    Although online health communities are popular in supporting mental health, factors leading to the helpfulness of mental health information are still under-investigated. Based on the elaboration likelihood model and motivation theory, we incorporate two types of health information-related constructs, i.e., information quality (central route) and respondersā€™ effort (peripheral route), and adopt reputation as an extrinsic motivation to build our model. We crawl data from a Chinese online mental health community and extract 11 key variables, and then analyze the model with negative binomial regression. The empirical results indicate that the effect of the length of health information on its helpfulness votes is positively significant, while the effect of readability of health information on its helpfulness votes is relatively negative. In terms of respondersā€™ effort, both the timelines of the response and interactive feedback have a significant positive impact on helpfulness of health information votes, while these effects are negatively moderated by the online reputation of responders. This study contributes to the literature on information evaluation mechanisms in online health communities.</p

    This paper explores the feasibility of a formal legal regime for the restructuring of sovereign state debt and outlines a framework for such a mechanism. More than a decade ago, senior officials at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) proposed the creation of a formal sovereign debt restructuring mechanism (SDRM). The proposal received support, but was eventually abandoned. One factor that contributed to its demise was the unwillingness of IMF members to submit to a tribunal that would encroach on a stateā€™s sovereignty. Another determinative factor was the ultimate opposition of the United States. Likely related to that opposition, and perhaps its primary source, was the strong opposition of the private sector to the IMFā€™s SDRM proposal

    IntroductionCleft palate (CP) is one of the most common congenital birth defects in the craniofacial region, retinoic acid (RA) gavage is the most common method for inducing cleft palate model. Although several mechanisms have been proposed to illuminate RA-induced cleft palate during embryonic development, these findings are far from enough. Many efforts remain to be devoted to studying the etiology and pathogenesis of cleft palate. Recent research is gradually shifting the focus to the effect of retinoic acid on gut microbiota. However, few reports focus on the relationship between the occurrence of CP in embryos and gut microbiota.MethodsIn our research, we used RA to induce cleft palate model for E10.5 the feces of 5 RA-treated pregnant mice and 5 control pregnant mice were respectively metagenomics analysis.ResultsCompared with the control group, Lactobacillus in the gut microbiome the RA group was significantly increased. GO, KEGG and CAZy analysis of differentially unigenes demonstrated the most abundant metabolic pathway in different groups, lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis, and histidine metabolism.DiscussionOur findings indicated that changes in the maternal gut microbiome palatal development, which might be related to changes in Lactobacillus and These results provide a new direction in the pathogenesis of CP induced by RA.</p

    Frutescone Aā€“G [(<b>1</b>ā€“<b>6</b>), (+)-<b>7</b>, (āˆ’)-<b>7</b>], a new group of naturally occurring tasmanone-based meroterpenoids, were isolated from the aerial parts of <i>Baeckea frutescens</i> L. Compounds <b>1</b> and <b>4</b> featured a rare carbon skeleton with an unprecedented oxa-spiro[5.8] tetradecadiene ring system, existing as two favored equilibrating conformers in CDCl<sub>3</sub> solution, identified by variable-temperature NMR.     Influence of Self-Reported Chronic Rhinosinusitis on Health-Related Quality of Life: A Population-Based Survey

    <div><p>Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a frequently occurring chronic respiratory disease. There is evidence that effective treatment of CRS can improve patientsā€™ quality of life, but the data regarding the extent to which CRS impairs patientsā€™ quality of life (QoL) is sparse. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of self-reported CRS on health-related QoL and to determine whether the influence was associated with gender, age and socio-economic status. A four-stage random sampling method was used to select the participants from the general population in Guangzhou, China. All participants were interviewed face-to-face at their homes using a standardized questionnaire. The health-related QoL of each participant was assessed using the SF-36 Health Survey. The scores of the SF-36 after adjusting for gender, age, socioeconomic conditions, smoking and some important comorbid conditions were compared between the CRS group and the non-CRS group using analysis of covariance. A multiple linear regression model with interaction terms was established to determine whether CRS affected QoL to the same degree across the different subpopulations. Among a total of 1,411 participants aged at least 15 years, 118 persons (8.4%) had self-reported CRS. Subjects with CRS had an increased prevalence of allergic rhinitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and gout than subjects without CRS. The CRS group had lower scores in all eight domains and the physical and mental component summary than those without CRS (P<0.05), and the greatest differences were in role emotional function (RE), general health (GH) and role physical function (RP). The impairments of the CRS participants in RE and RP were greater among the females than the males. Moreover, physical domains were affected to greater degrees among the elderly and those with high-level education. In conclusion, CRS is a common chronic disorder. Persons with self-reported CRS perceived themselves as having impaired QoL in both the physical and mental domains. These findings shed new light on the health burden of CRS and should be taken into account by clinicians involved in the care of CRS patients.</p></div
