    A two-level structure for advanced space power system automation

    The tasks to be carried out during the three-year project period are: (1) performing extensive simulation using existing mathematical models to build a specific knowledge base of the operating characteristics of space power systems; (2) carrying out the necessary basic research on hierarchical control structures, real-time quantitative algorithms, and decision-theoretic procedures; (3) developing a two-level automation scheme for fault detection and diagnosis, maintenance and restoration scheduling, and load management; and (4) testing and demonstration. The outlines of the proposed system structure that served as a master plan for this project, work accomplished, concluding remarks, and ideas for future work are also addressed

    ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN REFERENSI PADA TEKS EKSPOSISI DALAM BUKU TEKS BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS X KURIKULUM 2013

    Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah, 1) jenis referensi yang terdapat pada teks eksposisi dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X Kurikulum 2013, dan (2) bentuk referensi yang terdapat pada teks eksposisi dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis dan bentuk referensi yang terdapat pada teks eksposisi dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X Kurikulum 2013. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskripstif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata dan frasa yang mengandung penanda referensial. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah teks eksposisi yang terdapat dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X Kurikulum 2013. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data, mengidentifikasi data, mengklasifikasikan data, deskripsi, dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis referensi yang terdapat pada teks eksposisi dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X Kurikulum 2013 terdiri atas dua kategori yakni referensi endofora dan referensi eksofora. Referensi endofora terdiriatas referensi anafora dan referensi katafora yang meliputi referensi anafora demonstratif, referensi anafora persona, referensi katafora persona, referensi anafora komparatif, dan referensi katafora demonstratif. Adapun referensi eksofora meliputi referensi eksofora demonstratif, referensi eksofora persona, dan referensi eksofora komparatif. Adapun bentuk referensi yang terdapat pada teks eksposisi dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X Kurikulum 2013 terdiri atas bentuk pronomina demonstratif umum, pronomina persona ketiga tunggal, pronomina demonstratif tempat, pronomina demonstratif waktu, pronomina persona pertama jamak, pronomina komparatif tingkat komparatif, pronomina demonstratif orang, pronomina demonstratif adverbial, pronomina persona pertama tunggal, pronomina persona ketiga jamak, dan pronomina demonstratif ihwal.     Evaluasi Pemanfaatan Lahan Peruntukkan Kawasan Permukiman Berdasarkan RTRW Kota Tomohon Tahun 2013 – 2033

    Abstrak Evaluasi merupakan suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan setiap 5 tahun sekali untuk meninjau suatu produk perencanaan. Peruntukkan kawasan permukiman adalah salah satu hasil dari rencana yang tertuang dalam RTRW setiap wilayah. Adanya perubahan pemanfaatan lahan pada Kota Tomohon mempengaruhi keberadaaan kawasan peruntukkan ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebelumnya masih terdapat peruntukkan PKP yang berada pada Kawasan Rawan Bencana Gunung Api. Untuk itu, penelitian ini akan mengidentifikasi sebaran pemanfaatan lahan peruntukkan PKP agar mendapatkan lokasi dan luas peruntukkan PKP Kota Tomohon yang masih berada pada Negative List : Kawasan Lindung dan Kawasan Rawan Bencana selanjutnya memberikan tinjauan daerah potensional dalam pengembangan PKP. Metode yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisa data spasial (overlay peta dan skoring) yang memberikan keluaran berupa kesesuaian lahan permukiman dan kemampuan pengembangannya sehingga dapat dievaluasi pemanfaatan lahan peruntukkan permukiman Kota Tomohon. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat diketahui luas lahan pemanfaatan lahan PKP adalah sebesar 1156,93 ha sedangkan untuk PKP yang direncanakan adalah sebesar 1232,74 ha. Luas PKP yang berada pada Kawasan Lindung yakni Hutan Lindung adalah 0,615ha, Resapan Air adalah 9,67 ha, Sempadan Sungai adalah 38,42 ha, Sekitar Danau adalah 7,23 ha, Sempadan Mata Air adalah 2,31 ha. Kawasan Rawan Bencana yakni Gunung Berapi sebesar 127,09 ha.  Sedangkan untuk daerah potensional untuk pengembangan PKP adalah sebesar 4134,02 ha dari total luas wilayah Kota Tomohon. Kata kunci : Kawasan Negative List; Permukiman; Analisa Spasial; Daerah Potensional.Abstract Evaluation is an activity carried out every five years to review a planning product. The plan for this designation of settlements area contained in Regional Spatial Plan (RSP) of each region has. The change of land use in Tomohon City affects the existence of this designation area. Based on the results of previous research, there are still found settlements which located in Volcano Disaster-Prone Areas. Therefore, this study will identify the distribution of land use designated for settlement to obtain the location and area of Tomohon City which is still on the Negative List: Protected Areas and Disaster-Prone Areas then provides an overview of the potential areas for settlements development. The method used is the spatial data analysis technique (map overlay and scoring) which provides output in the form of the suitability land and its development capability so that the use of land designated for settlements in Tomohon City can be evaluated. The results of this study shown the currently settlement is 1156,93 ha, while the planned is 1232,74 ha. Also there are still settlement located in the Protected Area, namely Protected Forest is 0,615 ha, Water Catchment Area is 9.67 ha, River Border is 38.42 ha, Around Lake is 7,23 ha, Spring Boundary is 2.31 ha. Meanwhile in Disaster-Prone Areas, namely Volcanoes of 127.09 ha.     Rational nutrition for a whole year is possible with a well-established system of storage and processing of plant raw materials. Products with vegetable and fruit raw materials due to their availability and nutritional value are in demand among the population. There is a constant interest in new products with increased biological value. The preservation of ascorbic acid, the main source of which is vegetables and fruits, is also affected by the technology of production. Despite the damaging effect of the heat treatment temperature of canned products on thermolabile components, the sterilization regimes should be relaxed. To this end, it has been proposed to produce beverages from vegetables and fruits for scientifically-based recipes, which allows them to be processed at a temperature of 100 °C, as well as juices with pulp and sugar. Smoothie, made on the basis of zucchini with the addition of gooseberries and blackcurrant puree contain respectively 13.3 and 41.8 mg/100 g of ascorbic acid, have an optimal for good perception of the sugar-acid index 21,4-21,5 compared with juices from soft pulp and sugar from gooseberry and black currant, which produces industry. The latter is explained by the fact that instead of sugar syrup, natural juice from zucchini was used in the recipe

