Fatwa yang dipahami sebagai jawaban resmi terhadap pertanyaan ataupersoalan penting menyangkut kepercayaan atau hukum yang diberikan oleh seseorang atausuatu lembaga yang mempunyai otoritas untuk melakukannya,suatu hukum menurutAl Washliyah adalah hanya ulama-ulama terdahulu saja yang mampu menetapkannya,karena:Tidak semua orang mempunyai kesanggupan mengeluarkan hukum denganseorang diri dari Alquran dan hadis, karena untuk melaksankan pekerjaan tersebut harusmemenuhi berbagai persyaratan. Harus mengerti betul bahasa Arab, mempunyaiperlengkapan tentang ilmu-ilmu yang diperlukan untuk memahami Alquran dan hadis,dan berbagai syarat lain yang diterangkan dalam kitab Us?l al-Fiqh. Gerakan Pendidikan Al-Washliyah di Sumatera Utara

Penellitian tentang organisasi kemasyarakatan di Indonesia penting dilakukan yang hasilnya berkontribusi penting bagi kajian Islam Indonesia. Tulisan ini mengkaji sejarah organisasi Al-Jam’iyatul Washliyah di Sumatera Utara dalam konteks kontribusinya dalam membangun peradaban Islam Nusantara terutama dalam bidang pendidikan. Al-Washliyah telah lama memainkan peranan penting bagi kontinuitas tradisi Islam di Indonesia. Secara lebih spesifik, artikel ini memotret gerakan pendidikan Al-Washliyah yang mencakup sejarah, tipologi, eksistensi, dan problematika lembaga-lembaga pendidikannya. Penulis menemukan bahwa Al-Washliyah memiliki komitmen tinggi terhadap dinamika pendidikan Islam di tanah air, bahkan memainkan peran sebagai benteng bagi tradisi Sunni

Strategi Komunikasi Al-Ittihadiyah Sumatera Utara dalam Mengembangkan Dakwah di Sumatera Utara

This study aims to identify, analyze and describe Al-Ittihadiyah's communication strategy in developing the Da'wah Program in North Sumatra. In this research, there are Al-Ittihadiyah communication strategies, da'wah programs and the obstacles and successes that have been carried out by Al-Ittihadiyah North Sumatra. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of field research that describes the results of research objectively to the conditions and characteristics encountered in the field. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis of this research used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data collected is checked. The results of this study are the communication strategies carried out by Al-Ittihadiyah North Sumatra in developing a da'wah program using 5 communication strategies, namely; wisdom communication strategy, communication strategy mau'izhatul hasanah, communication strategy by mahabbah, top-down communication, bottom-up communication. North Sumatra Al-Ittihadiyah da'wah programs aimed at the benefit of the community consist of 4 parts, namely programs in the field of da'wah, programs in education, programs in the social sector and programs in the field of public economy, each of which has many activities. Obstacles that occur when developing a da'wah program are divided into two parts, namely internal and external, internal factors, namely lack of funding and lack of communication and time sharing because the board of Al-Ittihadiyah each has a job, and external factors, namely the conditions of the community faced and the lack of people who know about this organization even though this organization is an original organization founded in North Sumatra. The success of the da'wah program achieved by Al-Ittihadiyah North Sumatra is also very satisfying, seen from the large number of people in minority areas who have converted to Islam and are still being nurtured until now, many people are aware of this organization, ongoing training, schools that are continuously being built and already has its own university and other Islamic development center developments

PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN ORGANISASI-ORGANISASI ISLAM: MUHAMMADIYAH, NAHDATUL ULAMA DAN JAMI’ATUL WASHLIYAH

Awareness of organization with a very high effort and imbued with feelings of nationalism and religion led to developments and a new era in education and teaching. With full awareness, the leaders of the movement tried to change the backwardness of the Indonesian people through the implementation of national education. Their efforts are realized by establishing schools and madrasas with a modern system by adopting a Western education system that teaches general subjects and religious subjects. Evidence of this development is until the birth of Islamic universities in Indonesia. The role of these organizations can be extraordinary, both in the fields of economy, education, politics and in achieving independence for the Indonesian state. We also feel this until now where many Islamic organizations still exist and maintain stability in Indonesia within a government

