Evaluation of Economic Efficiency and Financial Feasibility of Investment Project carried out with Municipality

Tématem diplomové práce je hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti a finanční proveditelnosti projektu realizovaného obcí. Obsahuje teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá vysvětlením pojmů veřejný sektor a veřejný investiční projekt. Dále přibližuje metody používané pro ekonomické hodnocení veřejných projektů a vymezuje možné zdroje jejich financování. Praktická část obsahuje případovou studii na projekt parkovacího domu v Litomyšli. S využitím poznatků z teoretické části hodnotí ekonomickou efektivnost projektu a možné zdroje jeho financování.This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of economic efficiency and the financial feasibility of the project realised by the municipality. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical background chapter, the author introduces the topic of the public sector and the public investment project. Furthermore, this thesis discusses methods which are used for evaluation of economic efficiency of the public projects and also their financing. The second part deals with the case study of the parking house project in Litomyšl. The author uses knowledge from the theoretical part to evaluate the effectiveness of the project and possible sources of financing.

Economic and Financial Impacts of Investment Project on Public Investor

Předmětem diplomové práce je zhodnocení ekonomických a finančních dopadů investičního projektu na veřejného investora. Pro posouzení míry dopadu vlivů je definováno hospodaření investora – obce Ludkovice. Zvoleným posuzovaným projektem je výstavba Sportovního areálu v Ludkovicích. Výstupy hodnocení jsou stanoveny pomocí aplikace eCBA, která využívá metodu analýzy nákladů a užitků. Diplomová práce kloubí dohromady teoretické poznatky hodnocení ekonomických ukazatelů jako Čistá současná hodnota, Vnitřní výnosové procento a Index rentability a využívá jejich výpočtů pro vyhodnocení celkové efektivnosti a možností financování investice v praxi.The aim of the master‘s thesis is to evaluate the economic and financial impacts of the investment project on the public sector. It is defined the financial management of the investor – the village Ludkovice – for the assessing of the impacts. Selected project is the construction of a sports complex in Ludkovice. Outputs are determined by using eCBA application that uses method of Cost Benefit Analysis. The thesis connects together theoretical knowledge of evaluation economic indicators such as Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Profitability Index and use this calculations to evaluate the overall effectiveness of investment and the possibility of financing in practice.

Evaluation of the Productivity of the Regional Cities in Waste Management

Diplomová práce se zabývá zhodnocením efektivity a produktivity krajských měst v odpadovém hospodářství. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení produktivity 12 krajských měst v oblasti nakládání s odpady dle Malmquistova indexu k roku 2017 vůči roku 2013. V teoretické části diplomové práce jsou popsány negativní externality v odpadovém hospodářství. Praktická část se zabývá zhodnocením efektivity produktivity vybraných krajských měst v odpadovém hospodářství prostřednictvím metody DEA CRS a Malmquistova indexu. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že svou produktivitu při nakládání s odpady k roku 2017 vůči roku 2013 zvýšilo pouze Ústí nad Labem. Ostatní krajská města vykazovala zhoršení produktivity v odpadovém hospodářství.The master thesis deals with evaluation of the efficiency and productivity of the regional cities in waste management. The main goal of master thesis is evaluation of productivity of 12 regional cities in waste management according to Malmquist index in 2017 against 2013. In the theoretical part of master thesis are described negative externalities in waste management. The practical part deals with evaluation of the produktivity of the choosen regional cities in waste management according to method DEA CRS and Malmquist index. Results show that improvement of the productivity in waste management in 2017 against 2013 was achieved in only one regional city Ústí nad Labem. Evaluation of Economic Efficiency of Kindergarten Construction Project

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá projektem výstavby mateřské školy v obci Svatobořice-Mistřín. Práce se zaměřuje na hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti projektu formou CBA analýzy, na základě které je možné vyhodnotit, zda je projekt vhodný či nevhodný pro realizaci. V teoretické části popisuje životní cyklus projektu, financování projektů, ekonomické hodnocení investice, metody hodnocení a analýzu nákladů a užitků.This diploma thesis deals with the project of Kindergarten construction in Svatobořice-Mistřín. The thesis focuses on the evaluation of economic efficiency of project in the form of CBA analysis, where is possible decide is the plan as suitable or unsuitable for implementation. The theoretical part describes life-cycle of project, project financing, economic evaluation of investment, methods of evaluation and cost-benefit analysis.

