    Keterampilan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru

    Manajerial Kepala sekolah merupakan hal yang harus dilakukan secara terencana dan kontinyu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan manajerial Kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 6 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tehnik pengumpulan data di lakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian adalah Kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Kemampuan manajerial Kepala sekolah dalam menyusun program perencanaan dirumuskan oleh Kepala sekolah dinilai baik. (2) Strategi yang dilakukan Kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan kinerja guru, kemampuan profesional guru telah dilakukan antara lain : membimbing guru dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran, menerapkan berbagai model pembelajaran, memberikan motivasi, mengikutsertakan guru dalam pelatihan dan memberikan kesempatan guru untuk melanjutkan studi. (3) Proses pembinaan yang dilakukan oleh Kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru akan tampak adanya perubahan sikap guru guru yang mengarah kepada perubahan yang lebih baik. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam upaya peningkatan kemampuan profesional guru antara lain menyangkut masalah terbatasnya sumber daya manusia dalam peningkatan kemampuan profesional guru.     Abstract This study aims to analyze the effect of knowledge, skills and abilities on the performance of the Eceng Gondok ISMB (Independent Micro Small Business) employees in Tuntang Regency. In this study the data used are primary data or questionnaires. The results showed that together there was a positive and significant influence of knowledge, skills and abilities on the performance of ISMB Eceng Gondok employees in Tuntang Regency. Dalam penelitian ini data yang digunakan adalah data primer atau kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Disperindag, sedangkan komunikasi berpemgaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jawa Tengah.     ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN DIMENSI UMKM POTENSIAL DAN MODEL STIMULAN BAGI UMKM DI INDUSTRI BATIK PEKALONGAN JAWA TENGAH

    Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) are building the economy of Indonesia, which accounted for nearly 95% of the number of businesses in Indonesia with the majority classified as household industries. Viewed in terms of quantity of UMKM is reasonable if it has great contribution in the national economy. The present study is oriented to the discovery of quality grade formulation of UMKM, UMKM regroupping which is based on the real problems faced by UMKM and the findings of the initial effective stimulant for the development of UMKM. The object of research conducted in Pekalongan batik centers, with the number of respondents were 58 UMKM. Data collection techniques with menggukan survey through questionnaires with open-ended questions, and with interviews with respondents. The results showed that the respondents (UMKM Batik Pekalongan) grouped into three categories of four health categories of UMKM, namely: (1) 2 UMKM included in category A (excellent), 36 UMKM included in category B (good) and 15 UMKM included in the category C (pretty good). In addition, this study also found regroupping UMKM in accordance with health (quality grade) and the specific problems faced by UMKM. Other research results obtained are formulated type of initial effective stimulant and also as a starting point for further research stage, in order to be validated and adapted to the UMKM contextually targeted to be more effective.     ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR DALAM PENERAPAN TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT DAN HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN STUDI EMPIRIS PADA PT. PUPUK SRIWIJAYA PALEMBANG

    Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor dalam penerapan Total Quality Management berdasarkan pada Deming Management Method (Anderson et al., 1994 dan Karuppan et al., 1996). Dalam penelitian ini dianalisis hubungan simultan variable-variabel dalam Total Quality Management, yaitu : visionary leadership, employee empowerment, learning, process management, continuous improvement, employee fulfillment, dan employee satisfaction. Model yang digunakan dikembangkan dari model penelitian Andrson et al., 1994 dan Karuppan et al., 1996. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 110 responden yang terdiri dari karyawan PT. Pupuk Sriwijaya yang bertindak selaku supervisor dari lima departemen utama, yaitu Departemen Produksi, Departemen Keuangan, Departemen Litbang, Departeman Teknik dan Rekayasa, dan Departemen Komersial. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) yang di aplikasikan dengan komputer. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara visionary leadership dengan employee empowerment; visionary leadership dengan learning; employee empowerment dengan process management; learning dengan process management; process management dengan continuous improvement; process management dengan employee fulfillment; continuous improvement dengan employee satisfaction, dan employee fulfillment; dengan employee satisfaction. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa manajemen perusahaan telah mampu menjelaskan visi dari kualitas secara total, didukung dengan keterlibatan karyawan dan adanya proses pembelajaran sehingga mendukung manajemen proses. Dengan diperhatikannya kualitas kondis! kerja perusahaan, maka karyawan akan merasa kebutuhannya terpenuhi sehingga tercapai kepuasan diantara seluruh anggota perusahaan. lmplikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya komitmen pimpinan perusahaan dalam membentuk kondisi kerja yang mendukung berdasarkan pada faktor-faktor yang berperan dalam keberhasilan penerapan TQM. Which is acted as the supervisor of five main departments, Namely Production Departement, Finance Departement, Research and Development Departement, Technique and Engineering Departement, and Commerce Departement. The observer use Structural Equation Model (SEM) as the data analysis, Which is going to the applicate in computer. The result shows that there is a positive relationship between Visionary Leadership, Employee Empowerment, Learning, Process Management, Continuous Improvement, Employee Fulfillment, And Employee Satisfaction. The result shows that the company management is totally able to explain the vision of quality. It is supported with the involvement of the employee and learning process; therefore it can be used as the support means for management process. Full attention is given to the company work condition quality, Thus employee will feel that their needs is main tained. Therefore the employee satisfaction will be reached. The implication of this study is that there is a necessary commitment of the company leader to from the approprioriate work condition based on the important factors to achieve the successful of TQM application

    Abstract—Religiosity is closely associated with religious activities; not only performing rituals (worship) but also on other activities. Religiosity can predict how a person's work performance is. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of religiosity of a person through five dimensions; ritual, ideological, intellectual, experience and the dimension of consequences, and to analyse religiosity’s effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The analytical tool used to test the effect of research variables is multiple linear analysis. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive analysis with teachers in foundation of Roudlotus Saidiyyah in Semarang as respondents. The study shows no effect of the ritual dimension (X1), the ideological dimension (X2), the intellectual dimension (X3), and the dimension of experience (X4) on OCB, while the dimensions of the consequences (X5) has a considerable influence on OCB.     ABSTRACT Improved performance of the entrepreneur need to do to optimize their work, where the performance is determined by the ability to manage intellectual property in controlling emotions in interaction with others and the level of spiritual intelligence. This study aimed to analyze the influence of Intellectual Intelligence, Spiritual Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence in Improving entrepreneur Performance at Central Java. Researchers deploy the questionnaire by 90 exemplar according to population size. Of the 90 exemplar questionnaires distributed, 75 of them returned from 75 questionnaires returned only 71 were complete and worth analyzing. Regression Analysis with SPSS 17.0 for windows used to test the significance of the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable and test the research model.     The traders assume that the packaging is the sixth factor after “4P” price, place, product, and promotion. It means that product packaging has important role in marketing the products of the  company.  Based on this problem the research tries to explore it by proposing the problem how the influence of product packaging with the variable of visibility, emotional appeal, informastiom, and workability to the purchasing decision and the most dominant variable. In this research the researcher applied the quantitative research method. The samples uses in this research are accidental sampling taken at the Ada Swalayan Bulu Semarang. The instruments of the analysis uses in this research are double linear regression. The hypothesis is examined by determination co-ofecion, F examine (simultaneous examine) t examine (partial examine). The result of the analysis shows the variable of visibility,emotional appeal, information, and workability have significance influence to the purchasing decision. It is proved by high f account > F table (12,502 > 3, 94) with the probability value (0,000) < 0, 05. Partially the result of the analysis shows the variable of  visibility (X1) indicates 2,56, emotional appeal(X2) indicates 1,76, information (X3) indicate 2,074 and workability (X4) indicates 2.283. Visibility, Information and workability gives significance influence the purchasing decisionand  shows that the variable of visibility have domination to purchasing decision.
