Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Geografi Berbasis Problem Based Learning Pada Materi Pokok Mitigasi Bencana Alam Untuk Siswa Kelas XI SMA N 1 Sragen

ABSTRACT This research aims to: 1) recognize characteristics of problem based learning geography learning material in natural disaster mitigation subject; 2) identify feasibility of problem based learning geography learning material in natural disaster mitigation subject; 3) pinpoint effectiveness of problem based learning geography learning material in natural disaster mitigation subject. The research of problem based learning geography learning material employs 4-D procedure of Thiagarajan modified into three stages which are: 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaire, test and documentation. Instruments used are questionnaire, observation, and assessment sheets. Assessment data of feasibility of problem based learning material is processed by using percentage descriptive formula, whereas data analysis of effectiveness is treated by using t-test formula. Results of the research are concluded that: 1) problem based learning geography learning material in natural disaster mitigation subject has been successfully developed by characteristics which are technically created by using Corel Draw 6 application. Subject of the problem based learning-based geography learning material has preeminence by the existence of learning stages appropriate with the problem based learning approach. There are geo info, subject summary and question exercise in the end of learning activity that are able to test the knowledge of the students toward natural disaster mitigation subject. 2) problem based learning geography learning material is appropriate to be used as teaching material in natural disaster mitigation subject. This is proven by the validation result of subject-expert lecturer, media-expert lecturer, and geography teacher that shows average score of 78.03. 3) problem based learning geography learning material is effective to improve students learning result in natural disaster mitigation subject. This is proven by -tstatistic < -ttable therefore it could be concluded that there is difference in the students learning result average before and after using problem based learning material. IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN PADA LABORATORIUM GEOGRAFI BERBANTUAN MEDIA PETA PEMANFAATAN LAHAN GAMBUT DI SMA NEGERI 3 PONTIANAK
Artikel ini merupakan penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Peneliitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran geografi pada laboratorium geografi dan untuk mengetahui penggunaan peta pemanfaatan lahan gambut di SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan trianguasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pembelajaran pada laboratorium geografi berlangsung selama kurang lebih 2x45menit atau 2 jam pelajaran dengan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah project based learning. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek menekankan pada proses dan hasil yang telah dicapai proses tersebut meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan presentasi hasil praktikum serta tata tertib terhadap kaidah-kaidah penggunaan laboratorium. 2) Pesertadidik menggunakan dua peta tersebut untuk membedakan daerah yang berpotensi sebagai area konservasidan area yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai kawasan pertanian dan peternakan
ANALISIS SIKAP PEDULI LINGKUNGAN PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPS SMA DI KOTA PONTIANAK
Penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap peduli lingkungan pada siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA N 3 dan MAN 2 Kota Pontianak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket serta studi literatur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pengolahan data dan penyajian data dengan perhitungan persentase. Teknik uji persyaratan analisis menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap peduli lingkungan siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA N 3 termasuk kategori baik sebesar 71,50% sedangkan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa kelas XI IPS di MAN 2 termasuk kategori baik sebesar 71,34%
Pengetahuan Dan Kesiapsiagaan Guru Dalam Menghadapi Bencana Banjir di SMP Negri 6 Surakarta
Indonesia, banjir menjadi bencana yang mengancam setiap musim penghujan mulai tiba. Kota Surakarta sebagai salah satu kawasan rentan banjir karena berada di zona depresi yang diapit vulkan lawu, vulkan merapi dan pegunungan seribu. Dampak banjir yang terjadi di Kota Surakarta juga menyebabkan terendamnya sejumlah kantor intansi pemerintah, pasar termasuk SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) tingkat pengetahuan guru mengenai bencana banjir di SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta (2) tingkat kesiapsiagaan guru dalam menghadapi bencana banjir di SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta (3) hubungan antara pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan guru dalam menghadapi becana banjir di SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta yang berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan korelasi pearson product moment . Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Pengetahuan guru dapat diketahui termasuk dalam kategori baik. Indeks pengetahuan diperoleh dari 40 responden yang termasuk kategori kurang sebanyak 9 orang (22,5 %), cukup sebanyak 0 orang, dan baik sebanyak 31 orang ( 77,5 %). (2) Kesiapsiagaan guru SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta diperoleh 75,66 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Indeks kesiapsiagaan tersebut juga didasarkan pada 40 responden dengan kategori jawaban sangat rendah 0, rendah sebanyak 1 orang (2%), cukup sebanyak 8 orang (20%), tinggi sebanyak 16 orang (40%) dan sangat tinggi sebanyak 15 orang (38%). (3) Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan guru dalam menghadapi bencana banjir
PENGEMBANGAN WISATA PANTAI MJ ARUNG PARAK SEBAGAI OBJEK WISATA DI KECAMATAN TANGARAN KABUPATEN SAMBAS