RESPONS AL-ITTIHADIYAH DI SUMATERA UTARA TERHADAP RADIKALISME

Abstrak: Studi ini menganalisa respons organisasi Al-Ittihadiyah di Sumatera Utara terhadap radikalisme. Belakangan ini muncul pernyataan yang menimbulkan kontra produktif di mana organisasi Islam selain Nahdlatul Ulama diragukan perannya dalam membangun peradaban bangsa. Artikel ini menganalisis respons Al-Ittihadiyah terhadap radikalisme. Al-Ittihadiyah didirikan sebelum Indonesia merdeka dan para tokohnya ikut memperjuangkan dan mempertahankan kemerdekaan. Data studi ini diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam yang dilengkapi dengan kegiatan studi dokumen dan observasi; lalu dianalisis dengan menggunakan model analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Hasilnya adalah bahwa Al-Ittihadiyah merupakan organisasi Islam moderat sebagaimana dua organisasi Islam papan atas, NU dan Muhammadiyah. Organisasi ini, melalui lisan dan tulisan pengurusnya, menegaskan bahwa radikalisme bertentangan dengan semangat Islam. Mereka menolak banyak gagasan kelompok radikal seperti khilafah, anti-Barat, jihad berarti perang, dan legalisasi bom bunuh diri, sembari memberikan solusi bagi peredaman pertumbuhan dan perkembangan radikalisme di Indonesia. Abstract: Al-Ittihadiyah in North Sumatra and Its Responses to Radicalism. KAJIAN TAFSIR AL-QUR’AN KONTEMPORER DI UIN ANTASARI BANJARMASIN (ANALISIS KONTEKS DAN SIGNIFIKANSI)

AbstractThis paper examines to see how the depelovment of contemporary Qur’anic studies at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, based on analysis of context and significant. By using searching methods for published literatures 2008-2018, the result of this paper show that generally study of tafsi>r al-Qur’a>n has been done by Antasari’s scholars through various of discussions, themes, perspectives, and approaches of knowledge. It’s indicate that the thoughts of Qur’anic studies at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin always be developed and increased dynamically. By analysis context, that Qur’anic studies literatures are produced form mufassir who has diverse social-cultural bases. Moreover, its role significantly very important for depeloving contemporary Qur’anic studies at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin. In other side, it’s also effectively very useful for giving the contributions and solving the society problems.AbstrakTulisan ini berupaya untuk melihat bagaimana perkembangan kajian tafsir al-Qur'an kontemporer di UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, yang dianalisis dari tinjauan konteks dan signifikansinya. Berdasarkan penelusuran terhadap literatur-literatur yang terpublikasi tahun 2008-2018, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kajian atas tafsir al-Qur’an di UIN Antasari Banjarmasin secara umum telah dilakukan dengan berbagai bentuk kajian, corak dan model pendekatan. Pemikiran tafsir al-Qur’an di UIN Antasari Banjarmasin selalu bergerak dinamis beriringan dengan dinamika pemikiran Islam modern-kontemporer. Secara analisis konteks, karya-karya tafsir al-Qur’an yang berkembang di UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, lahir dari tangan para mufassir yang mempunyai basis sosial-budaya yang beragam, sesuai dengan konteks dan ruang yang melingkupinya. Selain itu, karya-karya yang ditulis oleh para akademisi UIN Antasari Banjarmasin tersebut memiliki urgensi dan signifikansi terhadap pengembangan studi tafsir al-Qur’an kontemporer. Di satu sisi, ia juga hadir dalam rangka memberikan kontribusi konkret terhadap setiap problematika sosial-keagamaan yang muncul di masyarakat
