Struktura i uwarunkowania afektywne go komponentu postaw politycznych studentów
It is indisputable that emotions predominate in shaping political attitudes. This is corroborated by the development of political marketing, whose techniques and means are mainly directed at voters’ emotions. The paper presents the results of research into the affective component in the political attitudes of university students. To a large extent the analysis confirms the hypothesis that religious organizations have a significant impact on developing a positive emotional attitude towards right-wing politicians and parties, whereas the media strongly influence the emergence of similar attitudes towards liberal political entities. Advocates of the right wing declare their commitment to national values and patriotism, while demonstrating a relatively passive attitude to politics. The respondents whose opinions indicate liberal sympathies emphasize their satisfaction with life and intention to be active in the field of politics. The important conclusion to be drawn from this research is that the family contin- ues to have a significant impact on the emotional political attachments of the young, whereas the influence of school in this regard is definitely limited. It is indisputable that emotions predominate in shaping political attitudes. Prezentowany tekst stanowi zmodyfikowaną wersję wystąpienia wygłoszonego podczas międzynarodowej konferencji “Religion, identity and life courses”, zorganizowanej przez Institute for the Studies of Religion in Central and Eastern Europe (ISORECA). Mitologizacja katastrofy smoleńskiej . Między spontanicznością a polityczną kalkulacją
The phenomenon of myth is characteristic for all human communities, regardless of their cultural diversity and historical moment. The things that make the myth are the needs that it satisfies and features that it meets. The concept of the myth can not be used to determine the truth or to deny the phenomenon, because for his followers it is always true. Compliance with the facts and the reality in case of discussion is secondary. One could say that the myth is defined by the function it performs in the political life and in consciousness. In this article the authors focused on thinking, perception and organization of knowledge about the presidential plane crash. Since the tragedy “the 10th of April” has become indelible a source of metaphysical questions and the answer to them can only be found in the mythological order (by reference to the unconditional realities). Considerations presented in this article refer to the mythical qualities of consciousness described by Ernst Cassirer, including the role of the emotional factor, perception of time and space, the search for ritual “scapegoat”, the specific treatment of causality, thinking according to the principle of post hoc ergo poster hoc, pars pro toto