AbstractThis study aims to analyze the potential of MJ Beach as a tourist attraction. Type of research used descriptive with qualitative methods. Data retrieval procedure in this study is observation, interview and documentation. Results of the research obtained in this study is the result of an interview that is a description of the tour-ism potential of MJ Beach. Based on the results of the research, Arung Parak vil-lage has two tourism potentials, namely MJ Beach and Antar Ajong festival. MJ Beach has the advantage of having two tourism potentials as well as good acces-sibility. The weakness of MJ Beach is the lack of tourist support facilities and coastal abrasion. The opportunity that MJ Arung Parak Beach has is the presence of Pokdarwis and the trend of people who choose to travel in their own area. The threat in the development of MJ is the presence of other beaches that are more in demand by the community as well as the effects of Covid-19. The direc-tion of development that can be done is to utilize with both tourism potentials that have to be used as tourist attractions, misinterpret the condition of existing facili-ties, and still maintain the sustainability of the beach.Keywords: Tourism development, tourist attraction, beac
KESIAPSIAGAAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP BENCANA BANJIR DI KECAMATAN MEMPAWAH HILIR KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH
This study aims to determine community preparedness for flood disasters in Mempawah Hilir District, Mempawah Regency. The research method used is quantitative research with survey methods. The source of the data for this research is the people of Mempawah Hilir District who were affected by the flood disaster and the data is the result of field observations along with the distribution of questionnaires to flood-affected communities in Mempawah Hilir District and the total sample calculation results are 99 respondents. The results showed that Mempawah Hilir District has an area with a low level of vulnerability of 12,161.33 Ha, a vulnerable category area has an area of 8,138.26 Ha, and an area with a very vulnerable category has an area of 967.70 Ha. Meanwhile, the preparedness of the people of the Mempawah Hilir sub-district is in the unprepared category with an index value of 55. The calculation is obtained by measuring each preparedness parameter. The knowledge parameter having preparedness with a very ready category with an index of 31, the attitude parameter having an unprepared readiness index with an index of 10, the emergency response parameter having an unprepared preparedness with an index of 30, the early warning parameter having an unprepared preparedness with an index of 8, and the mobilization parameter. the resource has unprepared readiness with index 4
PROBLEMATIKA PEMBELAJARAN DARING MASA PANDEMI MATA PELAJARAN GEOGRAFI KELAS X SMA NEGERI 6 PONTIANAK
This study aims to discover online learning problems and the efforts made during the Covid-19 pandemic in class XI geography subjects at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. This study's data sources were interviews with the principal, geography subject teachers, and several tenth- grade students at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. The results showed that online learning problems in geography subjects in class X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak were a lack of motivation, concentration, and student learning outcomes during online learning. In addition, the limitations of supporting facilities and infrastructure for students and teachers. Efforts made to overcome the problems are the school providing internet data quota facilities and borrowing school computer laboratories for students or teachers who do not have or are having problems with devices that support the learning process
PENGGUNAAN MEDIA TEKA-TEKI SILANG TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN GEOGRAFI DI SMA NEGERI 1 SUNGAI RAYA
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of crossword media on student achievement in Geography IPS Class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. This kind of research uses a quasi-experimental design with a pre- and post-test for two different groups. The participants were eleventh-grade IPS students. A simple random sampling technique from probability was used to choose the sample. The XI IPS 5 class served as the experimental group, while the XI IPS 3 class served as the control group. Crosswords were included into the therapeutic sessions for the test group but were not utilized with the XI IPS 3 control group. A rise from 50.71 to 67.11 was found to be the average for the control group in the statistical analysis. Based on the data collected, we can see that the experimental group's mean score increased from 39.00 on the pretest to 69.57 on the posttest. Under the null hypothesis of equal variances, SPSS's independent sample t-test analysis yields a t value of -6,274 and a p-value of 0.00 0.05, indicating that H0 cannot be accepted. Class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya may benefit from practicing crossword puzzles to increase their geographical knowledge, thus this sort of media is advised
PERSEPSI DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA SECARA ONLINE PADA PELAJARAN GEOGRAFI DI MAN 2 PONTIANAK
AbstractThis study aims to determine the perceptions and motivation of student learning as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of learning Geography at home online during the Covid-19 pandemic of class XI IPS 2 MAN 2 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this study were students of class XI IPS 2 MAN 2 Pontianak and the data were in the form of interviews about students' perceptions and motivation to learn as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for learning geography at home online during the Covid-19 pandemic which was conducted via Whatsapp. Interviews were conducted with 6 students. The results showed, 1) students' perceptions when learning geography online are currently difficult to understand, even though there is a lot of free time. 2) Students' learning motivation, each of them is unique, such as having more curiosity and studying geography deeper individually by searching for articles or videos related to geography lessons so that learning geography online has its respective supporting and factors inhibiting .Keywords: Perceptions of Motivation, Learning Geography, Onlin
