Providing Basic Needs and Encouragement as Strategies in Managing Aggression in Dementia Clients
Purpose: The experiences of caregivers in managing dementia clients with aggressive behaviour have been an issue in nursing homes. This study utilized the fact that there is no significant strategy for managing aggression effectively. The aim of the study is to explore the experiences of caregivers in managing dementia clients with aggressive behaviour in nursing home in Jakarta, Indonesia.Method: This study employed a hermeneutic phenomenological approach so that caregivers were able to explore the phenomenon of aggression by dementia residents in the nursing home. Six experienced caregivers were interviewed in this study to uncover caregivers\u27 strategies they use in managing aggression in dementia residents.Result: The findings in this study were several strategies that have been used by caregivers to manage aggressive behaviour among dementia residents in the nursing home: providing basic needs and encouragement.Conclusion: The findings suggested caregivers to implement the strategies for managing aggression in dementia residents. Due to a limited number of related studies in Indonesia, this study recommended for further research to other nursing homes in Indonesia to determine if other strategies to manage aggression exist

Fault-tolerant magic state preparation with flag qubits
Magic state distillation is one of the leading candidates for implementing
universal fault-tolerant logical gates. However, the distillation circuits
themselves are not fault-tolerant, so there is additional cost to first
implement encoded Clifford gates with negligible error. In this paper we
present a scheme to fault-tolerantly and directly prepare magic states using
flag qubits. One of these schemes uses a single extra ancilla, even with noisy
Clifford gates. We compare the physical qubit and gate cost of this scheme to
the magic state distillation protocol of Meier, Eastin, and Knill, which is
efficient and uses a small stabilizer circuit. In some regimes, we show that

Weakly Nonlinear Analysis of Electroconvection in a Suspended Fluid Film
It has been experimentally observed that weakly conducting suspended films of
smectic liquid crystals undergo electroconvection when subjected to a large
enough potential difference. The resulting counter-rotating vortices form a
very simple convection pattern and exhibit a variety of interesting nonlinear
effects. The linear stability problem for this system has recently been solved.
The convection mechanism, which involves charge separation at the free surfaces
of the film, is applicable to any sufficiently two-dimensional fluid. In this
paper, we derive an amplitude equation which describes the weakly nonlinear
regime, by starting from the basic electrohydrodynamic equations. This regime
has been the subject of several recent experimental studies. The lowest order
amplitude equation we derive is of the Ginzburg-Landau form, and describes a
forward bifurcation as is observed experimentally. The coefficients of the
amplitude equation are calculated and compared with the values independently

Full scale visualization of the wing tip vortices generated by a typical agricultural aircraft
The trajectories of the wing tip vortices of a typical agricultural aircraft were experimentally determined by flight test. A flow visualization method, similar to the vapor screen method used in wind tunnels, was used to obtain trajectory data for a range of flight speeds, airplane configurations, and wing loadings. Detailed measurements of the spanwise surface pressure distribution were made for all test points. Further, a powered 1/8 scale model of the aircraft was designed, built, and used to obtain tip vortex trajectory data under conditions similar to that of the full-scale test. The effects of light wind on the vortices were demonstrated, and the interaction of the flap vortex and the tip vortex was clearly shown in photographs and plotted trajectory data
