Pendekatan Intervensi Dini, Tingkat Inteligensi, Dan Penyesuaian Diri Anak Usia Dini
: The Early Intervention Approach, Intelligence Level, and Self-adjustment of the Early-Aged Children. This study aims to know the influence of early intervention approach and intelligence level on the self-adjustment of early-aged children. Conducted at two kindergartens in Magelang, this study employed a 2 x 2 factorial experimental design. The data were collected through observation and Colored Progressive Matrics (CPM) Test. The study reveals that: (1) children receiving behavioristic early intervention showed higher level of self-adjustment than those receiving cognitive early intervention; (2) early intervention approach and intelligence level have effect on self-adjustment of the children; (3) children of high intelligence level receiving behavioristic early intervention showed lower level of self-adjustment than those receiving cognitive early intervention; (4) children of low intelligence level receiving behavioristic early intervention showed higher level of self-adjustment than those receiving cognitive early intervention
VALIDITAS DAN RELIABILITAS ANGKET PENYESUAIAN DIRI PESERTA DIDIK SMA
Self-adjustment is an individual's effort to achieve balance in the individual and his environment, so that the feelings felt such as hostility, envy, jealousy, prejudice, depression, anger and others as negative emotions as inappropriate personal responses can be eliminated in the individual.. From this understanding, self-adjustment is a natural process that will be experienced by individuals to overcome the behavior, feelings and even mental conditions of the individual in order to establish a better relationship with the environmental situation in which the individual is located.. Seeing how important self-adjustment is for individuals even for students in new environments, a measuring tool is needed in the form of an self- adjustment questionnaire. This study uses research and development (R&D) development research to develop and validate educational products in the form of an self- adjustment questionnaire. The self-adjustment questionnaire required validity and reliability tests. The subjects of this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Cipongkor. The results of the validity test of the self-adjustment questionnaire stated that 13 statements were valid and their reliability was 0.718 which was categorized as high from the 30 statements that the researcher made from 28 respondents
Pengaruh Religious Commitment Terhadap Penyesuaian Diri Mahasiswa
The self-adjustment ability on campus is an important requirement of studenteducation success. Therefore students should have good adjustment skills. This study aims to determine the adjustment ability and religious commitment of students in the campus IAIN Antasari, and to know the influence of religious commitment to student self-adjustment. The method used is quantitative method, with simple linear regression analysis. The research subjects were IAIN Antasari students in each faculty, and 236 students were selected as samples. The results showed that there was a significant positive religious commitment influence on the students' self adjustment at IAIN Antasari (R = 0.699 (r = 0.000)). Each dimension of religious commitment also has a significant positive effect on students' self-adjustment. The influence of religious belief dimension (R = 0.484 (r = 0.000)), religious practice dimension (R = 0.596 (r = 0.000)), religious knowledge dimension (R = 0.613 = 0.000)), and religious effect dimension (R = 0.689 (r = 0.000)) on students’ self-adjustment. It shows that the higher the religious commitment of the students, the better the students' self-adjustment. Therefore, the religious commitment of students is very important to be improved so that the students' self-adjustment will be better
The Self-Adjustment of People Who Engage in Interfaith Dating
Using the phenomenological approach, this qualitative psychological study aims to understand the self-adjustment of people who engage in interfaith dating. Data for this study was collected through interviews with three couples involved in an interfaith relationship for more than a year. The Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) performed on the data yielded several emerging themes, including aspects of self-adjustment, supporting factors, and self-adjustment process. This study concludes that all the partners in the interfaith relationships have engaged in acts of self-adjustment to make their relationship work
HUBUNGAN ANTARA STATUS SOSIAL EKONOMI DENGAN PENYESUAIAN DIRI LANSIA
The olds’ self-adjustment is the olds’ capability in making mental process to establish a harmonic objective as the consequence of demand in their selves and environment as they enter a closing stage of human life or old age. Many factors are affecting self-adjustment on the old people. One of them is socio-economy status. It will affect self-adjustment on the old people, where physiological mechanism in the body cannot function as good as at young. The weakening reaction time and body immune, the decreasing work capacity, the longer restoration to the original condition after working and the brittle body structure. Thus, purpose of this research is to examine the correlation between socio-economy status with self adjustment on the old people. This research represents a correlation quantitative research. It uses socio-economy status as the independent variable and self-adjustment on the old people as the dependent variable. The research subjects are the old people at 60-70 years in age, who are resided in Landungsari Village of Malang. The number of respondents is 50 people. Data analysis uses regression analysis method. From the research result, it can be known that there is positive correlation among the socio-economy status with self-adjustment on the old people with the significance level is r = 0.629 p = 0.000. It means that the higher the socio-economy status, the better the olds’ self-adjustment. The socio-economy status’ effective contribution to self-adjustment on the old people is 39.5%
The Role of Cognitive Reappraisal and Expressive Suppression toward Self-adjustment among Adolescence
Self-adjustment is highly important in human life. It refers to the ability to adapt to social behavior and environment. Factors influencing an individual's ability to self-adjust include emotional regulation in the context of interaction, as self-adjustment is closely intertwined with it. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression on students' self-adjustment. The research sample consists of 104 tenth-grade high school students selected through a simple random sampling technique. Multiple linear regression analysis is employed in this study. The research findings reveal that the dimensions of cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression have a significant influence on students' self-adjustment, accounting for 25.9%, while other factors account for the remaining 74.1%.Keywords: self-adjustment; emotional regulation; high school student

Pengaruh Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok terhadap Tingkat Penyesuaian Diri Siswa Kelas X Smk Kehutanan Negeri Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015
The research is entitled “the effect of group counseling toward the self adjustment level of the tenth grade forestry vocational school of pekanbaru in 2014/2015 academic year. It is aimed at 1) finding out the level of self adjustment of the tenth grade students before the group counseling was implemented. 2) finding out the ongoing implementation process of counseling the tenth grade students. 3) finding out the level of self adjustment of the tenth grade students after the group counseling was implemented. 4) finding out the differences between pre-implemetation and post-implementation of group counseling toward tenth grade students' self adjustment level. 5) finding out whether there is an effect of group counseling toward tenth grade students' self adjustment level. The research subjects are 100 students of the tenth grade of forestry vocational school of pekanbaru. 30% of the population that is equal to 30 persons were taken as samples by using random sampling. As a description of students' self adjustment level before the implemetation of group counseling, most of them are categorized as unfavorable, a small portion of the students are categorized as very unfavorable, and none of them are categorized as pretty good, good, and very good. While, as a description of post-implemetation of group counseling, the students' self adjustment level are 16,67% categorized as good, mostly 83,33% are categorized as very good, and none of them are categorized as very unfavorable, pretty unfavorable, and very unfavorable. Based on the hypothesis result test, it shoes that there is significant effect of group discussion toward students' self adjustment which is amounted to 48%
