Quantum information with continuous variables
Quantum information is a rapidly advancing area of interdisciplinary
research. It may lead to real-world applications for communication and
computation unavailable without the exploitation of quantum properties such as
nonorthogonality or entanglement. We review the progress in quantum information
based on continuous quantum variables, with emphasis on quantum optical
implementations in terms of the quadrature amplitudes of the electromagnetic
field.Comment: accepted for publication in Reviews of Modern Physic

The Tightness of the Kesten-Stigum Reconstruction Bound of Symmetric Model with Multiple Mutations
It is well known that reconstruction problems, as the interdisciplinary
subject, have been studied in numerous contexts including statistical physics,
information theory and computational biology, to name a few. We consider a
-state symmetric model, with two categories of states in each category,
and 3 transition probabilities: the probability to remain in the same state,
the probability to change states but remain in the same category, and the
probability to change categories. We construct a nonlinear second order
dynamical system based on this model and show that the Kesten-Stigum
reconstruction bound is not tight when .Comment: Accepted, to appear Journal of Statistical Physic
Interdisciplinarity in todays science
Nowadays the interdisciplinary scientific fields are really interesting for researchers. We are living in the world, where any science cannot be thing-in-itself. Some greatest things are between physic and biology, chemistry and mathematic, IT and linguistic, biology and IT, etc

Publication Trends in Physics Education: A Bibliometric study
A publication trend in Physics Education by employing bibliometric analysis
leads the researchers to describe current scientific movement. This paper tries
to answer "What do Physics education scientists concentrate in their
publications?" by analyzing the productivity and development of publications on
the subject category of Physics Education in the period 1980--2013. The Web of
Science databases in the research areas of "EDUCATION - EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH"
was used to extract the publication trends. The study involves 1360
publications, including 840 articles, 503 proceedings paper, 22 reviews, 7
editorial material, 6 Book review, and one Biographical item. Number of
publications with "Physical Education" in topic increased from 0.14 % (n = 2)
in 1980 to 16.54 % (n = 225) in 2011. Total number of receiving citations is
8071, with approximately citations per papers of 5.93. The results show the
publication and citations in Physic Education has increased dramatically while
the Malaysian share is well ranked
Resolving the Schwarzschild singularity in both classic and quantum gravity
The Schwarzschild singularity's resolution has key values in cracking the key
mysteries related with black holes, the origin of their horizon entropy and the
information missing puzzle involved in their evaporations. We provide in this
work the general dynamic inner metric of collapsing stars with horizons and
with non-trivial radial mass distributions. We find that static central
singularities are not the final state of the system. Instead, the final state
of the system is a periodically zero-cross breathing ball. Through 3+1
decomposed general relativity and its quantum formulation, we establish a
functional Schr\"odinger equation controlling the micro-state of this breathing
ball and show that, the system configuration with all the matter concentrating
on the central point is not the unique eigen-energy-density solution. Using a
Bohr-Sommerfield like "orbital" quantisation assumption, we show that for each
black hole of horizon radius , there are about
allowable eigen-energy-density profile. This
naturally leads to physic interpretations for the micro-origin of horizon
entropy, as well as solutions to the information missing puzzle involved in
Hawking radiations.Comment: 19 pages, 5 figures, final published versio
Landscape Urban Structure Design - S. Romão Sportive Park, Leiria Polis, Portugal
It is due to the modern movement the loss of both
landscape and open spaces multifunctionality. Consequently, it
merges the term of “green spaces” amorphous and residual, often
void and without any appropriation, so characteristic of the
contemporary city. This study is a reflexion about and a practice
result of the return to these spaces multifunctionality through a
landscape structure on the urban space. We want this structure
to be continuous, structuring and assuring biologic processes and
fluxes that occur in the landscape systems. We present the casestudy
of S. Romão Sportive Park included in Polis Program of
Leiria City, in Portugal. It is a system of open spaces that
constitutes itself as a landscape structure, continuous and
multifunctional
