CONFLICT OF AQUATIC RESOURCES AND ITS UNDERLYING CAUSES: A CASE STUDY FROM DONAN RIVER AREA, SEGARA ANAKAN REGION, CILACAP, CENTRAL JAVA
This research aimed to know internally conflict on the use of aquatic resources at around Donan River, Segara Anakan region Cilacap. Using on fisheries resources was not free against potential conflict among the user or with its interest’s one related to that resources. The lack on capability of identified conflict would be a limiting factor for the implementation on the fisheries resources management program. The research was hold in the region of Segara Anakan, Donan River from August until October 2005. The data collection techniques applied in this survey included questionnaire; observation; in-depth interview with leaders of fisherman organizations; and focus group discussion. Quantitative data was analyzed by descriptive statistics. The research showed that fisherman’s community along Donan River line were not out of inside potentially conflict among inter micro-micro, intra micro-micro and intra micro-macro. This potential conflict were appeared because of presence on the different perception belong to its authority access against Donan River and their open system on the fisheries resources management.Keywords : Conflict, Donan River, Aquatic Resources, Fisherman Communit
Influence Durian Leaves (Durio zibethinus) Infusion as Natural Anesthesia of Striped Catfish Juvenile (Pangasius sp.)
The use of anesthesia in the process of living fish transportation is an effort in keeping the physiology of fish alive and healthy to the destination. Durian leaves are one of the natural ingredients that can be used as fish anesthesia. The purpose of this research is to know the effective concentration of infusum durian leaves as anesthetic seeds of patin fish based on inductive time, sedative time and survival rate. Experimental studies use complete randomized designs, four treatments and threefold. The treatment of infusum concentrations of durian leaves 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%. The time when fish begins to faint when inserted into the anesthesia solution is recorded as inductive time, whereas the time the fish began to recover back or knowingly recorded as a sedative time. The survival calculation is done on the number of fish surviving post-anesthesia with maintenance for 3 days. The results of this study showed that the effective concentration gained was 10%, with the inductive time (71.67 minutes) distinct from the apparent 20% concentration, but no apparent difference with the concentration of 30% and 40%. Meanwhile, the sedative time (0.25 minutes) differs from the concentration of 40%, but does not differ with concentrations of 20% and 30%. The survival rate of the fish seed Patin at a concentration of 10% showed real distinct results and reached 100%. Infusum concentration of durian leaves by 10% is an effective concentration in the anesthetic process of patin fish seeds
PENDAMPINGAN PENERAPAN GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTISE (GMP) PADA UMKM KERIPIK TEMPE 27, GENTAWANGI, JATILAWANG, BANYUMAS

ABSTRACT
Tempe 27 chips are a product of partner Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Â from Gentawangi Village, RT 02 RW 06, Jatilawang sub-district, Banyumas district. The type of tempe chips produced by partner SME is sago tempe chips. The problems faced by partner SME include that the production equipment used is still simple and has not yet implemented Good Processed Food Production Methods (CPPOB) or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The solutions offered to partner SME are public education and the diffusion of science and technology through training and mentoring in the application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The aim is to increase the knowledge, skills and awareness of SME to reach 100% regarding the implementation of GMP. The methods used are community education, science and technology diffusion, mediation, advocacy and participation from SME partner in community service activities. The result of the community service program related to assisting in the implementation of GMP is that there is an increase in understanding and awareness of the importance of GMP from partner SME actors. This is shown by the high motivation of partner SME and their willingness to independently improve, equip and organize tempe chip production facilities and infrastructure so that they comply with GMP principles.

Keripik Tempe 27 adalah produk UMKM mitra yang berasal dari Desa Gentawangi RT 02 RW 06 kecamatan Jatilawang, kabupaten Banyumas. Jenis keripik tempe yang diproduksi oleh UMKM mitra adalah keripik tempe sagu. Permasalahan yang dihadapi UMKM mitra diantaranya alat produksi yang digunakan masih sederhana dan belum menerapkan Cara Produksi Pangan Olahan yang Baik (CPPOB) atau Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP). Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk UMKM mitra adalah pendidikan masyarakat dan difusi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan penerapan Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP). Tujuannya adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kesadaran UMKM mencapai 100 % terkait penerapan GMP. Metode yang dilakukan adalah pendidikan masyarakat, difusi iptek, mediasi, advokasi dan partisipasi dari UMKM mitra pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Hasil dari program pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan pendampingan penerapan GMP ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran pentingnya GMP dari pelaku UMKM mitra. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh tingginya motivasi UMKM mitra dan kesediaan secara swadaya untuk memperbaiki, melengkapi dan menata sarana dan prasarana produksi keripik tempe agar sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip GMP.

