelenggaraan advokasi, program pemberdayaan alternatif, program pemberdayaan masyarakat serta program pengelolaan informasi dan edukasi yang dilaksanakan dengan baik serta memberikan dampak positif dalam upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba dengan melakukan evaluasi pada tahap terakhir guna mengetahui berbagai hambatan dan kendala yang dihadapi.     Effectiveness of Arduino Microcontroller-Based Newton's Law Application Experiment to Improve Science Process Skills

    : The problem in this research is that the level of scientific processing skills in particle motion dynamics is still low. An attempt to overcome this problem is to conduct a practical experiment using the Newton's Law Application Experiment Tool based on an Arduino microcontroller. This study used a quasi-experimental type of study with a non-equivalent post-test control group design. The study sample included Grade XI SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru students in the 2023/2024 school year with a total of 72 students. Data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis based on students' Scientific Process Skills (SPS) criteria scale. The results of this study show that the application of experimental tools applying Newton's law on the Arduino microcontroller platform has the ability to improve scientific pr The average score of students in the control class was in the low category with a score below 54.     Development of Learning Media to Improve Students' Higher Order Thinking Skills in Circular Motion Material

    The purpose of this research is to develop learning media that can improve students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on the topic "circular motion". Therefore, its design is a research and development (R&D) study with 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Experts were involved to validate the products that had been developed, which are teaching props and Student Worksheets (SWS), through a validation questionnaire. The collected data were then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed that the total average of all aspects of the assessment was 81.8 which was included in the "very good" category. Based on this result, it can be concluded that the products developed, namely learning media for "circular motion" material, is suitable for use in the learning process to improve students' higher order thinking skill

    Analysis on Geometry Mathematics Textbooks for Grade 5 of Elementary Schools in Malaysia, China, and Indonesia

    Abstract: Analysis on Geometry Mathematics Textbooks for Grade 5 of Elementary Schools in Malaysia, China, and Indonesia. Objectives: This research analyzes the differences in the geometry material presented to grade 5 students of elementary schools and determines the characteristics of the questions in mathematics textbooks. Methods: The content analysis compared the geometry materials in the best mathematics textbooks widely used in grade 5 of elementary schools in Indonesia, Malaysia, and China. The analysis discussed several important points on geometry material, including sub-chapter, chapter content, and the presentation of practice questions. Findings: The results show that 66.36% of questions in the Indonesian textbook asked about knowing, 24.54% applying, and 0.09% reasoning. In the Malaysian textbook, 71.42% of questions asked focused knowing, 23.8% applying, and 4.76% reasoning. Furthermore, 49.6% of questions in the Chinese textbooks asked about knowing, 30.4% applying, and 20% reasoning. Conclusions: questions on knowing had the highest percentage in the Indonesian and Malaysian textbooks but balanced in Chinese.Keywords: mathematics textbook, geometry, Indonesian, Malaysian, China.Abstrak: Analisis Buku Ajar Matematika Geometri Kelas 5 SD di Indonesia, Malaysia dan China. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan materi geometri yang disajikan kepada siswa kelas 5 SD dan menentukan karakteristik soal pada buku teks matematika. Metode: Analisis isi membandingkan materi geometri dalam buku teks matematika terbaik yang banyak digunakan di kelas 5 sekolah dasar di Indonesia, Malaysia, dan Cina. Analisis membahas beberapa poin penting pada materi geometri, antara lain sub bab, isi bab, dan penyajian soal latihan. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 66,36% pertanyaan dalam buku teks bahasa Indonesia menanyakan tentang mengetahui, 24,54% menerapkan, dan 0,09% penalaran. Dalam buku teks Malaysia, 71,42% pertanyaan yang diajukan terfokus mengetahui, 23,8% menerapkan, dan 4,76% penalaran. Selanjutnya, 49,6% pertanyaan dalam buku teks bahasa Mandarin menanyakan tentang mengetahui, 30,4% menerapkan, dan 20% penalaran.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman dan persepsi individu seseorang yang mengikuti akun media Instagram Mesjid Darul Hasani di Desa Mireuk Taman Aceh Besar demi mendapatkan informasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan teori fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pengguna Instagram yang merupakan masyarakat desa yang aktif mengikuti akun instagram Mesjid dan mengamati kontennya. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pengguna Instagram mengalami pengalaman yang beragam dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang Mesjid Darul Hasani Mireuk Taman. Baik itu informasi umum maupun edukasi  seputar agama  yang didapatkan di media sosial khususnya instagram

    Covid-19 is a virus that causes mild and dangerous respiratory tract infections. To predict the spread and increase in the number of infected people, people are advised to adopt a healthy lifestyle by washing their hands. Currently, the faucets used mainly in the sink system are manual faucets. To open or close the faucet, the user must touch the faucet directly. So we need an innovation in this sink system. The innovation made is in the form of an automatic faucet with a photodiode sensor where the use of this sensor can later help make hand washing activities easier and more practical. By placing your hands in a certain position, water and liquid soap will come out automatically. The method used is the experimental method. The procedure of this research includes designing, assembling, and testing tools. The results of the experiment showed that when the hand accesses the sensor in the sink, the sink water automatically comes out, and when the hand is released no water comes out, this indicates that a person no longer needs to turn the water faucet to turn on the water.Covid-19 adalah virus yang menyebabkan infeksi saluran pernapasan ringan dan berbahaya. Untuk memprediksi penyebaran dan peningkatan jumlah orang yang terinfeksi, masyarakat disarankan untuk menerapkan pola hidup sehat dan mencuci tangan. Saat ini, kran yang digunakan terutama di sistem wastafel adalah kran manual. Untuk membuka atau menutup kran, pengguna harus menyentuh kran secara langsung. Maka diperlukan sebuah inovasi pada system wastafel ini. Inovasi yang dilakukan berupa kran otomatis dengan sensor Fotodioda dimana dengan penggunaan sensor ini nantinya dapat membantu kegiatan mencuci tangan agar lebih mudah dan lebih praktis. Dengan cara menempatkan tangan pada posisi tertentu, air dan sabun cair akan keluar secara otomatis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi perancangan, perakitan, dan pengujian alat. Hasil percobaan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa saat tangan mengakses sensor di wastafel, air wastafel otomatis keluar, dan saat tangan dilepas tidak ada air yang keluar, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa seseorang tidak perlu lagi memutar kran air untuk menghidupkan Air tersebut
