The purpose of this study was to identify and evaluate the prevalence of Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria that attack African catfish to in Aceh Besar district with the microbiological test. This study was conducted on March 2016. Samples were collected from the District recorded have African catfish fish in Aceh Besar district, namely the Baitussalam District. Observations conducted in the laboratory of Bacteria Quarantine Fish Quality Control and Safety of Fishery Class 1 Aceh. This study used a descriptive analytic and the conventional method where the sampling was done by a stratified random sampling method. Further, bacteria was isolated, the morphological of bacteria were observeted, pure cultures included Gram staining, catalase test, test oxidase, biochemical tests include tests Triple Sugar Iron Agar (TSIA), test Lysine Iron Agar (LIA), test citrate, test urea, test Oxidation / fermentative (O/F), Methyl Red test Vogue Proskuer (MRVP), carbohydrate fermentation test, test Motility Indol Ornithine (MIO)and the reading of the identification results were conducted. The result showed that three samples of African catfishfrom concrete pond, were positive infected with 100% prevalance attacked byAeromonas hydrophila. Selanjutnya dilakukan isolasi bakteri, pengamatan morfologi, kultur murni meliputi uji Gram, uji katalase, uji oksidase, uji biokimia meliputi uji Triple Sugar Iron Agar (TSIA), uji Lysine Iron Agar (LIA), uji sitrat, uji urea, uji Oksidasi/Fermentatif (O/F), uji Methyl Red Vogue Proskuer (MRVP), uji fermentasi karbohidrat, uji Motility Indol Ornithin (MIO), dan pembacaan hasil identifikasi.
Teaching Reading Comprehension of Descriptive Text by Using Semantic Mapping
This research entitled Teaching Reading Comprehension of Descriptive text by Using Semantic Mapping. The purposes of this research are to find out the teaching learning process by using semantic mapping technique and how the technique improves students' ability on descriptive text. This research conducted by using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The researcher used observation table, field note and measurement test as tools of data collecting. This research conducted to 32 students of SMP Walisongo Pontianak. The result showed that the learning process of reading comprehension of descriptive text by using semantic mapping has run as the procedures. The students and teacher played their roles pretty well in first cycle and better in the second cycle. This technique has improved students' ability in comprehending descriptive text. The improvements are comprehension of details information, words reference and vocabulary on the text
Population Structure And Morphometry Of Horseshoe Crab Carcinoscorpius Rotundicauda, Latreille 1802 In Kampung Gisi Coastal Area Of Bintan Bay Of Riau Islands Province
Horseshoe crab, Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda is frequently found in the coastal zone of Bintan Bay of Riau Islands Province. The study was conducted from August to September 2016 in coastal area of Kampung Gisi, Bintan bay. The aims of the study were to analyse the population structure and morphometric characters of horseshoe crab and its relation to the coastal environmental characteristics. Sampling of horseshoe crab was taken using belt transect method, and coastal environmental parameters were measured in-situ. The results show that b values of length-weight relationship were found to be 3.3 (male) and 2.6 (female) respectively. Furthermore, the growth pattern of males were positive allometric, and females were negative allometric. Horseshoe crab are closely related to sandy mudflats sediment, brackish water salinity and mangrove habitat distribution
