Does sports performance influence revenues and economic results in Spanish football?

English football began taking steps towards becoming a business earlier than Spanish football did, and academic studies on the football industry to date also focus primarily on football in the UK. The evidence for the relationship between sports performance and revenues appear clear in English football. There is even research about the effects of a club’s wealth on its sports performance, or the effects of a club’s sporting situations on its finances. In this paper, we ana-lyse the relationship between sports performance and the revenues of football clubs as well as the effect of sports performance on the financial results in Spanish professional football. In order to carry out this research we have had to select which variables to analyse and choose the most appropriate methods of measurement. Dealing with missing data under stratified sampling designs where strata are study domains

A quick count seeks to estimate the voting trends of an election and communicate them to the population on the evening of the same day of the election. In quick counts, the sampling is based on a stratified design of polling stations. Voting information is gathered gradually, often with no guarantee of obtaining the complete sample or even information in all the strata. However, accurate interval estimates with partial information must be obtained. Furthermore, this becomes more challenging if the strata are additionally study domains. To produce partial estimates, two strategies are proposed: 1) A Bayesian model using a dynamic post-stratification strategy and a single imputation process defined after a thorough analysis of historic voting information. Additionally, a credibility level correction is included to solve the underestimation of the variance; 2) a frequentist alternative that combines standard multiple imputation ideas with classic sampling techniques to obtain estimates under a missing information framework. Objetivos financieros y deportivos en la eficiencia del fútbol europeo

El objetivo del presente estudio es medir la eficiencia de los principales equipos europeos considerando los objetivos financieros y deportivos, por lo que se utilizan el beneficio y el coeficiente UEFA como outputs. Un modelo alternativo es presentado bajo la premisa de la maximización de los resultados deportivos y la minimización de las pérdidas financieras. Los resultados muestran un amplio margen de mejora, especialmente en la gestión financiera.The goal of this study is to measure the efficiency of the major European football teams under financial and win objectives using profits and UEFA coefficient as outputs. Football, corporate ownership, and conflicts of interest: Dark spaces and black boxes

In recent years, the literature on football and accounting has focused on some opaque spaces in the ownership of football clubs, as well as in the definition of collaboration and commercial partnership mechanisms that, even in the case of larger clubs, are at times misrepresented in financial reports (Chadwick et al., 2018; Sudgen et al., 2017; Holzen et al., 2019). Our paper describes the case of Italy and its main relevance lies in that spectrum of analysis; in effect, the strictly familial nature of Italian capitalism clearly emerges in the case of football, as well. The clubs are controlled by influential entrepreneurial families (often operating in the entertainment industry) who through football consolidate their image. Put in these terms, the risks of conflicts of interest and opacity in commercial formulas, already highlighted by the best and recent literature, are reflected in a system of economic and meta/non-economic returns in which the object \u201cfootball\u201d becomes an instrument of social recognition and financial growth via indirect mechanisms

Presencia de las emociones en el área de Educación Física en la etapa de Educación Primaria

La educación emocional es el trabajo para alcanzar el desarrollo integral del alumno mediante la adquisición de conocimientos y habilidades sobre las emociones, haciéndoles capaces de afrontar mejor los retos de la vida cotidiana. De esta forma, conseguiremos que el alumnado se asiente en un ambiente más feliz, relajado, tranquilo, relacionándose emocionalmente con los demás. Con esta investigación, buscamos conocer cuáles son las emociones que los alumnos de Educación Primaria presencian en el aula de Educación Física y como estas modifican nuestro ambiente de clase. Nos centraremos en conocer más a nuestros alumnos creando de esta forma un fuerte vínculo emocional. Tanto en el sentir desde el punto de vista docente como de la propia experiencia del alumnado, se destaca un clima predominantemente positivo.Grado en Educación Primari

The spectrum of the power graph of a cyclic p−p-group and some characteristics of an orthogonal graph in an indefinite metric space

In this paper, among other results we find the spectrum of the power graph of a finite cyclic $p-$group, we show that the spectrum of the combinatorial Laplacian of the power graph of a finite group $P(G)$ has exactly $n-1$ positive eigenvalues being $n$ the order of the group $G$, for this the basic concepts of group theory are included, certain theorems that support this study, the concept of graph, the essential results of graph theory, algebraic theory of graph and finally the concept of power graph of a finite group, which was presented for the first time in \cite{Chakrabarty}. Finally, a characterization of the orthogonal graph of an indefinite metric space is made, which was introduced by the researchers in this article

El planteamiento de Parque Parcelas del Tunjuelito, es una propuesta que parte de la problemática en la demanda existente de espacios para la recreación y el deporte en la ciudad de Bogotá. Hongos endófitos epichloë asociados a lolium perenne: identificación y producción de alcaloides

[ES] El raigrás perenne (Lolium perenne) frecuentemente se encuentra en simbiosis con hongos endófitos del género Epichloë que le confiere resistencia a estreses bióticos y abióticos a través de la producción de alcaloides. Aunque el endófito habita en la parte aérea puede promover cambios fisiológicos que influyen en la dinámica nutrimental de la planta. Con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de Epichloë en L. perene de origen silvestre, se realizó un estudio exploratorios en 378 plantas provenientes de ocho localidades diferentes del oeste de España. Se observó una incidencia promedio de 38%, con presencia de tres morfotipos (M1, M2; M3) en plantas asintomáticas, y un cuarto grupos (M2S) en plantas con estromas. Se encontró una relación entre el contenido de alcaloides y el morfotipo del endófito. La mayor concentración de peramina, lolitrem B, y ergovalina, se detectó en plantas infectadas respectivamente con M2S, M3, y M1. Las plantas con Epichloë tuvieron menor concentración de P, Ca, S, B, fibra neutro detergente y lignina, y mayor contenidos de Mn y mejor digestibilidad que las plantas no infectadas. Adicionalmente, se desarrolló una técnica de inoculación de raigrás perenne con endófitos Epichloë, la cual consistió en colocar semillas de las plantas en colonias del hongo creciendo en un medio de cultivo. Se consiguieron tasas infección de 22% con M2 y M2S, de 2.8% con M3, y no se logró infectar ninguna planta con M1. Además, a través del uso de la quimiometría y de espectroscopia NIR fue posible identificar 93.3% de la plantas infectadas, agrupar las muestras de acuerdo con la especie de sus endófitos (M1 y M3 = E. festucae var. lolii; M2= E. typhina); detectar 94.4% de las plantas con peramina, 87.5% de las plantas con lolitrem y en 92.9% con ergovalina; y generar ecuaciones precisas para la cuantificación de peramina y ergovalina