    Working Climate with Fatigue Levels of Timber Industry Workers in Probolinggo

    The high-temperature work environment is an additional burden of heat pressure that results in the occurrence of subjective deficiencies in the worker and may cause disruption to the workforce. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between work climate with the level of fatigue in workers in PT. Kutai Timber Indonesia Probolinggo. This research use analytic survey method with the cross-sectional approach and sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling of 134 samples in Production I section that is hot press, shikumi, and putty. The study was conducted in January 2018. Data were analyzed by Chi-Square statistical test. The result of the research shows that most of the working climate that exceeds threshold value with high fatigue category is 70 respondents (52,5%), almost half of them are 40 respondents (29,9%) with the moderate level of errors. While in the working climate that does not exceed the threshold value with the category of fatigue rate is a small number of 20 respondents (14.9%) and high fatigue rate of 4 respondents (3.0%). Calculation of Chi-Square statistic test with significance level α = 0,05 obtained result ρ = 0,000 (0,000 <0,05) then H0 is rejected, so there is the significant relation between work climate with fatigue level at the worker in PT.KTI (Kutai Timber Indonesia) Probolinggo City. To minimize heat stress from a work climate that exceeds threshold value, it is better for the company to use an exhaust fan where the heat from the working environment sourced from the zinc roof and the production machinery is pulled out of the environment with lower temperatures, periodic health checks on labor, before work stretching for 3-5 minutes and suggest workers consume water every 20 minutes in the work

    Optimization of glutathione production in batch and fed-batch cultures by the wild-type and recombinant strains of the methylotrophic yeast Hansenula polymorpha DL-1

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Tripeptide glutathione (gamma-glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glycine) is the most abundant non-protein thiol that protects cells from metabolic and oxidative stresses and is widely used as medicine, food additives and in cosmetic industry. The methylotrophic yeast <it>Hansenula polymorpha </it>is regarded as a rich source of glutathione due to the role of this thiol in detoxifications of key intermediates of methanol metabolism. Cellular and extracellular glutathione production of <it>H. polymorpha </it>DL-1 in the wild type and recombinant strains which overexpress genes of glutathione biosynthesis (<it>GSH2</it>) and its precursor cysteine (<it>MET4</it>) was studied.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>Glutathione producing capacity of <it>H. polymorpha </it>DL-1 depending on parameters of cultivation (dissolved oxygen tension, pH, stirrer speed), carbon substrate (glucose, methanol) and type of overexpressed genes of glutathione and its precursor biosynthesis during batch and fed-batch fermentations were studied. Under optimized conditions of glucose fed-batch cultivation, the glutathione productivity of the engineered strains was increased from ~900 up to ~ 2300 mg of Total Intracellular Glutathione (TIG) or GSH+GSSG<sub>in</sub>, per liter of culture medium. Meantime, methanol fed-batch cultivation of one of the recombinant strains allowed achieving the extracellular glutathione productivity up to 250 mg of Total Extracellular Glutathione (TEG) or GSH+GSSG<sub>ex</sub>, per liter of the culture medium.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p><it>H. polymorpha </it>is an competitive glutathione producer as compared to other known yeast and bacteria strains (<it>Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Candida utilis, Escherichia coli, Lactococcus lactis </it>etc.) with good perspectives for further improvement especially for production of extracellular form of glutathione.</p

    Interpretation of the value of human rights in the context of modern forms of legal understanding

    A long-term discussion about legal understanding has identified some main approaches to defining its concept, in particular among them: natural law and positive law. In this context, the question of the value of human rights in the context of these types of legal understanding is fundamental to legal science. Considering the above, inter alia, it is also important to find out whether human rights are natural or whether they require formal recognition and consolidation, being positive. The aim of the study is to consider the main features of the interpretation of the value of human rights in the context of natural and positive types of legal understanding, as well as to compare them. Consideration of the subject of research was carried out within the framework of an integrated approach, which involves a combination of such special methods as structural-functional, comparative-legal and formal-legal analysis methods. The article examines the two most popular types of legal understanding, in particular, natural law and legal positivism. According to positive law, human rights should be enshrined in laws, regulations and sources of legal norms. It should be noted that in the modern world, law, which includes human rights, is understood as a system of legal norms that are issued and protected by the state, which to a greater extent reflects a positive legal understanding. The essence of the theory of natural law is that in addition to positive law, which is created by the state, there is a common natural law for all people, standing above positive law. That is why natural law is realized in positive law and becomes its content. Thus, human rights and freedoms enshrined in the generally recognized principles and norms of international law have become the criterion of the legal basis for national systems of positive law
