    Educational theory as rhythmic action: From Arendt to Agamben

    Traditionally, educational theory has been couched as modes of human action through concepts such as poiesis and praxis. Inasmuch as poiesis and praxis have significantly shaped educational theory, we argue that such modes of action – if considered as mutually exclusive – do not sufficiently explain the interrelationship between educational theory and practice. Firstly, we extend the notion of action as explained by Arendt. Next, we offer an account of Agamben’s ‘opening of rhythm’, which integrates the notions of poiesis and praxis to pave the way for an understanding of educational theory as creative will that moves human action from enacting the unexpected into ‘an increasingly free and rarified atmosphere’. Secondly, in re-examining the Aristotelian concepts of poiesis and praxis, we argue that Agamben’s ‘opening of rhythm’ extends the Arendtian notion of action to perform the unexpected, and offers an as yet unexplored lens through which to understand the nexus between educational theory and practice

    Аналіз теоретичних і практичних аспектів даної проблеми виявив, що процеси гуманізації й демократизації системи професійної освіти впливають й на процеси управління цією системою. Змістом управлінської діяльності в системі освіти є створення умов, які б забезпечували можливість реалізації соціальних і педагогічних цілей освіти. Сучасна теорія й передова практика управління базується на успішній реалізації цілей освіти в висококваліфікованих кадрах. У зв'язку з цим, основна увага надається роботі з персоналом. Відбувається зміна поглядів в самих навчальних закладах: орієнтир на потреби учнів та студентів, на необхідність їх підготовки, на вирішення міждисциплінарних проблем.Анализ теоретических и практических аспектов данной проблемы констатирует, что процессы гуманизации и демократизации системы профессионального образования влияют и на процессы управления этой системой. Содержанием управленческой деятельности в системе образования есть создание условий, ккоторые бы обеспечивали возможность реализации социальных и педагогических целей образования. Современная теория и передовая практика управления базируется на успешной реализации целей образования в высококвалифицированных кадрах. В связи с этим, основное внимание уделяется работе с персоналом. Происходит изменение взглядов в самых учебных заведениях: ориентир на потребности учеников и студентов, на необходимость их подготовки, на решение междисциплинарных проблем.The analysis of theoretical and practical aspects of this problem discovered that the processes of humanizing and democratization of the system of trade education had influenced and on the processes of management by this system. By the table of contents of administrative activity there is creation of terms in the system of education, what would provide marketability social and pedagogical aims of education.