Pengaruh Lama Waktu Perendaman Telur dalam Larutan Hormon Tiroksin (T4) Terhadap Daya Tetas, Pertumbuhan dan Kelangsungan Hidup Larva Ikan Gurami (Osphronemus gouramy)
The thyroxine hormone is a hormone that can reduce high mortality and increase fish growth. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of long immersion time in the thyroxine hormone solution and a good time to increase hatching rate, growth and survival rate of Gourami larvae. The method used was a laboratory experiment with a completely randomized design. Treatment of egg immersion time in thyroxine hormone solution with a dose of 0.1 mg / L, namely 0, 8, 16, 24 and 32 hours. Each treatment was carried out three replications. The results of the study indicated that the immersion time did not affect hatching rate, but it did affect the length growth and survival of gourami larvae (O. gouramy). The good immersion time is 16-24 hours with hatching rate values 97.67-99.00%, absolute length growth of 6.50-6.92 mm, relative length growth of 4.93-5.25%, and survival rate of 91.26-92.15%.Hormon tiroksin merupakan hormon yang mampu menurunkan tingginya mortalitas dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama waktu perendaman telur dalam larutan hormon tiroksin dan waktu yang baik untuk meningkatkan daya tetas, pertumbuhan, dan kelangsungan hidup larva gurami. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen di laboratorium dengan rancangan acak lengkap. Perlakuan lama waktu perendaman telur dalam larutan hormon tiroksin dengan dosis 0.1 mg/L yaitu 0, 8, 16, 24 dan 32 jam. Tiap perlakuan dilakukan tiga ulangan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lama waktu perendaman tidak berpengaruh terhadap daya tetas, namun berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan panjang dan kelangsungan hidup larva gurami (O. gouramy). Lama waktu perendaman terbaik adalah 16 - 24 jam dengan nilai daya tetas 97.67 - 99.00%, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 6.50 - 6.92 mm, pertumbuhan panjang relatif 4.93 - 5.25 %, dan kelangsungan hidup sebesar 91.26 - 92.15 %
Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pendapatan Usaha Pembenihan Ikan Gurami (Osphronemus Gouramy) di Hatchery Sri Utama
Ikan Gurami (Osphronemus gouramy) merupakan ikan hasil budidaya air tawar yang digemari dan memiliki nilai ekonomis penting. Dalam hal ini, Pokdakan Sri Utama berperan sebagai sentra usaha pembenihan Ikan Gurami. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh faktor produksi dan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan usaha pembenihan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam secara sensus kepada 34 responden. Selanjutnya data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan SPSS Versi 25. Hasil uji-t (parsial) dalam penelitian menunjukkan variabel luas kolam dan bibit berpengaruh secara signifikan sedangkan pakan dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh tidak secara signifikan terhadap pendapatan. Berdasarkan hasil uji-F (simultan) diperoleh nilai sebesar 19,794 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Secara bersama-sama pendapatan dipengaruhi oleh luas kolam, pakan, bibit, dan tenaga kerja sebesar 73,2%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi diperoleh nilai koefisien variabel luas kolam, pakan, bibit dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh secara positif terhadap pendapatan. Untuk rata-rata pendapatan yang diterima oleh pembudidaya ikan di Sri Utama setiap bulannya sebesar Rp 4.405.000. Saran yang dapat diambil berdasarkan hasil temuan ini adalah perlu adanya pembudidayaan cacing sutera (tubifex sp.) sebagai pakan utama. Selain itu hendaknya ada penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai pola distribusi dan kualitas air di Pokdakan Sri Utama

Phytoplankton diversity and abundance in biofloc cultivation of African catfish with different stock density
High fish stock density causes a decrease in water quality due to increased organic waste in water media and this can be overcame using biofloc technology. The bacterial consortium in the biofloc system breaks the organic compound into nutrients for phytoplankton growth. This research aims to determine phytoplankton abundance in biofloc ponds with different catfish stocking densities. Furthermore, a completely randomized design (CRD) was used, with four treatments and three replications. The treatments involved 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, and 2,500 catfish per m3, respectively, with a weight of ± 1-3 grams. Also, the fish was fed 3% of its body weight and reared for 40 days in a tarpaulin pond, with a water volume of ± 1,974 L. The AMOVA test was used to analyze the data and 10 phytoplankton genera were observed. However, the phytoplankton abundances showed no statistical significance among the treatments. Pengaruh Pemberian Hormon Recombinant Growth Hormone (rGH) Terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan Ikan Patin (Pangasius pangasius)
 ABSTRAKIkan Patin (Pangasius pangasius) saat ini merupakan komoditas perikanan air tawar yang cukup digemari dan memiliki nilai ekonomi yang relatif tinggi di Indonesia. Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam budidaya ikan Patin adalah pertumbuhannya yang lambat. Penambahan rGH menjadi salah satu teknologi yang dapat membantu pertumbuhan ikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Recombinant Growth Hormone (rGH) melalui metode oral dengan interval waktu berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, pertumbuhan berat mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, rasio konversi pakan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan Patin (Pangasius pangasius). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu, Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dengan dosis penambahan rGH 2 mg/kg pakan. