Analisis Pola Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Sektor Potensial Kabupaten Klungkung
Decentralization requires local governments to further optimize the potential-potential to be developed as a potential sector. Klungkung regency as one of the agricultural character of the area still has a big opportunity in developing potential areas owned in order to support the economic development of Klungkung regency. This study aimed to determine the pattern of economic growth in terms of the Klungkung regency of per capita income and growth rate, economic sectors become aware of potential sectors Klungkung regency and identify opportunities / employment opportunities that can be created from the potential economic sectors in Klungkung regency. This study uses secondary data Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) At Constant Price, both from growth, and per capita contribution, and data on the number of people belonging to the labor force. Data collection methods used the method of documentation, further analysis using tools Quotients Klassen, Location quotients (LQ), Growth Ratio Model (MRP), Overlay, and Work Population Ratio (RPP). The results of this study stated that the economic growth pattern of Klungkung regency period 2008-2010 are in zone affluent areas are declining. While the potential economic sectors namely construction and development services. Of these sectors appear several potential sub-sectors, namely private services sub-sector. Opportunities / employment opportunities created from the construction sector average of only 3,01 percent and the service sector average of 5,96 per cent, is still very low when compared with the population as a whole Klungkung regency
Competitive Advantage of Green Hospitality Business Practices in 5 Star Hotels in Bali
This study gives an advantages account of green hospitality business practices in 5-star hotels in Bali island. The methods used were focus group discussion, case study, direct observation, and questionnaire. The results showed that all the studied hotels have practiced green hospitality, and have successfully integrated local values system pertaining to culture and ecology as green vision to elevate their social and ecological marketing. Furthermore, their green hospitality practices have been locally and Internationally certified and recognized, making the hotels known for green products. These made them to be in demand because most clients are looking for green hotels that preserve culture and nature. Also, green practices have changed the image of hotels to be ecologically and socio-culturally friendly, and as agents of local economy development. In addition, the practices have made the hotels capable of producing products and services with lower costs, and higher profit to compete in a global market to sustain their competitive advantages
