Nature, Outdoor life, and Science: The considerations of pedagoues, when they convey nature to children.
This paper concerns a project idea regarding how pedagogues convey nature to children who are in kindergarten. This idea is driven by the notion that there are certain positive effects attributed to being exposed to nature. This paper however delves deeper than that, and seeks to create a framework to understand the didactic considerations behind how pedagogues act in a kindergarten context. An interesting aspect lies in which forces are affecting the pedagogues, such as the pedagogic curriculum, and how pedagogues are being evaluated based on this curriculum. With a critical perspective, this paper will go over possible theories of science, including those of which we have been inspired by. Several methodologies have been handpicked to best research this topic, as well as prepare for an analysis, being inspired by the hermeneutic phenomenology as a theory of science
