    The inspection system for the entrance exam to the state polytechnic in Ujung Pandang is a process for checking participant computer answer sheets (LJK) to obtain the scores of participants who took the exam so that it becomes a benchmark for participants' graduation of the desired study program. The previous UMPN inspection system had drawbacks, namely the program inspection system still needed to be developed in terms of accuracy and effectiveness. Designing an FSI inspection program that has high accuracy requires data collection such as FSI along with references to similar inspection programs. The LJK inspection program uses the python language with the image processing library, namely openCV. LJK will be scanned and produce 100dpi and 200dpi LJK images which will be tested in the FSI inspection program. Based on the program testing conducted, it is recommended to use a 15x15 pixel resolution of 100dpi with an average accuracy of 99.31% and for a 200dpi resolution it is recommended to use 30x30 pixels with an average accuracy of 99.98%

    Scheduling an application in data grid is significantly complex and very challenging because of its heterogeneous in nature of the grid system. Thus, Divisible Load Theory (DLT) is a powerful model for modeling data intensive grid problem where both communication and computation load is partitionable. Previously, Task Data Present (TDP) model was proposed based on DLT model. This paper presents an Adaptive TDP (ATDP) model to reduce the makespan. New equations for calculating the load allocation are derived. Experimental results showed that the proposed model can balance the load efficiently

    Improved genetic algorithm for scheduling divisible data grid application

    Data Grid technology promises geographically distributed scientists to access and share physically distributed resources such as computing resources, networks, storages, and most importantly data collections for large scale data intensive problems. In many Data Grid applications, Data can be decomposed into multiple independent sub datasets and distributed for parallel execution and analysis. In this paper, we exploit this property and propose an Improved Genetic Algorithm (IGA) for scheduling divisible data grid applications. A good heuristic approach used to generate the initial population. Experimental results show that the proposed IGA gives better performance compared to the Genetic Algorithm (GA)

    Decision Making Analysis of Video Streaming Algorithm for Private Cloud Computing Infrastructure

    The issue on how to effectively deliver video streaming contents over cloud computing infrastructures is tackled in this study. Basically, quality of service of video streaming is strongly influenced by bandwidth, jitter and data loss problems. A number of intelligent video streaming algorithms are proposed by using different techniques to deal with such issues. This study aims to propose and demonstrate a novel decision making analysis which combines ISO 9126 (international standard for software engineering) and Analytic Hierarchy Process to help experts selecting the best video streaming algorithm for the case of private cloud computing infrastructure. The given case study concluded that Scalable Streaming algorithm is the best algorithm to be implemented for delivering high quality of service of video streaming over  the private cloud computing infrastructure

Large system scalerequires that information system should be designed in such a way that it can be developed gradually. To reducescalability potential problem, terms of data integrity and number of users should be noticed. Modeling of role usersbecomes an important component to accommodate those needs. Role User Modeling is done by analyzing organizationalstructure, converting the structure into role model, and generating rules for new user role. The method used is theobservation of the organizational structure and data needs. The observation was conducted at Politeknik Negeri UjungPandang and resulted in 5 rules of user role conformation, that will be the basis of role user formation for informationsystem in Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang
