Analisis Kesiapan Smk RSBI Dalam Peningkatan Daya Saing Lulusan

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil SMK Rintisan Bertaraf Internasional (SMK RSBI) di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dan melakukan analisis berkaitan dengan kesiapannya dalam meningkatkan daya saing lulusan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuisioner, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik kuantitatif deskripstif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum profil sekolah kejuruan di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta masuk pada kategori baik. Skor rata-rata yang diperoleh untuk kesiapan sumber daya manusia adalah 72.25%, proses belajar mengajar 67,00%, sarana dan prasarana 73,5%, manajemen 76,25%, pendanaan 66,25%, yang kesiapan budaya sekolah 71.50%, kemitraan 84.50%, dan mahasiswa dan lulusan 82,00%. Berdasarkan hasil di atas pemerintah perlu meningkatkan kualitas sekolah kejuruan utama untuk meningkatkan kualitas dalam rangka untuk menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan kompetitif di pasar global

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiatives at Multinational Companies in Malaysia

Today it is generally accepted that organisations have social responsibilities that extend well beyond what in the past was commonly referred to simply as the “business economic function”. This study sets out to find out the motivation of Shell Malaysia (SM) in practicing their CSR initiatives. Understanding that no metaphor is perfect and that the pyramid of CSR by Archie B Carroll is no exception, the four responsibilities: economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic is intended to portray that the total CSR of SM's business comprising distinct components that, taken together, constitute the whole. Intensive interview was done within the sphere of SM's Corporate Affairs (CA) Department directed to the senior management. Motivations that lead to CSR initiatives is the earning of goodwill which help SM optimise its portfolio and maintains its license to operate and grow, enhancement of reputation, retention of good employment talent, investor relations and access to capital, reduction and management of project risk through risk profile and risk management, encouragement of innovation inspired by society's expectations, reinforcement of customer loyalty, and lastly, the gains of eco- efficiency through societal approval that increases overall business efficiency. The studied organisation practices CSR according to the four responsibilities in Carroll's pyramid: economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic. In spite, having the ethical and philanthropic layers added only recently, SM's CSR initiatives seemed to have gone beyond that, practicing strategic engagement into the field, which puts it in the lead compared to many organisations. Hence, imprinting a name for itself to serve as a benchmark or role model for other organisations to follow

Students' Interest and Usefulness of Fieldwork Approaches to History

It is very exciting that history in the Integrated Cmriculum forSecondary School (ICSS) has been included as one of the core subjects inthe lower and upper secondary levels of Malaysian schools. These subjectsare officially included in the time table of the ordinary, religious, science,vocational and technical schools in the country. One of the most importantand effective methods introduced in the teaching and learning of historyis a fieldwork approaches, particularly a site visit. Since history is acompulsory subject, it is necessary to study and analyse the ICSS historycurriculum to see i f it really could achieve the objectives of the syllabus,successfully imparting knowledge and develop interest among studentsin the subject. The study involved about eight hundred students of selectedsecondary schools in the states of Perak and Terengganu. Instr\imentsused were questionnaire and interview which were conducted with theselected respondents. The analysis of the study were presented inpercentage by using six Likert scale responses. The study shows that historyfieldwork contain many usefulness such as to develop, spark/ stimulate,motivate, investigate, prove, gain social experience, social sldUs, buildteacher-student relation, teaching-learning method, and fulfil NationalCurriculum. Moreover, the effective used of history fieldwork can enhancestudent interest in developing the country towards the advancement of'first class mind' of human capital of Malaysian. It is hoped that the findingwill enlighten teachers and students in the learning of history in the ICSStowards achieving the stipulated aspiration, especially 1-Malaysia

Penerapan Pembelajaran Model Sentra Balok Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk Mujahidin 1

This study aimed to describe the planning, implementation, evaluation, contributing factors, and the constraints faced by teachers in implementing the learning model of the central beam in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Mujahidin 1 Pontianak. This study used a descriptive method with qualitative approach. The sample was 2 teacher and child center beam B3 group. From the results indicate that the application of learning peneitian center beam models tend to refer to the Ministerial Regulation No. 58 of 2009 and has been implemented well. In the application of models of learning centers already implementing learning teacher beam in accordance with the model measures of learning centers and children were already building bangunnnya of the beam according to the developmental stage of the child in playing blocks. The factors supporting the learning activities in the center of the beam can be run smoothly due to the media supporting beams and lots of accessories. In addition, the constraints faced by the teacher in the child's concentration in short lessons and accessories receive the puppets are few in number

Peningkatan Perhatian Belajar Melalui Media Audio Visual Pada Anak Tk

This research study aims to improve the care of children TK. Slash using props in the form of audio visual media. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The sample was 20 children. The results showed that the lesson plans contained in RKH using audio-visual media attention for improvement of Slash TK district as obtained IPKG 1 Cycle 12,87 and IPKG 2 Cycle 2 was obtained3,1 .This suggests that teachers ameliorationcan designing lesson plans, and make the learning process so well that improvement in the second cycle can be done well so that it becomes 10% . While in the stage of learning steps acquired 64,5% of cycle 1 and cycle 2 was obtained 74,5 % , corresponding to the increase in excelsiorIPKG but an increase to 10%

The Role of Parliamentary Scrutiny in Budgetary Policy: Understanding the Politics of Fiscal Policy

This paper examines the role of parliamentary scrutiny in budgetary policy, focusing on the eighteenth Parliament of Jordan. Data from 59 surveyed parliamentarians reveals a modest level of budgetary scrutiny. Factors such as legislative powers, parliament composition, political parties, time allocation, and parliamentarians knowledge and skills significantly influence budgetary scrutiny. The study highlights the correlation between budgetary scrutiny and transparency. The findings emphasize the need to empower legislators, promote transparency, and enhance parliamentarians capabilities to strengthen budgetary scrutiny
