    This study aimed to analyze the relationship between time budget pressure and human capital on audit quality through ethical culture of the organization and analyze the influence of cultural mediation organization's ethics against indirect relationship between human capital and time budget pressure on reduced audit quality act.This study uses primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to the KAP in Semarang and Ernst. This study used a sample of 76 respondents using purposive sampling. The data analysis is done by testing data quality, classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression model.The results obtained from this study is that audit quality is directly influenced by human capital, time budget pressure, and ethical culture of the organization. While the organization's ethical culture is directly influenced both of time budget pressure and also human capital on reduced audit quality act

    Association of Intraocular Pressure With Human Immunodeficiency Virus

    PURPOSE: Prior studies have shown an association between human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and reduced intraocular pressures (IOP). The purpose of this study was to determine if patients with HIV on highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) had any difference in their IOP compared with patients without HIV or with HIV who are not on HAART. DESIGN: Retrospective cross-sectional study. METHODS: We included 400 patients from our academic eye center between 2000 and 2016. Group 1 (G1) consisted of patients with HIV on HAART (n = 176), Group 2 (G2) consisted of patients with HIV who were not on HAART (n = 48), and Group 3 (G3) consisted of controls without HIV (n = 176). An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed to compare mean IOP values. Multivariate linear and logistic regression models were performed to assess factors impacting IOP. Difference in IOP was the primary outcome being measured. RESULTS: The mean IOPs in mm Hg were 13.7 +/- 5.1 (G1), 13.1 +/- 3.6 (G2), and 17.3 +/- 3.8 (G3), P \u3c .01. In regression modeling, having a CD4 count CONCLUSIONS: Absolute CD4 counts may play a role in IOP fluctuations. This association was found in patients with HIV regardless of whether patients were on HAART

    A flexible sensor technology for the distributed measurement of interaction pressure

    We present a sensor technology for the measure of the physical human-robot interaction pressure developed in the last years at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. The system is composed of flexible matrices of opto-electronic sensors covered by a soft silicone cover. This sensory system is completely modular and scalable, allowing one to cover areas of any sizes and shapes, and to measure different pressure ranges. In this work we present the main application areas for this technology. A first generation of the system was used to monitor human-robot interaction in upper- (NEUROExos; Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna) and lower-limb (LOPES; University of Twente) exoskeletons for rehabilitation. A second generation, with increased resolution and wireless connection, was used to develop a pressure-sensitive foot insole and an improved human-robot interaction measurement systems. The experimental characterization of the latter system along with its validation on three healthy subjects is presented here for the first time. A perspective on future uses and development of the technology is finally drafted

    A Review on Pressure Ulcer: Aetiology, Cost, Detection and Prevention Systems

    Pressure ulcer (also known as pressure sore, bedsore, ischemia, decubitus ulcer) is a global challenge for today’s healthcare society. Found in several locations in the human body such as the sacrum, heel, back of the head, shoulder, knee caps, it occurs when soft tissues are under continuous loading and a subject’s mobility is restricted (bedbound/chair bound). Blood flow in soft tissues becomes insufficient leading to tissue necrosis (cell death) and pressure ulcer. The subject’s physiological parameters (age, body mass index) and types of body support surface materials (mattress) are also factors in the formation of pressure ulcer. The economic impacts of these are huge, and the subject’s quality of life is reduced in many ways. There are several methods of detecting and preventing ulceration in human body. Detection depends on assessing local pressure on tissue and prevention on scales of risk used to assess a subject prior to admission. There are also various types of mattresses (air cushioned/liquid filled/foam) available to prevent ulceration. But, despite this work, pressure ulcers remain common.This article reviews the aetiology, cost, detection and prevention of these ulcers
