Socio-Economic Impact of Telework for Workers with Disabilities in Indonesia
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the structure of people's lives, including the work models. The telework work model is increasingly being used because it is considered capable of facilitating mobility, cost efficiency, and offering time flexibility for workers. Most studies about telework and disabled persons focus on cases in developed countries and increasing job opportunities. This study aims to provide an overview of the socio-economic impact of telework on Persons with Disability (PwD) in developing countries, specifically in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with case study approach. Data were collected by in-depth interviews and literature studies on articles, journals, books, and open-source references regarding telework and disability. This study found that the telework model has made disabled workers in Indonesia even more marginalized. Moreover, the telework model had triggered financial difficulties among disabled workers, such as salary cuts, temporary and permanent lay-offs, and job loss. Furthermore, this is because most disabled workers in Indonesia have low education level, skills, limited access to the internet, and limited access to telework facilities. Meanwhile, this study aims to provide an overview of socio-economic impact from telework models on disabled persons in developing countries, especially in Indonesia, where most disabled persons have low education level and poor digital skill. This study offers recommendations to create an inclusive telework market, that is; conduct job analysis, improve the education system and digital skill for PwD, provide assisting and supporting facilities, guarantee for workers with disability, as well as monitoring and evaluation

Industrial Park and Welfare Effect: A Preliminary Evidence from Indonesia
How can the presence of industrial parks affect the welfare of the people in the districts/city within which they operate? While studies about the socio-political and economic consequences of industrial parks abound in the academic world, industrial parks are still understudied in Indonesia. the paper is a preliminary observation on the relationship between the presence of industrial parks and the welfare conditions of the people in the districts. Using two measures of welfare, human development index and household spending, we find that the presence of industrial parks has some positive effects on these two measures. The two models of the bivariate relationships show that the relationships are statistically significant. Nevertheless, the study still suffers from some weaknesses that future studies can improve

Democracy and Economic Welfare: An Empirical Analysis
This article assesses the relationship between democracy and welfare policy. There are substantial variations in the empirical evidence regarding the relationship between these two variables. While some works showed that there is a systematic relationship between democracy and welfare policy, others failed to show that relationship. We argue that we need to look at the internal political variables within these democracies in order to see what factors within those polities that can lead to a more welfare-oriented policy. We further argue that democracies with parliamentary system and proportional representation are more likely to adopt welfare-oriented policy. Using panel data of 32 democracies from 1961 to 2015, we find some empirical supports for our argument

DIPLOMASI EKONOMI INDONESIA DALAM MENINGKATKAN EKSPOR KAKAO KE MALAYSIA PERIODE 2017 – 2021
Indonesia is one of the countries that relies on international trade to support its economic growth. Since the 1980s, Indonesia\u27s international trade has undergone significant changes, where previously, its exports heavily depended on oil and gas commodities. However, non-oil and gas commodities, such as cocoa, have now become dominant sectors in Indonesia\u27s export development. Exports play a vital role in a country\u27s economy, as an increase in exports compared to imports benefits the country, while dependence on imports can lead to a trade balance deficit. Malaysia is one of the main destinations for Indonesia\u27s cocoa exports, followed by China, India, the United States, and the Philippines. Total cocoa exports in the last five years have shown fluctuations. Although geographically close, there are significant differences between Indonesian and Malaysian cocoa beans, especially in processing practices, particularly cocoa bean fermentation. Studies have shown that Indonesia\u27s cocoa exports to Malaysia have increased, although from 2017 to 2021, there was a slight decline in the export volume. Indonesia\u27s economic diplomacy, including cocoa product promotion and production quality improvements, has played a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesian cocoa in the Malaysian market. Overall, Indonesia\u27s economic diplomacy has significantly contributed to boosting cocoa exports to Malaysia during the 2017–2021 period through various initiatives that strengthen the competitiveness and quality of Indonesian cocoa products in the international market
