The 2009–2010 academic year has proven to be one of great success and achievement for the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. As graduates and friends of our college, you will be pleased to know that we have achieved our capital campaign goal of $20 million. As you know, the college motto is “Enhancing Quality of Life through Research, Outreach, and Practice,” and most of the stories contained herein truly embrace this mission. In particular, please take the time to read about how two of our doctoral students in the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport Studies are addressing the needs of refugees who have resettled in Knoxville from war-torn Iraq. You will also learn about students who moved their doctoral seminar class to Brussels and Paris
