The Connotative Meaning of the Visual Sign of Tokek (Gekko Gecko) on the T-Shirt Used as a Souvenir in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara
The background of the study was the use of the visual sign of tokek (Gekko gecko) used in various souvenirs,
one of which was T-shirt, in Lombok. This study aimed at revealing the meaning of the visual sign of tokek (Gekko gecko) on the T-shirt. Purposive sampling technique was used in this study; the sample used was supposed to represent the study, the symmetric and asymmetric types. The connotative meaning of the visual sign of tokek (Gekko gecko) was analyzed using the theory of semiotics in which the Pierce’s theory was employed to see the signs such as icons, indices, and symbols in the picture. The theory proposed by Rolland Barthes was used to analyze the connotative meaning and the reading codes such as narration, hermeneutics, semantics, symbolism, and culture. The results of analyses showed that the sign of visual tokek showed the visual sign of lizards found in the sarcophagus of Aik Renung, Sumbawa, meaning that
the use of the visual sign of tokek referred to the prehistoric situation when the people in Lombok believed
in animism. The use of the sign of visual on the t-shirt used as the souvenir was intended to show the existence and place which differed Lomok Island from the other regions.

Melalui Pendekatan Saintifik Model Pembelajaran Abad Ke-21 Metode Blended Learning untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Mata Pelajaran Matematika Kd 3.2/4.2 Pokok Bahasan Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel di Kelas X.IS.1 MAN 2 Kota Payakumb
This study is aimed to see and analyze the increasing of students learning result of mathematic subject in basic competency 3.2/3.4 about linear equation system three variables applying scientific approach the 21st century learning learning model in covid-19 pandemic learning at tenth grade, even semester of MAN 2 Payakumbuh, west Sumatra.This research was applying classroom action research. It consisted of two cycles where each cycle consisted of planning, action, reflection, and evaluation. This research has been conducted from august to November 2021. The data was processed and analyzed into percentage. The improvement in the average value of learning result for knowledge competence at the 1st cycle from 79,72 to 84,17 at the 2nd cycle and the result value for skill competences increased from 77,78 at the 1st cycle to 80,56 at the 2nd cycle. The students learning mastery for knowledge competence at the 1st cycle and the 2nd cycle is 32 students (88,89%) for skill competence have increased from 24 students (66,67%) at the 1st cycle become 33 students (91,67%) at the 2nd cycle from 36 students. The conclusion obtained from this research is the applying scientific approach the 21st century learning model in covid-19 pandemic learning can improved the students learning result

Era revolusi industri 4.0 mendorong pemerintah untuk melakukan perubahan kebijakan di dunia pendidikan dengan meluncurkan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar yang bertujuan untuk mencetak Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang salah satu dimensinya adalah bernalar kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah model pembelajaran Teacher at The Right Level (TaRL) Metode Diskusi Kelompok di Kelas X E 12 MAN 2 Kota Payakumbuh Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 bisa meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mengunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yeng terdiri dari dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari; perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Mei 2023. Data diolah pada setiap siklus kemudian dianalisis menggunakan persentase.Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Payakumbuh dengan menggunakan observasi dan tes hasil studi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TaRL berpotensi meningkatkan kemampuan hasil belajar peserta didik. Ini terbukti dari peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik prasiklus 67,57; siklus I 80; dan siklus II 86,47. Untuk hasil belajar keterampilan yaitu prasiklus 69,86; siklus I 78,87; dan siklus II 84,85. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah penggunakan model TaRL metode diskusi kelompok dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik
Failure of Securitizing the Climate Change Issue at the United Nations Security Council (2007-2019)
