    Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam skripsi ini adalah Bagaimana efektivitas model pembelajaran Inquiry Discovery Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Pada Siswa Kelas VIII Semester 1 SMP NU 01 Muallimin Weleri Kendal Tahun Pelajaran 2010-2011. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Inquiry Discovery Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Pada Siswa Kelas VIII Semester 1 SMP NU 01 Muallimin Weleri Kendal, dengan indikator efektivitas hasil belajar kognitif dan aktivitas siswa dilihat ranah psikomotorik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan bentuk true experiment design yaitu eksperimen yang berbentuk pretest-posttest control design. Pada bentuk ini terdapat dua kelompok. Pertama, kelompok eksperimen yaitu kelompok yang diberi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Inquiry Discovery Learning. Kedua, kelompok kontrol yaitu kelompok yang tidak diberi pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Inquiry Discovery Learning. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari kelompok kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai thitung = 2,81. Hasil tersebut kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan ttabel di mana derajat kebebasan (α) adalah 5% dengan dk = n1+n2-2 (34 + 34 – 2) diperoleh t(0,95)(66) = 2.00 karena thitung > (1 – α)(n1+n2–2), berarti Ha diterima, atau signifikan. Maka, hipotesis menyatakan bahwa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Inquiry Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik efektif digunakan yaitu ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis keefektifan pembelajaran Inquiry Discovery Learning didapatkan bahwa persentase rata-rata hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif dan ranah psikomotorik kelas eksperimen adalah 75,30%. Perolehan tersebut mempunyai kriteria efektif. Kemudian, dalam kelas kontrol yaitu kelas yang tidak memakai pembelajaran Inquiry Discovery Learning didapatkan 64,66% yang mempunyai kriteria cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan akan menjadi bahan informasi dan masukan bagi para mahasiswa, para tenaga pengajar, para peneliti dan semua pihak yang membutuhkan

    This paper provides an overview about teacher education program which has been a major characteristic of LPTK. It begins with a general description about what educational practitioners thought about the conversion. Historical overview about the conversion of IKIP to university is the explained to refresh the initial purpose of the conversion. Documentary analysis is the main method used to explain the aims of the status change. A study related to the impact of the conversion to the LPTK ex IKIP is also delivered shortly. It then follows by literature reviews about teacher education program specifically the discussion about what student teachers are expected to learn to become a teacher. It ends by presenting challenges faced by LPTK especially for those of IKIPs regarding the future development of teacher education program

    Profession zakat is taken in every job or certain professional skills, whether committed alone or which is conducted with other agencies or goverments. In this research, researchers used a qualitative approach, and this research are descriptive. Data collection techniques, using the method of interview, observation, and documentation. Based on data obtained from informants in boarding school Nurul Quran and Nurul Jadid. Differences of opinion among the informants because: First, there is no regulation that specifically about the profession zakat. Second, the absence of arguments, texts and opinions of classical ulama specifically profession zakat. Third, the difficulty of the informants to make qiyas of profession zakat. This difference only occurs in the term only. BUT, the substance IS the same, that is the informants agree with the profession zakat.Zakat profesi merupakan zakat yang diambil pada setiap pekerjaan atau keahlian profesional tertentu, baik yang dilakukan sendirian maupun yang dilakukan bersama instansi lain atau pemerintah. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan sifatnya deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data, menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan data yang diperolehdari para informan di pondok pesantren Nurul Jadid dan Nurul Qur'an. Terjadinya perbedaan pendapat diantara para informan disebabkan oleh: Pertama, belum adanya undang-undang yang secara rinci membahas tentang zakat profesi. Kedua, tidak adanya dalil, nash dan pendapat ulama klasik yangmembahas secara khusus zakat profesi. Ketiga, Kesulitan para informan dalam men-qiyas-kan zakat profesi. Perbedaan ini hanya terjadi pada istilahnya saja. Sedangkan subtansinya sama, yaitu para informan setuju dengan adanya zakat profesi

