    CONSTRUCTIVISM MODEL APPLICATION IN DRAWING PERSPECTIVE LEARNING AT DEPARTMENT OF ART EDUCATION

    This research aims to learn the application of learning models constructivism course on drawing perspective. The type of this research is a research & development (R & D) by developing a learning package drawing perspective based constructivism learning model.Components of the package consists of, textbooks, lecture events unit (SAP), learning media (slides), learning design, assessment tools, guidelines to students, and guidelines for lecturers. The research method with a model-based constructivism, and begins with needs analysis, drafting packages, testingpackage, and the test results of applying the model as well as the implementation and application of the model development package.The results showed that with the package of learning development results and by applying the constructivism learning model, can improve students’ understanding of the concepts and principles drawing perspective.     PENGELOLAAN SANITASI LINGKUNGAN PERUMAHAN Dl KOTA PALU PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGAH

    Abstrak: Sebagai salah satu aspek pembangunan, sanitasi memiliki fungsi penting dalam menunjang tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat karena berkaitan dengan kesehatan, pola hidup, estetika serta kenyamanan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sarana sanitasi (jamban keluarga] yang dibangun banyak yang belum memenuhi standar kesehatan karena sifatnya masih jamban sederhana (cemplung), kemudian sisi lainnya bahwa pengelolaan sampah di Kota Palu belum tertangani dengan baik. Pertumbuhan penduduk Kota Palu terus meningkat, hal ini sejalan dengan semakin bertambahnya penyediaan sarana dan prasarana seperti jalan, pembukaan lahan-lahan baru untuk perumahan, drainase dan air bersih. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dari 100 responden dan survey literatur bahwa gambaran mengenai Sanitasi lingkungan disimpulkan bahwa, untuk pengelolaan air minum masyarakat di Kota Palu, khususnya pada tempat wadah penyimpanan air, masih sekitar 27% wadah penyimpanan dan penanganan air minum yang dimiliki responden telah tercemar. Sedangkan sekitar 73 % tempat penyimpanan dan penanganan air minum di rumah tangga tidak tercemar. Sekitar 39 % responden, masih melaksanakan aktivitas Buang Air Besar Sembarangan (BABS), sementara sekitar 60 % responden sudah tidak melakukan praktek BABS. Mengenai perilaku masyarakat Kota Palu terkait dengan pengolahan sampah setempat (pemisahan jenis sampah pada skala rumah tangga) .Terdapat sekitar 94% responden tidak melakukan pengolahan sampah rumah tangga, dan sekitar 6% sudah melakukan pengolah jenis sampah umah tangga yang dihasiikan. Untuk pengelolaan Sistem Pembuangan Air Limbah Rumah Tangga diperoleh sebesar 39 % responden belum mengelola air limbah dari dapur, kamar mandi dan tempat cuci dengan benar.Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 61 % responden sudah melakukan pengelolaan air limbah dari dapur dengan benar

    Characteristic bricks produced of small industry in South Sulawesi, Indonesia

    Abstract: This research aims to describe the characteristics of brick for small industrial production in South Sulawesi.Variables tested were visual test, size, water absorption and compressive strength. This research was conducted at the Laboratory Materials Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Samples taken at random as much as 150 bricks each industry group. Testing each variable of each 50 samples. Data analysis technique used is descriptive and statistical analysis. The visual test results showed that the most of the bricks do not meet the three requirements visually. High size bricks have irregularities of 6.88 mm and deviations thick of 29 mm while the size of the width of the bricks showed a deviation of 1.07 mm. The absorption test results show that of most of the samples of bricks showed absorption between 10% to 13.99% and meet the required value. The maximum value of bricks compressive strength of 0.8 MPa or do not meet the required compressive strength value. In general, the brick production of small industries in South Sulawesi are not eligible