Evaluation of Efficiency and Risk of Investment Project

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku hodnocení efektivnosti a rizik investičního projektu v oblasti dopravní infrastruktury. Konkrétní zacílení práce je na hodnocení cyklostezky. V první části bakalářské práce je část teoretická, která podrobně popisuje fáze hodnocení. Následuje metodická část, která propojuje teoretickou část s případovou studií. Závěrem práce je případová studie, která zahrnuje popis hodnoceného projektu, následně ekonomickou analýzu a hodnocení rizik. Hodnoceným projektem je II/444 Šternberk-průtah-I.stavba, pro účel případové studie byla hodnocena pouze cyklostezka. Ekonomická analýza vychází z výstupů online systému eCBA. Na ekonomickou analýzu navazuje hodnocení rizik projektu.This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the efficiency and risks of an investment project in the field of transport infrastructure. The aim of this work is to evaluate a bicycle lane. The first part of the thesis is the theoretical and describes the stages of evaluation in detail. What follows is a part, which interconnects the theoretical part with a case study. The final part of this work comprises the case study, which includes a description of the evaluated project, economic analysis, and risk assessment. The evaluated project was ii/444 Šternberk-průtah-I.stavba, and for the purpose of the case study only the bicycle trail was assessed. The economic output is based on the outputs of the online system eCBA.

Feasibility Study of the Investment Project of Public Investor

Studie proveditelnosti je technicko-ekonomická studie, která představuje základní nástroj pro investiční rozhodování. Cílem studie je poskytnout technické, ekonomické, finanční a manažerské informace pro kvalifikované investiční rozhodnutí. Teoretická část shrnuje účel, postup zpracování a strukturu jednotlivých kapitol studie proveditelnosti včetně analýzy nákladů a užitků. V praktické části je řešena studie proveditelnosti modelového veřejného projektu a jeho alternativní možnost financování z dotačního programu Evropské unie.A feasibility study is a technical-economic study, an essential tool for investment decisions. The study aims to provide technical, economic, financial and management information qualified for investment decisions. The theoretical section summarizes the purpose, process and structure of individual chapters of the feasibility study including cost-benefit analysis. In the practical part of the feasibility study is designed public project model and its alternative financing option by the grant program of the European Union.

Determination of Economic Efficiency of the Business Plan

Diplomová práce se zabývá stanovením ekonomické efektivnosti projektu. Jedná se o projekt dostavby v odvětví sportu, rekreace, turistiky a cykloturistiky. Teoretická část je zahájena kapitolou, která popisuje témata spojená s fází přípravy a realizace projektu. V následující kapitole je přehled metod, kterými lze projekty posuzovat. Největší pozornost je věnována studii proveditelnosti jako jedné z metod pro posuzování projektů. V teoretické části je dále výčet ukazatelů hodnocení projektu a samostatná kapitola, která se věnuje analýze CBA. Praktická část je zaměřena na zhodnocení projektu, stanovení penežních toků a výsledné finanční a ekonomické hodnocení projektu.The diplome thesis deals with determination of economic efficiency of the project. This si a project of completion in the sports, recreation, hiking and biking. The theoretical part begins by a chapter describing preparation and implementation phases of the project. The following chapter is an overview of the methods that can be used to assess projects. The most of attention is given to the feasibility study as one of the methods for assessing projects. In the theoretical part is a list of indicators of evaluation of the project and a separated chapter with cost benefit analysis. The practical part focuses on the evaluation of the project, the assessment of cash flow and the resulting financial and economic evaluation of the project.