    The low quality of nursing care of patient expectations not only due to the limited number of nurses , but due to the limited professional skills possessed by most nurses . In addition, socio-economic and social factors of different cultures will also affect the demands of nursing care services , resulting in low quality of nursing care .This research is quantitative research with cross sectional approach to the relationship between the dependent variable and independent variables by means of observation or data collection approach as well . Analysis is conducted multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to examine the relationship of independent variables simultaneously with the dependent variable . Also can be known where the dominant variables associated with the dependent variable . The study sample as many as 87 people , with a random sampling technique samplingOf the 87 respondents there is a relationship between empathy officer with the level of patient satisfaction p value = 0.000 , there is a relationship between physical appearance officer with the level of patient satisfaction p value = 0.005 , there is a security relationship with the level of patient satisfaction p value = 0.019 , there is a relationship between speed officers with patient satisfaction level p value = 0.005 . However, after multivariate analysis test to look for the most dominant factor between the independent variables and the dependent variable showed that the most dominant related to patient satisfaction is the speed of the clerk where p value = 0.000 .     This research aims to; (a) identify women\u27s involvement in the development of nagari (local state), (b) identify community efforts in empowering women to participate in the nagari development, (c) identify the women empowerment programs conducted by related agencies and institutions, (4) indentify the pattern of women empowerment in order to participate in the nagari development, and (5) identify community values that underlie women\u27s participation in the nagari development. This research is descriptive qualitative. It is conducted in coastal areas of Padang Pariaman regency, represented by each nagari in each of these districts: Ulakan Tapakis, Sungai Limau, Batang Gasan, and Lubuk Alung. Data is collected using questionnaires, interviews, direct observation, and library research. Data is analyzed qualitatively. The result shows that; 1) only a small number of women involves in the nagari development, due to the low level of education, 2) most community\u27s efforts in empowering women to participate in the nagari development depend only on the information or initiatives by the government whose meetings are part of government programs, 3) women empowerment program is held by the local agencies and institution, 4) women empowerment encouraged by the respondents are held in the coastal areas with coastal tourism, where women are active in coastal-based entrepreneurship, 5) women participation in every aspects of political, social, and cultural development are based on the value adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah (traditional value based on the interpretation of the Koran)

    Guru merupakan penentu dalam proses pembelajaran, oleh karena itu guru yang mengajar harus guru yang benar-benar sesuai bidangnya. Problematika mengajar merupakan masalah yang harus dicari penyelesaiannya. Permasalahan yang diangakat dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1)Bagaimana problematika yang dihadapi guru lulusan SMA dalam mengajar pendidikan agama Islam dan faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan timbulnya problematika dalam proses belajar mengajar PAI di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Purnama 1?(2) Bagaimana usaha guru lulusan SMA dalam mengatasi problematika dalam mengajar PAI di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Purnama 1? Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah satu orang guru lulusan SMA yang mengajar Mata Pelajaran PAI, yang menjadi informannya adalah Kepala Sekolah dan siswa. Pengumpulan data dengan melakukan tekhnik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan melakukan reduksi data, model data, dan penarikan/verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Problematika yang dihadapi guru lulusan SMA dalam mengajar pendidikan agama Islam yaitu guru belum mengerti membuat RPP, guru belum bisa menetukan tujuan pembelajaran,guru belum bisa menyusun materi pembelajaran,guru belum terampil membuat media, guru tidak menguasi materi,guru kurang mampu dalam menyesuaikan penyajian bahan dengan waktu yang tersedia, guru tidak memahami metode yang baru,guru tidak bisa menggunakan media audio visual,guru kurang terampil mengelola kelas, dalam evaluasi problem yang dihadapi yaitu masih ada siswa yangbelum mencapai hasil maksimal. Sedangkan faktor yang menyebabkan timbulnya problematika dalam proses belajar mengajar PAI yaitu ada empat faktor yaitu faktor guru, bahan atau materi yang dipelajari siswa, kondisi individu si pelajar, serta perlengkapan dan alat pembelajaran. (2) Usaha guru lulusan SMA dalam mengatasi problematika mengajar PAI yaitu guru berupaya mengikuti kegiatan dengan mengikuti pelatihan guru, belajar membuat perencanaan sebelum mengajar, belajar menentukan tujuan pembelajaran,berupaya terampil menyusun materi, belajar membuat media, berusaha menguasai materi, berusaha menyesuaikan penyajian bahan dengan waktu yang tersedia,belajar menggunakan metode dan media, belajar mengelola kelas dengan baik, berupaya memberikan motivasi dan bimbingan kepada peserta didiknya yang belum mencapai hasil maksimal. Namun walaupun ada upaya yang telah dilakukan guru tetapi pada kenyataanya guru tidak melaksanakan upaya tersebut, dengan demikian bahwa problem guru lulusan SMA yang mengajar pendidikan Agama Islam masih belum ada penyelesaiannya dari guru yang bersangkutan. ABSTRACT The teacher is a determinant in the learning process, therefore teachers must teach teachers really appropriate fields. Problems of teaching is a problem that must be sought the solution. The problems that were raised in this research are: (1) How can the problems faced by teachers of high school graduates in the teaching of Islamic education and what factors are causing the problems in teaching and learning in public elementary school PAI Purnama 1?(2) How are the teacher’s efforts in addressing the problem of high scchool graduates in teaching PAI state primary school Purnama 1? This study used a qualitative approach. The subject of in this study is one teacher who teacher high school graduates subjects PAI, which became his informant is the principal, teacher, and students. The collection of date by observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the date by performing date reduction, date models, and drawing/verification conclusion. The results of this research are: (1) The problems faced by teachers of high school graduates in teaching religious education in Islam, the teachers do not understand making lesson plans, teachers can not determine the purpose of learning, teachers have not been able to prepare teaching materials, teachers have not skilled at making media, teachers do not master the material , teachers are less able to adjust to present the material to the time available, the teacher does not understand the new method, the teacher can not use the audio-visual media, less-skilled teachers to manage the classroom, in the evaluation of the problems facing that there are still students who do not achieve maximum results. While the factors that cause the problems in the learning process PAI that there are four factors that factor teachers, materials or materials studied student, the individual condition of the students, as well as equipment and learning tools. (2) Enterprises teacher of High School graduate teachers in addressing the problems that teachers strive to teach PAI participated in the training of teachers, learn to plan before teaching, learning specify learning objectives, seeks to skillfully prepare materials, learning to make the media, trying to master the material, trying to adjust the presentation of material with the available time, learning methods and media, learning to manage the class well, seeks to provide motivation and guidance to learners who have not reached the maximum results. But despite the efforts made by teachers but in fact the teacher did not carry out such an effort, so that the problem of high school graduate teachers who teach Islamic education is still no completion of the teacher concerned