    Abstract: The purpose of this research was to examine the effectiveness of the use of Entrepreneurship learning modules based tutorial multimediaconsists of two indicators, namely:(1) effectively enhance students’ creativity, and (2) effectively enhance the learning outcomes of students. The entrepreneurship Module-based multimedia, equipped with CD tutorials that can provide motivation and inspiration for students to assess the material well and put it into practice through tasks, to produce graduates students who are qualified, productive and able to compete in the era of the Asean Economic Community (AEC). The method used to test the effectiveness of the use of Entrepreneurship module based multimedia tutorial is a Quasi experimental with the shape of Time Series Design, using one group was given treatment. Before the treated group were given a pretest to four times, with a view to determine the stability and clarity of the circumstances of the group before being treated.Samples were taken proportionatelyof students in class XI numbered 30 people. The research located in SMKN 5 Makassar, South Sulawesi, on even semester 2015/ 2016. Based on observations and analysis of data on the use of Entrepreneurship module based tutorial multimedia, the results of this research are: (1) The use of Entrepreneurship learning modules based tutorial multimedia effectively improve the creativity of learners, (2) The use of Entrepreneurship learning modules based tutorial multimedia can enhance the learning outcomes of students. Thus, it was concluded that the entrepreneurial learning modules based on effective use of multimedia in vocational high schools, because it can raise achievement motivation of learners, so that creativity and achievement of learners can be increased

    Effect of Formative and Ability Test Result on Early Learning of Students

    The objective of this study was to examine the relationship of formative tests to early learning ability of students in the science learning style. This research used an experimental method with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The participants comprised all the students in class VII of the Islamic Junior High School State of Kolaka, a total of 343 students from 9 classes. Sampling was based on the use of a two-stage cluster sampling technique to randomly select four classes of students. The four classes were re-randomized, with two being given formative tests and two being given multiple choice tests. The t-test was used to measure the student learning outcomes. The results showed: (1) the use of formative tests in narrative form in the learning process can provide a measure of higher learning output compared with the use of formative multiple choice tests. (2) For those students who have a high initial ability, the use of formative tests can provide higher learning outcomes compared with the use of multiple choice tests. (3) For those students who have a lower initial ability, the use of formative tests in narrative form does not provide a different outcome to tests in multiple choice formats

    Hasil daur ulang (recycle) dari limbah industri pakaian jadi yang dibuat menjadi produk kerajinan kain perca oleh pengrajin kain perca di Kota Makassar, pada umumnya tidak pernah melakukan pengembangan diri dalam pengolahan limbah perca kain menjadi suatu produk daur ulang, tidak pernah memperkenalkan atau membuat sesuatu yg baru (innovative), dalam membuat produk kerajinan dari perca kain, dan tidak ada pengembangan (devolepment) yang terjadi. Bahkan sudah melakukan pekerjaan tersebut selama bertahun-tahun, tetapi tidak ada prestasi (achievement) yang menonjol dari hasil kerajian produk yang telah dibuat oleh pengrajin. Pemanfaatkan kain perca sebagai bahan baku utama pembuatan aneka kerajinan, ternyata bisa menjadi salah satu peluang bisnis yang sangat menguntungkan. Mulai dari kain sisa jahitan yang awalnya tidak bernilai, bisa dikreasikan menjadi berbagai macam produk kerajinan yang memiliki fungsi dan harga jual cukup tinggi. Misalnya bed cover, sarung bantal maupun seprei, keset, serbet, taplak meja, boneka, kotak pensil, dompet handpone, tas,hiasan dinding dan lain sebagainya. Oleh sebab itu, maka dikembangkan suatu pelatihan dengan model Motivation-Innovative-Development-Achievement (Model Pelatihan MIDA) yang bertujuan untuk memberikan motivasi, inovasi, perkembangan dan pencapaian prestasi sebagai upaya peningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap pengrajin mengelola limbah industri pakaian jadi, dalam hal ini limbah kain perca. Sehingga dengan demikian, maka dapat menjadikan limbah kain perca tersebut sebagai bidang usaha yang lebih menjanjikan pada masa yang akan datang. Sebagai upaya memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang Model Pelatihan MIDA ini, maka Buku Model ini dibuat untuk memenuhi salah satu kebutuhan para pihak, baik pengambil kebijakan, pemerhati dan praktisi serta pihak lainnya, yang konsen pada perlindungan, pemeliharaan, dan pengelolaan lingkungan hidup dalam memaksimalkan upaya kreatif dimaksud

