Analysis of the Lovemarks Concept in Sport Industry
Import 05/08/2014Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou konceptu lovemarks ve sportovním průmyslu. Práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části, na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny pojmy nutné k pochopení dané problematiky. V praktické části byla pomocí metody dotazníkového šetření provedena analýza konceptu lovemarks. V závěrečné části jsou shrnuty výsledky šetření a doporučení.Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the lovemarks concept in sport industry. The thesis is structured into two fundamental sections, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical section are defined terms, which are necessary to understand given issue. Práticas de literacia familiar em benguela (angola): Um estudo exploratório.
As investigações mostram que a aprendizagem da linguagem escrita começa muito
antes do ensino formal e que as práticas e o ambiente de literacia familiar influenciam a literacia
emergente e o desenvolvimento da linguagem escrita. Mas, se estes estudos são desenvolvidos no
Ocidente, em África pouco se tem feito e em Angola não se conhece nenhum estudo. Com base nos
estudos existentes, em diversos contextos culturais, verifica-se que a literacia familiar existe,
podendo as práticas variar no tipo e frequência uma vez que o que se passa num contexto, pode não
ser igual ao que se passa noutra realidade cultural diferente. Neste sentido este trabalho, procura
caraterizar as práticas e o ambiente familiar de literacia em 11 famílias de Benguela com um filho a
frequentar o início da escolaridade. Os dados foram recolhidos através de uma entrevista informal
aos pais. Os resultados mostram que as práticas de literacia familiar são essencialmente práticas
formais, muito ligadas à escola e às tarefas escolares. No mesmo sentido verificámos que a
responsabilidade pela aprendizagem da linguagem escrita é atribuída à escola, e a explicadores.
Apesar de surgirem algumas referências do uso da literacia associado a práticas religiosas, poucas
referências foram feitas a práticas informais ou lúdicas. Foi clara a quase inexistência de materiais
de leitura (jornais, livros, revistas) para além dos escolares. A falta de tempo, a escassez de
bibliotecas públicas e livrarias, a falta dos recursos financeiras para aquisição do material de literacia

Tuning Structure–Function Properties of π‑Conjugated Superstructures by Redox-Assisted Self-Assembly

assemblies that feature stacks of π-conjugated building blocks
represents an important challenge to engineer optoelectronic materials.
In this regard, the development of new tools to navigate the free
energy landscape of supramolecular assembly can lead to the creation
of kinetically trapped superstructures equipped with emergent electronic
properties. In the present contribution, we demonstrate that redox-assisted
self-assembly of supramolecular polymers built from water-soluble
perylene diimide enforces formation of superstructures with optoelectronic
properties not manifested in parent assemblies. Leveraging on a theoretical
model developed for H-aggregates in semiconducting polymers, free-exciton
bandwidth has been calculated and increases by more than 30% in kinetically
trapped superstructures (380 meV) when compared to initially prepared
assemblies (290 meV). Electronic structure of intermediate assemblies
is believed to perturb intermolecular interactions that regulate the
conformation of initially prepared architectures. In addition to offering
a means to modulate superstructure electronic properties, intermediate
states can be further manipulated by thermal treatment to enable the
formation of hierarchical nano-to-mesoscale materials. Investigation
of their solid-state morphologies using atomic force microscopy reveals
long aspect ratio nanowires spanning micro-to-mesoscale dimensions.
Such morphological changes combined with novel electronic properties
indicate that structure–function properties of supramolecular
constructs can be modulated by redox-assisted self-assembly

Organic thin-film transistors with over 10 cm<sup>2</sup>/Vs mobility through low-temperature solution coating
<p>Recent studies on organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) have reported high mobility values, but many of them showed non-ideal current–voltage characteristics that could lead to the overestimation of the mobility values. In this study, the non-ideal transistor behavior was briefly investigated by considering the effect of charge injection, and a method of overcoming the effect was developed. Correspondingly, various charge injection layers were developed, and their effects on the modification of metal contacts, including work function tuning and interfacial doping, were studied. The materials that had been coated formed a good metal-semiconductor interface through fine manipulation in the wetting and dewetting of the selected liquid. With such electrodes, the OTFTs were fabricated at room temperature and exhibited almost ideal transistor behavior in terms of the current–voltage characteristics, featuring high (over 10 cm<sup>2</sup>/Vs) field-effect mobility.</p

Treatment patterns and healthcare resource utilization in patients with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer and nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer in China: a real-world observational study
This study assessed the treatment patterns, healthcare resource utilization (HRU), costs, and annual prevalence and incidence of metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC) and nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC) in China. A retrospective study was conducted using electronic medical records (EMR) of patients with prostate cancer from three tertiary-care hospitals in China between January 2014 and March 2021. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze study outcomes. In total, 1086 patients with mHSPC and 679 patients with nmCRPC were included. From 2015 to 2020, the annual percentage of prevalent and incident cases of mHSPC decreased from 22.4% to 20.0% and 11.1% to 6.9%, respectively; for nmCRPC, these increased from 3.8% to 13.6% and 3.3% to 8.4%. Androgen-deprivation therapy and first-generation antiandrogens (bicalutamide or flutamide) were the most frequently prescribed prostate cancer–related medications at baseline and follow-up in patients with mHSPC. Bicalutamide was the most frequently prescribed prostate cancer–related medication during follow-up in patients with nmCRPC. For mHSPC, inpatient admission costs were the highest, with the median (interquartile range) costs per person-month being USD 403.00 (USD 85.50–1226.20), whereas outpatient visit costs were the highest for nmCRPC (USD 372.60 [USD 139.50–818.50]). EMR-based study design did not capture treatment patterns, HRU and associated costs, and healthcare encounters that occurred outside of participating hospitals, which could have led to underestimation of the true disease burden. A contrasting trend of a decline in the prevalence and incidence of mHSPC and an increase in these for nmCRPC was observed between 2015 and 2020 in China. Androgen-deprivation therapy and first-generation antiandrogens were the most frequently prescribed prostate cancer–related medications. Healthcare resource utilization was driven by inpatient costs in mHSPC and outpatient costs in nmCRPC.</p
