Top quark tensor couplings
We compute the real and imaginary parts of the one-loop electroweak
contributions to the left and right tensorial anomalous couplings of the
vertex in the Standard Model (SM). For both tensorial couplings we find that
the real part of the electroweak SM correction is close to 10 of the leading
contribution given by the QCD gluon exchange. We also find that the electroweak
real and imaginary parts for the anomalous right coupling are almost of the
same order of magnitude. The one loop SM prediction for the real part of the
left coupling is close to the 3 discovery limit derived from
. Besides, taking into account that the predictions of
new physics interactions are also at the level of a few percents when compared
with the one loop QCD gluon exchange, these electroweak corrections should be
taken into account in order to disentangle new physics effects from the
standard ones. These anomalous tensorial couplings of the top quark will be
investigated at the LHC in the near future where sensitivity to these
contributions may be achieved.Comment: 16 pages, 2 figure

Search for the Higgs boson decays H -> ee and H -> eΌ in pp collisions at root s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector
Searches for the Higgs boson decays H -> ee and H -> e mu are performed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb(-1) collected with the ATLAS detector in pp collisions at root s = 13 TeV at the LHC. No significant signals are observed, in agreement with the Standard Model expectation. For a Higgs boson mass of 125 GeV, the observed (expected) upper limit at the 95% confidence level on the branching fraction B(H -> ee) is 3.6 x 10(-4) (3.5 x 10(-4)) and on B(H -> e mu) is 6.2 x 10(-5) (5.9 x 10(-5)). These results represent improvements by factors of about five and six on the previous best limits on B(H -> ee) and B(H -> e mu) respectively. (C) 2019 The Author. Measurement of the Branching Fraction for B- --> D0 K*-
We present a measurement of the branching fraction for the decay B- --> D0
K*- using a sample of approximately 86 million BBbar pairs collected by the
BaBar detector from e+e- collisions near the Y(4S) resonance. The D0 is
detected through its decays to K- pi+, K- pi+ pi0 and K- pi+ pi- pi+, and the
K*- through its decay to K0S pi-. We measure the branching fraction to be

Evidence for the Rare Decay B -> K*ll and Measurement of the B -> Kll Branching Fraction
We present evidence for the flavor-changing neutral current decay and a measurement of the branching fraction for the related
process , where is either an or
pair. These decays are highly suppressed in the Standard Model,
and they are sensitive to contributions from new particles in the intermediate
state. The data sample comprises
decays collected with the Babar detector at the PEP-II storage ring.
Averaging over isospin and lepton flavor, we obtain the branching
fractions and , where the
uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. The significance of

Search for the standard model Higgs boson in +jets final states in 9.7~fb of collisions with the D0 detector
We present, in detail, a search for the standard model Higgs boson, , in final states with a charged lepton (electron or muon), missing energy, and two or more jets in data corresponding to 9.7 fb of integrated luminosity collected at a center of mass energy of = 1.96 TeV with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The search uses -jet identification to categorize events for improved signal versus background separation and is sensitive to associated production of the with a boson, ; gluon fusion with the Higgs decaying to boson pairs, ; and associated production with a vector boson where the Higgs decays to boson pairs, production (where or ). We observe good agreement between data and expected background. We test our method by measuring and production with and find production rates consistent with the standard model prediction. For a Higgs boson mass of 125 GeV, we set a 95%\ C.L. upper limit on the production of a standard model Higgs boson of \obslimA, where is the standard model Higgs boson production cross section, while the expected limit is \explimA. We also interpret the data considering models with fourth generation fermions, or a fermiophobic Higgs boson
Second Generation Leptoquark Search in p\bar{p} Collisions at = 1.8 TeV
We report on a search for second generation leptoquarks with the D\O\
detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider at = 1.8 TeV.
This search is based on 12.7 pb of data. Second generation leptoquarks
are assumed to be produced in pairs and to decay into a muon and quark with
branching ratio or to neutrino and quark with branching ratio
. We obtain cross section times branching ratio limits as a function
of leptoquark mass and set a lower limit on the leptoquark mass of 111
GeV/c for and 89 GeV/c for at the 95%\

Search for Charged Higgs Bosons in Decays of Top Quark Pairs
We present a search for charged Higgs bosons in decays of pair-produced top
quarks using 109.2 +- 5.8 pb^-1 of data recorded from ppbar collisions at
sqrt{s} = 1.8 TeV by the D0 detector during 1992-96 at the Fermilab Tevatron.
No evidence is found for charged Higgs production, and most parts of the
[m(H+),tan(beta)] parameter space where the decay t -> bH+ has a branching
fraction close to or larger than that for t -> bW+ are excluded at 95%
confidence level. Assuming m(t) = 175 GeV and sigma(ppbar -> ttbar) = 5.5 pb,
for m(H+) = 60 GeV, we exclude tan(beta) 40.9.Comment: 11 pages, 3 figures, submitted to PR
Search for Zgamma events with large missing transverse energy in ppbar collisions at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV
We present the first search for supersymmetry (SUSY) in Zgamma final states
with large missing transverse energy using data corresponding to an integrated
luminosity of 6.2 fb-1 collected with the D0 experiment in ppbar collisions at
sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV. This signature is predicted in gauge-mediated SUSY-breaking
models, where the lightest neutralino is the next-to-lightest supersymmetric
particle (NLSP) and is produced in pairs, possibly through decay from heavier
supersymmetric particles. The NLSP can decay either to a Z boson or a photon
and an associated gravitino that escapes detection. We exclude this model at
the 95% C.L. for SUSY breaking scales of Lambda < 87 TeV, corresponding to
neutralino masses of < 151 GeV.Comment: submitted to Phys. Rev. Let
Measurement of trilinear gauge boson couplings from WW + WZ to lnu jj events in pp-bar collisions at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV
We present a direct measurement of trilinear gauge boson couplings at gammaWW
and ZWW vertices in WW and WZ events produced in pp-bar collisions at
sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV. We consider events with one electron or muon, missing
transverse energy, and at least two jets. The data were collected using the D0
detector and correspond to 1.1/fb of integrated luminosity. Considering two
different relations between the couplings at the gammaWW and ZWW vertices, we
measure these couplings at 68% C.L. to be kappa_{gamma}=1.07^{+0.26}_{-0.29},
lambda =0.00^{+0.06}_{-0.06} and g_{1}^{Z}=1.04^{+0.09}_{-0.09} in a scenario
respecting SU(2)_L x U(1)_Y gauge symmetry and kappa =1.04^{+0.11}_{-0.11} and
lambda=0.00^{+0.06}_{-0.06} in an "equal couplings" scenario.Comment: 14 pages, 7 figures, published in Phys. Rev. D, updated to published
