Application of calibrated vehicle dynamic indicators in city traffic management
The number of registered vehicles in the Russian Federation is increasing every year, and the traffic flows of cities consist mainly of cars. The car fleet of the Russian Federation has undergone significant changes in recent decades. In particular, passenger vehicles, their power and design parameters are improving every year. These changes affect the system and the process of movement of cars in the traffic flow. This article defines the parameters that affect the functioning of urban traffic flows and, in a mathematical way, on their basis, found dynamic indicators for a conditional “calibrated” car
The existing influence of means of individual mobility on the speed indicators of urban traffic flow
This article presents the results of assessing the impact of means of individual mobility on the indicators of traffic flow by finding the dependencies of the speed of traffic flow on the number of SIM on the road network (UDS) in the morning rush hour, evening rush hour and inter-peak [1]. The purpose of the study is to obtain real values of the speed of the traffic flow for further analysis and comparison, which in the future will allow us to understand how the number of means of individual mobility [2] affects this value (study of the speed indicators of the traffic flow as a result of changes in its composition, taking into account the appearance of SIM). It is proposed to use a method for finding intermediate values, namely the interpolation method of the Lagrange polynomial. With its help, it is possible to find the values of the speed of the traffic flow
Positive and negative aspects of using personal mobility devices on the road network
The article examines the positive and negative aspects of the use of personal mobility devices on the road network in the Russian Federation in the period from 2018-2023. The advantages of vehicles with an electric motor are analyzed, such as environmental friendliness, comfortable parking conditions, ease of movement over short distances, time saving and physical activity. On the other hand, the study also highlights the risks of traveling on these means, such as accidents, increased risk of injury, lack of safe infrastructure, lack of driving style and seasonality. After studying the statistics of road accidents in which personal mobility devices were involved, problems were identified at the legislative level associated with driving on devices equipped with an electric motor in road cases. In addition, options were proposed to reduce accidents and ensure safe traffic on the road network in the context of the amendments introduced on March 1, 2023, such as increasing the level of awareness regarding traffic safety on road infrastructure, using equipment for certain vehicles and following safety precautions

The car park is growing at a rapid pace every year. According to the official statistics of the traffic police service, on the roads of the Russian Federation, mainly passenger vehicles prevail, accounting for 80-90% of the total number of cars. Passenger vehicles include a large number of various vehicles that differ from each other in design and technical parameters, with an overall length of 2.5 m to 5.8 m. The difference in overall length affects the value of the dynamic dimension and, accordingly, the throughput of the road network, which requires constant monitoring and improvement, especially when using technical traffic control systems. It is necessary to consider the influence of the main parameters of the traffic flow when calculating the saturation flow at an intersection controlled by a traffic light object
Development of an approach to determination of coupling qualities of road covering using weather-climate factor
Assessing the grip of the road surface is an extremely important task both in the field of traffic management, and in the field of investigation and examination of traffic accidents. The coupling quality of the road surface is fully ensured by the coefficient of friction, which is subject to constant monitoring in order to ensure road safety. There are a large number of methods for determining the magnitude of the coefficient of friction. In their study, the authors propose an improved approach for determining the investigated value using the weather and climate factor. Previously, a group of researchers in the course of scientific research determined the dependence of the coefficient of friction on the temperature of the road surface, as a result of mathematical analysis, the authors obtained a dependence that allows to determine the studied value by air temperature and the condition of the road surface (presence of precipitation). The performed experiment allowed us to test the obtained dependence within the framework of the object of study and to make a comparative assessment of the results obtained with the data obtained using the road laboratory.</jats:p

VALIDITY OF THE SMID LAW IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION VISION ZERO
Vizion Zero – a long-term program to improve road safety, according to which no one should be killed or seriously injured as a result of a road traffic accident (RTA). Due to the high efficiency of this program, many world countries, including the Russian Federation, took it as a basis for de-veloping long-term transport strategies. To assess the indicators and determine the possibility of achieving the established safety level, within the framework of this article, the main statistical models applicable to the analysis of the indicators of world countries are considered, a mathemat-ical calculation is made and the analysis of point data is carried out.</jats:p
