As die universiteit vanaf die vroegste tye die ge- meenskap-in-klein genoem is, is die rektor van 'n moderne universiteit sekerlik die mikrokosmos van die universiteit waaraan hy verbonde is. Van hom word die gevleuelde idealisme van die akademikus asook die barre realisme van die adm inistrateur verwag; hy moet ’n profetiese visie op die lonkende horison van beginsels en ontwikke- lingspotensialiteit rig, m aar tog met albei voete op die vaste aarde van materiaal tot sy beskikking en doeltref- i’ende organisasie bly staan. House of tomorrow today

The House of Tomorrow Today is a project focussing on a healthy, energy producing dwelling to be realized with today¿s proven technology. The project aims at an energy plus level based on the principles as formulated in SmartBuilding (Slimbouwen) [1] ActiveHouse [2] and HoTT [3] It can be seen as the logical successor of the Danish-Canadian Zero Energy House project [4] HOTT is focussing on a healthy indoor climate based on natural ventilation, the production of sustainable energy using PV panels and a limited ecological footprint

He was a conservative theologian in the sense that he wanted to serve the church of Christby his scientific study of the Bible. He was greatly influenced by ‘Continental Theology’, especially as practiced by renowned German scholars.