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu pakan tanpa rGH (P0); pakan dengan tambahan kuning telur (P1); pakan yang mengandung rGH dengan interval waktu pemberian 3 hari (P2); 4 hari (P3); dan 5 hari (P4). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian pakan yang mengandung rGH dengan interval waktu 3 hari menunjukan hasil yang terbaik, dengan nilai pertambahan panjang mutlak 1,31±0,05 cm, pertambahan berat mutlak 5,17±0,03 gr, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 2,61±0,01%, rasio konversi pakan 1,06±0,01, dan kelangsungan hidup 90,00±0,00%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemberian Recombinant Growth Hormone (rGH) melalui metode oral dengan interval waktu berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, pertumbuhan berat mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, dan rasio konversi pakan. Namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup ikan Patin (P. pangasius)
Efektivitas Infusum Daun Durian (Durio zibethinus) Sebagai Anestesi Alami Ikan Lele (Clarias gariepinus)
Artificial or natural anesthetic ingredients are needed in the transportation of live fish, because fish must be physiologically alive and healthy to their destination. Durian leaf is one of the natural ingredients that can be used as anesthetics in transport because it contains secondary metabolites such as saponins, tannins and flavonoids. The purpose of this study was to determine the effective concentration of durian leaf infusion as catfish anesthesia during transportation on induction and sedative time, blood glucose profile and survival rate. Fish with an average weight of 185,62 ± 9,06 g in 3 L of water with different concentrations of durian leaf anesthetics are used to determine the status of fish fainting. A complete randomized design (CRD) with four treatments (5%, 15%, 25%, and 35% durian leaf infusion concentrations) and three replications were applied in this study. The results of this study indicated that the best concentration obtained was 35%, with an inductive time of 9 min.19 sec. and a sedative time of 1 min.42 sec. The survival rate of catfish in the best treatment was 88.89%, with a blood glucose level of 63.23 mg/dL.Bahan anestesi buatan atau alami sangat dibutuhkan dalam transportasi ikan hidup, karena ikan secara fisiologi harus tetap hidup dan sehat sampai tempat tujuan. Daun durian adalah merupakan salah satu bahan alami yang dapat digunakan sebagai anetesi dalam transport karena mengandung mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder seperti saponin, tanin dan flavonoid. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui konsentrasi efektif infusum daun durian sebagai anestesi ikan lele terhadap waktu induksi dan sedatif, profil glukosa darah dan sintasan. Ikan dengan berat rataan 185,62 ± 9,06 g dalam 3 L air dengan konsentrasi bahan anestesi daun durian yang berbeda digunakan untuk mengetahui status pingsan ikan. Rancangan acak lengkap dengan empat perlakuan (konsentrasi infusum daun durian 5%, 15%, 25%, dan 35%.) dan tiga ulangan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi terbaik yang diperoleh adalah 35%, dengan waktu induktif 9 menit-19 detik dan waktu sedatif 1 menit-42 detik. Sintasan ikan lele pada perlakuan terbaik sebesar 88.89%, dengan kadar glukosa darah sebesar 63,23 mg/dL
Growth performance of African catfish Clarias gariepinus cultured in biofloc system at high stocking density
ABSTRACT This study was aimed to analyze the growth performance of African catfish Clarias gariepinus cultured in the biofloc system at high stocking density. African catfish with an average weight of 1.85±0.09 g were cultured in four units of tarpaulin tank at a diameter of 1.72 m and a height of 1.05 m with a volume of ±2,000 L at the different density of 1,000 fish/m3; 1,500 fish/m3; 2,000 fish/m3; 2,500 fish/m3. During rearing period, fish were given the artificial feed with protein contents of 28.75% with the frequency of twice a day, as much as 3% of the body weight. The results showed that different treatment of high stocking density in the biofloc system had a significant effect on the absolute growth rate, lipid retention and energy retention (P<0.05) but not significant effect on daily growth rate. The results showed that the highest lipid retention and energy retention were found in the group of fish treated at a stocking density of 2,500 fish/m3 but declining protein retention and growth in fish occurred. The highest absolute growth rate and daily growth rate were shown by treatment with a stocking density of 1,500 fish/m3. Keywords: growth, stocking density, biofloc   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performa pertumbuhan ikan lele dumbo Clarias gariepinus yang dipelihara pada sistem bioflok dengan padat penebaran tinggi. Ikan uji memiliki berat rata-rata 1,85±0,09 g yang dipelihara pada kolam terpolin berdiameter 1,72 m dan tinggi 1,05 m dengan volume air ±2.000 L sebanyak empat unit dengan kepadatan yang berbeda yaitu 1.000 ekor/m3, 1.500 ekor/m3, 2.000 ekor/m3, 2.500 ekor/m3. Selama 40 hari masa pemeliharaan, ikan diberi pakan buatan berkadar protein 28,75% dengan frekwensi dua kali sehari, sebanyak 3% dari berat tubuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan perbedaan padat penebaran tinggi pada sistem bioflok memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan mutlak, retensi lemak dan retensi energi (P<0,05) namun tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap laju pertmbuhan harian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi padat penebaran terjadinya peningkatan retensi lemak dan retensi energi yaitu pada perlakuan padat penebaran 2.500 ekor/m3 tetapi terjadi penurunan nilai retensi protein dan pertumbuhan pada ikan. Nilai pertumbuhan mutlak tertinggi ditunjukkan oleh perlakuan dengan padat penebaran 1.500 ekor/m3.    Kata kunci: pertumbuhan, padat tebar, bioflok</p
