Electronic payment refers to the use of electronic means of cash and related transactions, usually involving the use of computer networks such as the Internet and digital preserved value systems. Many countries in sub-Saharan Africa lack statistical information on the current state of the e-commerce market. Besides, a lack of trust in service providers also hinders the development of e-commerce. As such, this paper aims to examine e-commerce payment choice among e-commerce users and to determine the relationship between the factors to assess e-commerce payment and the accessibility of e-commerce in Somalia. The research method used is quantitative with a survey design. The questionnaire was distributed to 384 respondents, who are Hormuud Telecom subscribers residing in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu. The findings indicated that there is a positive relationship between online payment choice and accessibility of e-commerce, as well as a positive relationship between customer trust and accessibility of e-commerce. In conclusion, this study suggests that electronic payment can replace the paper payment method and customer trust plays an important role in e-commerce accessibility in Somalia

This study aims to ascertain the impact of the Active learning method on high-order thinking skills (HOTS) within the realm of Islamic education. Our primary contribution is the comprehensive meta-analysis of various preliminary and university educational studies. Using RStudio, we analyzed the differences in effect sizes, variations, and groups among studies. The findings indicate that the Active learning method significantly enhances HOTS, with the mixed learning method showing the most pronounced effect. We adopted a systematic approach, examining diverse learning methods like genre-based learning and blended learning model. Our research design entailed a meticulous meta-analysis of pre-existing literature rather than primary experimental or survey-based methods. However, we identified high heterogeneity in effect sizes as a limitation, suggesting the need for more nuanced studies in varied contexts. This research underscores educators' need to adapt learning strategies suited for specific educational levels, pointing towards a brighter horizon for tailored pedagogical interventions

The trade union recognition process is a pre-requisite to the collective bargaining action of a trade union. The recognition is important to ascertain the competency of a trade union and the acceptance by the workers to represent them in the collective bargaining action with the employer. However, the ambiguities in the existing legislations on the trade union recognition process in Malaysia and the anti-union practices of the employer are currently depriving the workers of their rights to negotiate for better working conditions. The primary focus of the present work is to identify the weaknesses of the recognition legal framework and the anti-union practices of employers in the recognition process of trade unions. Secondly, is to critically analyse the good faith bargaining practice in other countries and its significance to the recognition process in Malaysia. To explore the anti-union tactics perpetrated by employers, semi-structured interviews have been conducted to analyse the trade unions’ experience in their recognition claims. This research employed a qualitative approach as the instrument to study the good faith bargaining practicesinthe Australian and New Zealand labour law framework.