    Effect of Knowledge and Motivation Toward Seaweed Farmers’ Cultivation Behavior

    Abstract: This study was carried out to solve the problem of the ice-ice disease faced by seaweed farmers. The purpose of this research was to describe the effect of ice-ice disease knowledge and seaweed farming knowledge to cutivation behavior; the effect of ice-ice disease knowledge, and the seaweed cultivation knowledge to the cultivation motivation; and the effect of cultivating motivation to the cutivation behavior of the seaweed farmers. This research is a correlational study to look at the relationships between exogenous with endogenous variables. The study involved 60 seaweed farmers in Tablolong village. The data of this study consists of cultivation behavior and motivation collected by questionnaire, the data about knowledge of ice-ice disease, and seaweed cultivation gathered through the knowledge test sheet. Data were analyzed by path analysis through SPSS for Window.The results showed that there is a direct effect of the ice-ice disease knowledge toward the cultivation motivation but not for cultivation knowledge; and there is a direct effect of the cultivation motivation to the cultivation behavior. It can be concluded that the ice-ice knowledge directly effect toward cultivation motivation and the cultivation motivation effect toward behavior of the seaweed farmers in Kupang district

    The Effect of Addition of Waste Strapping Band on Gap Graded Concrete

    The study aimed to determine the effect of compressive strength and split tensile strength of gap graded concrete with the addition of strapping band waste variations of 0.5%, 1.0%, and 1.5% of the weight of cement. The study was conducted at the Materials and Concrete Laboratory of Bosowa University-Makassar. Quantitative research with experimental studies through the DoE (Design of Experiment) method conducted at the Materials and Concrete Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering, Bosowa-Makassar University. The study design was carried out on the quality of concrete f'c 20 Mpa. Normal concrete testing has a graded grade, obtained by concrete compressive strength of an average of 23.52 MPa. Gap graded concrete with the addition of fiber strapping band as much as 0.5% of the weight of cement, obtained by compressive strength of concrete at an average of 24.06 Mpa. Compressive strength of an average of 26.04 Mpa obtained the addition of fiber strapping band waste as much as 1.0%. Concrete compressive strength of an average of 20.48 MPa gained addition of 1.5% fiber strapping band waste. The concrete tensile strength of an average of 1.463 MPa gained normal graded concrete testing. The concrete tensile strength of an average of 1.557 MPa achieved Gap graded concrete with the addition of fiber strapping band as much as 0.5% of the weight of the cement. The concrete tensile strength of an average of 2.548 MPa attained the addition of 1.0% fiber strapping band waste. Finally, the concrete tensile strength of an average of 1.982 Mpa found addition of 1.5% fiber strapping band waste

    Developing Computer Assisted Learning Media For Environment Education In Adiwiyata Elementary School

    Abstract: This research aims to: (1) identify systematic steps in developing computer assisted learning media for environment education in Adiwiyata elementary school, (2) know user (teacher and student) responds on visual aspect of the developed learning media, (3) know user (teacher and student) responds on learning aspect of the developed media, (4) know user (teacher and student) responds on content aspect of the developed media, and (5) examine the effectiveness of computer-assisted learning media PLH developed. This research is a research and development of computer assisted learning media for environment education in Adiwiyata elementary school that centered in SDN Tanggul Patompo II Makassar. The resulted product has been validated by media, content and programming experts. Test of the developed media has been conducted in limited test and field test. The results of this research is: (1) Several systematic steps in developing computer assisted learning media for environment education in Adiwiyata elementary school that preceded by initial study in the form of need analysis that conducted in several Adiwiyata elementary schools. The next step is learning media and learning plan design stage. This stage was preceded by studying the syllabi, learning plan, learning material, student’s worksheet and followed by evaluation process that concluded by designing the learning media. The third step is development stages. In this stage, learning media has been developed based on designed media in previous stage. The resulted media is an initial prototype product which has been validated by media, content and programming experts. 1056 Syamsurijal et al Some improvements have been done according to expert’s suggestion. The last stage is trial step to some respondents that carried out in two stages that are in limited and field groups. Correctness has also been performed if there were some weaknesses found during tests., (2) User (teachers and students) feedback about visual aspect of the developed media are in very good criteria, (3) User (teachers and students) feedback on learning aspect of the developed media are in very good criteria, (4) User (teachers and students) feedback on content/material aspect of the developed media are in very good criteria, (5) the effectivity of the developed media reached 76% in content about forest types, (6) The environment education learning media has been stated as valid media by two media experts, two content experts and two programming experts, and (7) this developed environment learning media has also complied with practical aspect that it was easily used by teachers and students