Abstract        This paper describes the dynamics of debates on the securitization of climate change issue at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), which took place from 2007 to 2019. Although there have been four open debates on this issue at the UNSC, until 2019, the process of the securitization of climate change issue has failed. Prior studies discussing the same concern has only explained some of the reasons proposed in the debates, such as relating to the mandate of the UNSC, the division of work in the UN units, and whether the issue of climate change could be considered as a security issue. By applying the Externalist School of Securitization theory, this paper analyzes the relationship between sociolinguistics and socio-politics in the dynamics of the debates on the securitization of climate change issue at the UNSC and the roles of the permanent members in the debates. The main argument in this research is spotted on the existing rejection against the framing of climate change as a security issue by several UNSC permanent members, hence no mitigation policy can be mutually agreed upon. PERAN MUSIK KLASIK BARAT DALAM PENINGKATAN SEKRESI SALIVA PASIEN GERIATRI DENGAN KONDISI XEROSTOMIA
Xerostomia or dry mouth is one of the complaints in oral cavity, which associated with reduced salivary flow. Many issues will appear in people with xerostomia, such as dry mouth mucosa that can cause irritation in the oral cavity, difficulty speaking, burning mouth, taste disturbance, increased tooth decay and plaque, halitosis, changes in soft tissue, inflammation of periodonsium, and problems of prosthesis. Music can be used as an alternative in improving saliva secretion. Music that is formed through a slow tempo, repetitive rhythm, and gentle contour will provide silent and relax atmosphere. The nerve that dominates the state of calm and relaxed is the parasympathetic nervous system which supplies the saliva glands, and causes the expenditure watery saliva in large amount and enzyme rich. There were increasing saliva secretion in the result of this research, where the mean of salivary secretion in western classical music group before treatment was 0.087±0.007 ml/minute, and after treatment was 0.204±0.13 ml/minute. It is recommended to patients with xerostomia, especially in the elderly to listen the western classical music, which can make our mind relax and also increase the salivary secretion
WIFE PROTECTION OF VIOLENCE MEASURES IN HOUSEHOLD ACCORDING TO ISLAMIC LAW PERSPECTIVE
The results of this study are that Islam has governed the matter of the relationship between husband and wife who are bound in a domestic relationship if, without justifiable reasons a wife rejects the husband's request, then given Islamic law, the act is sinful. Therefore Islam considers that the rules contained in Law No. 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Households specifically concerning sexual relations between husband and wife in line with Islamic law, then Islamic law considers these rules to be obeyed, otherwise if the rules in Law No. 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence, contrary to Islamic law, Islamic law considers the issue unfit to follow. Domestic Violence can be charged with criminal penalties, while through non-penal policies, efforts will be made to prevent violence before the crime of domestic violence occurs
TRADISI KAWIN TANGKAP SUMBA DAN PRESPEKTIF UNDANG-UNDANG R I NOMOR 1 TAHUN 1974 TENTANG PERKAWINAN
ABSTRAKTradisi kawin tangkap biasanya dilakukan oleh keluarga kaya karena terkait dengan mahar yang harus dibayarkan pada pihak perempuan mahal. Namun tradisi kawin tangkap yang terjadi sekarang sudah melenceng dan tidak sesuai lagi dengan tradisi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan kajian terkait Tardisi Kawin Tangkap Sumba dan bagaimana Prespektif Undang-Undang R I Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan data sekunder yaitu jurnal-jurnal dan surat-surat kabar online yang kredibel. Setelah data dikumpulkan kemudian peneliti menyusun hasil penelitian secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian pustaka yang dilakukan peneliti menemukan bahwa Kawin tangkap yang berlaku saat ini seakan menjadi praktek penculikan yang berlindung di bawah nilai adat Sumba dan tidak sesuai dengan praktek kawin tangkap pada zaman dulu. Tradisi kawin tangkap secara paksa telah melanggar UU hukum pidana Pasal 328 dan tidak sesuai dengan asas keluarga dan syarat perkawinan yang terdapat pada UU RI No 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan. Disarakan seluruh pihak terkait baik dari tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama maupun Pemerintah Daerah Sumba untuk melakukan sosialisai pentingnya menjaga tertib Hukum agar kasus kejadian kawin tangkap secara paksa tidak terjadi pada perempuan Sumba.Kata Kunci: Kawin tangkap, UU RI No 1 Tahun 197
MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF COURSE REVIEW HORAY SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF PENINGKATAN PENGUASAAN POLA KALIMAT DASAR BAHASA JEPANG
