Probing the MSSM Higgs Sector via Weak Boson Fusion at the LHC
In the MSSM weak boson fusion produces the two CP even Higgs bosons with a
combined strength equivalent to the production of the Standard Model Higgs
boson. The tau tau decay mode --- supplemented by gamma gamma --- provides a
highly significant signal for at least one of the CP even Higgs bosons at the
LHC with reasonable luminosity. The accessible parameter space covers the
entire physical range which will be left unexplored by LEP2.Comment: 8 pages, LaTeX2e, RevTeX3.1, 4 figures include
Prospects for Higgs properties determination at the LHC
The strategies recently developed to study Higgs boson properties at the LHC
are reviewed. It is shown how to obtain model-independent determinations of
couplings to fermions and gauge bosons by exploiting different production and
decay channels. We consider in some detail the case of Weak Boson Fusion Higgs
production with H --> b \bar b as well as the prospects for the determination
of the Higgs self-coupling at the SLHC.Comment: LaTeX (using npb style), 5 pages, 1 .eps figure. Talk presented at

A new method for extracting the bottom quark Yukawa coupling at the CERN Large Hadron Collider
We propose a new method for measuring the H -> bb rate at the CERN LHC in a
manner which would allow extraction of the b quark Yukawa coupling. Higgs boson
production in purely electroweak WHjj events is calculated. The Standard Model
signal rate including decays W -> l nu and H -> bb is 11 fb for M_H = 120 GeV.
It is possible to suppress the principal backgrounds, Wbbjj and ttjj, to
approximately the level of the signal. As the top quark Yukawa coupling does
not appear in this process, it promises a reliable extraction of g_Hbb in the
context of the Standard Model or some extensions, such as the MSSM.Comment: added background, updated/added references, additional comment
Precision Higgs Physics at a Future Linear Collider
Assuming that a Higgs sector is responsible for electroweak symmetry
breaking, we attempt to address two important questions: How much better
precision are various measurements of Higgs boson properties at a future linear
collider than at the LHC? What can a future linear collider do for Higgs
physics that the LHC cannot?Comment: 10 pp, 4 eps fig, econf, invited talk at RADCOR 2000 (Carmel, CA,

The perceived barriers to the inclusion of rainwater harvesting systems by UK house building companies
This work investigates the barriers that exist to deter the implementation of rainwater harvesting into new UK housing. A postal questionnaire was sent to a selection of large, medium and small house-builders distributed across the UK. Questions were asked concerning potential barriers to the inclusion of rainwater harvesting in homes separated into five sections; (1) institutional and regulatory gaps, (2) economic and financial constraints, (3) absence of incentives, (4) lack of information and technical knowledge, and (5) house-builder attitudes. The study concludes that although the knowledge of rainwater systems has increased these barriers are deterring house-builders from installing rainwater harvesting systems in new homes. It is further acknowledged that the implementation of rainwater harvesting will continue to be limited whilst these barriers remain and unless resolved, rainwater harvesting's potential to reduce the consumption of potable water in houses will continue to be limited
The prospects of rainwater harvesting in the Ho CHi Minh City
Wisely using natural water resources to serve human needs plays a decisive role in ensuring water and food security. In the natural water cycle, rainwater is considered as a valuable renewable resource. Rainwater harvesting (RWH) for daily life and production is a simple but effective and also environmentally sound measure. It is also a positive solution in a climate change adaptation strategy. However, this resource is being wasted in our country in general and in the HCM City in particular. This paper provides an overview of the status of rainwater use in the world; the general situation, the potential of rainwater collection and a number of issues related to the potential of rainwater harvesting in the city. Some solutions to enhance the use of rainwater and improve water supply for city residents are also suggested in this discussion

Probing Neutral Gauge Boson Self-interactions in ZZ Production at Hadron Colliders
A detailed analysis of ZZ production at the upgraded Fermilab Tevatron and
the CERN Large Hadron Collider is presented for general ZZZ and ZZ\gamma
couplings. Deviations from the Standard Model gauge theory structure for each
of these can be parameterized in terms of two form factors which are severely
restricted by unitarity at high energy. Achievable limits on these couplings
are shown to be a dramatic improvement over the limits currently obtained by
e^+e^- experiments.Comment: 36 pages, 15 figures, revte