    The Construction of Academic Staff Identity Following the Conversion From IKIP to University

    This paper discussed the construction of academic staff identity following the conversion in 1999, from IKIP Ujung Pandang to Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM), South Sulawesi, Indonesia. It examined how the idea of becoming a university was perceived by university members and how it shaped the undergraduate program for teacher education at the university. Interviews were conducted to academic staff who had been working at the university before and after the conversion. The findings revealed that the meaning of becoming a university had shaped the changing characteristics of IKIP as a teacher education institute. The importance of disciplinary knowledge that characterised university, had strongly driven the scheme of the teacher education program. It also shaped the role of academic staff, as well as their professional careers. In order to be recognised as a university, the academic staff had been driven and constructed to fit the university features established by the government of Indonesia. For UNM, the strategy to strengthen academic staff qualifications in the field of disciplinary knowledge has turned these ‘teacher educators' into “university lecturers”. This qualification becomes the certificate of recognition for them as university lecturers, not as teacher educators only. It was argued that it had created identity issues for teacher educators, especially in the aspect of their academic expertise

    Kemahiran Insaniah merupakan kemahiran yang perlu dikuasai oleh pelajar pengajian tinggi seperti yang dikemukakan oleh Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia. Walau bagaimana pun belum terdapat satu instrumen yang boleh di gunakan bagi mengukur Kemahiran Insaniah yang dimiliki oleh pelajar. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengenai pasti sama ada instrumen psikometrik yang dihasilkan mempunyai kebolehpercayaan bagi tujuan mengukur tahap penguasaan Kemahiran Insaniah pelajar Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). Sampel kajian melibatkan pelajar tahun akhir Ijazah Saijana Muda UTHM yang dipilih secara rawak untuk dijadikan responden kajian. Pengedaran soal selidik telah di tadbir sendiri oleh pengkaji dengan mengedarkan dan memungutnya terus daripada responden. Bagi mendapatkan indeks kebolehpercayaan bagi instrumen yang dihasilkan tiga kaedah dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 11.0. Kajian rintis telah dijalankan sebanyak dua kali melibatkan 40 orang responden bagi rintis pertama yang bertujuan menguji kebolehpercayaan item bagi bahagian 1 dan 15 orang responden bagi rintis kedua yang bertujuan menguji kebolehpercayaan item bagi bahagian 2 dengan menggunakan Kaedah Konsistensi Dalaman dan Kaedah Pemisahan Separa atau Kaedah Bahagi Dua. Bagi kajian sebenar kaedah penganalisisan data adalah menggunakan Korelasi Pearson, yang bertujuan untuk melihat korelasi skor di antara Ujian Pra-Pasca bagi 140 orang responden kajian. Keputusan Ujian Pra-Pasca mendapati lima daripada tujuh bahagian kemahiran yang dibangunkan mempunyai tahap korelasi, r=0.70 ke atas pada aras kesignifikinan p<0.01 yang bererti bahawa instrumen sesuai dan boleh dipercayai untuk mengukur tahap penguasaan Kemahiran Insaniah pelajar UTHM. Setelah analisis dilakukan terhadap tahap penguasaan Kemahiran Insaniah pelajar, didapati tahap penguasaan pelajar berada pada tahap baik sahaja. Ini memperlihatkan banyak lagi usaha perlu dilakukan dalam meningkatkan Kemahiran Insaniah pelajar-pelajar ini