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil peningkatan penguasaan pola kalimat dasar bahasa Jepang dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Course Review Horay. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa mengenai model pembelajaran Course Review Horay ini dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Jepang terutama pada pola kalimat dasar bahasa Jepang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen murni dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B dan VIII C SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 40 orang. Sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, yang masingmasing berjumlah 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes dan angket. Hasil data pre-test kedua sampel termasuk dalam kategori kurang, namun setelah pembelajaran diberikan, hasil post-test kedua sampel menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Dari analisis data, didapat t hitung adalah 7,37 sedangkan t tabel untuk db 39 dengan taraf signifikasi 5% = 2,02 dan t tabel dengan taraf signifikasi 1% = 2,71. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa t hitung lebih besar dari pada t tabel maka hipotesis kerja (Hk) diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket yang diperoleh, sebagian besar siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif Course Review Horay sehingga model pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk menguasai pola kalimat bahasa Jepang.--------This research is aimed to find out the improvement of mastery of basic Japanese sentence pattern using cooperative learning model Course Review Horay and students gave the positive response about this learning model in Japanese lesson. The method used in this research is purely experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this research are students of class VIII B and VIII C SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI in the academic year of 2017/2018 which amounted to 40 people. The sample is divided into two classes, named experimental class and control class, each of the class is amounts to 20 people. The instruments used in this research are test and questionnaire. The results of the pre-test data of both samples were included in the less category, but after the lesson with cooperative learning model Course Review Horay was given, the post-test results of both samples showed significant improvement. From the data analysis, obtained t count is 7.37 while t table for db 39 with significance level 5% = 2.02 and t table with significance level 1% = 2.71. Thus it can be concluded that the result of t count is bigger than t table, then the hypothesis work is accepted. Based on the result of questionnaire analysis, most students gave the positive response to the Course Review Horay model of learning so that this cooperative learning model can be used as an alternative to mastering Japanese sentence pattern

Denganadanyapenurunanpenggunaan radio sekolahsaatinimendorongpenelitiuntukmelakukanpenelitianmengenaipenggunaan radio sekolah, karenamungkinsajapenggunaan radio sekolah yang menurundiakibatkankonten – konten yang adapada radio sekolahtidakdapatmemenuhikebutuhuhanbelajarsiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan radio sekolah saat ini memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Sedangkan untuk tujuan khususnya, untuk mengetahui bagaiman penggunaan radio sekolah di Pesantren An Najiyah sebagai pendukung pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi siswa, untuk mengetahui bagaiman penggunan radio sekolah di Pesantren An Najiyah sebagai pendukung pemenuhan kebutuhan komunikasi siswa, untuk mengetahui bagaiman penggunan radio sekolah di Pesantren An Najiyah sebagai pendukung pemenuhan kebutuhan hiburan siswa, dan untuk mengetahui bagaiman penggunan radio sekolah di Pesantren An Najiyah sebagai pendukung pemenuhan kebutuhan media pembelajaran siswa.Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptifkuantitatif, padapenelitianinimenggunakanduabuahinstrumenyaituangketdanwawancara.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dananalisishasilwawacara, penggunaan radio sekolahterhadappemenuhankebutuhanbelajarsiswamemberikanpengaruhterhadapkegiatanbelajarsiswa.Penggunaan radio sekolahterhadappemenuhankebutuhanbelajarsiswa, memberikanpengaruh yang baikdansignifikan. Sepertipemenuhankebutuhaninformasi yang mendapatkanhasil84%,kebutuhankomunikasi65%, kebutuhanhiburan81% dankebutuhan media pembelajaran75%.
The progress of science and technology which keeps growing can replace the role of school radio as a medium of information and communication reduced. With a decrease in the use of radio our schools today encourage researchers to conducted research on the use of radio school because it might be that the use of radio declining school is caused content - content that is on the school radio were not able to fulfill of a need to study for students. This study attempts to find out if the use of radio schools out of these days to exert an influence upon learning outcomes students.
