Aeronautical engineering: A continuing bibliography with indexes (supplement 255)
This bibliography lists 529 reports, articles, and other documents introduced into the NASA scientific and technical information system in June 1990. Subject coverage includes: design, construction and testing of aircraft and aircraft engines; aircraft components, equipment and systems; ground support systems; and theoretical and applied aspects of aerodynamics and general fluid dynamics
Analysis of systems hardware flown on LDEF. Results of the systems special investigation group
The Long Duration Exposure Facility (LDEF) was retrieved after spending 69 months in low Earth orbit (LEO). LDEF carried a remarkable variety of mechanical, electrical, thermal, and optical systems, subsystems, and components. The Systems Special Investigation Group (Systems SIG) was formed to investigate the effects of the long duration exposure to LEO on systems related hardware and to coordinate and collate all systems analysis of LDEF hardware. Discussed here is the status of the LDEF Systems SIG investigation through the end of 1991

This bibliography lists 1134 reports, articles, and other documents introduced into the NASA Scientific and Technical Information System from April 1, 1980 through June 30, 1980
Energy, a continuing bibliography with indexes. Issue 33
This bibliography lists 1211 reports, articles, and other documents introduced into the NASA scientific and technical information system from January 1, 1981 through March 31, 1981
The Second Conference on Lunar Bases and Space Activities of the 21st Century, volume 2
These 92 papers comprise a peer-reviewed selection of presentations by authors from NASA, the Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI), industry, and academia at the Second Conference on Lunar Bases and Space Activities of the 21st Century. These papers go into more technical depth than did those published from the first NASA-sponsored symposium on the topic, held in 1984. Session topics included the following: (1) design and operation of transportation systems to, in orbit around, and on the Moon; (2) lunar base site selection; (3) design, architecture, construction, and operation of lunar bases and human habitats; (4) lunar-based scientific research and experimentation in astronomy, exobiology, and lunar geology; (5) recovery and use of lunar resources; (6) environmental and human factors of and life support technology for human presence on the Moon; and (7) program management of human exploration of the Moon and space
Photovoltaic energy systems: Program summary fiscal year 1983
An overview of government funded activities in photovoltaic energy conversion research is given. Introductory information, a list of directing organizations, a list of acronyms and abbreviations, and an index of current contractors are given

Calculations pertaining to the expansion of oxide conversion facility, Building 224-U. Project CA-513-B
This report discusses the proposal to expand the existing 224-U Building from an instantaneous rate of 13.5 tons of uranium per day to 18.5 tons per day. This is to be accomplished by the installation of two additional 8{prime} calcining kettles (or pots) available through the Atomic Energy Commission from Luckey, Ohio. It is the purpose of this report to present calculations and recommendations upon which design work is proceeding. This expansion is to utilize existing facilities of 224-U whenever possible and this report forms a record of the methods used in evaluating equipment and systems. Included are analysis of pot ventilation and pot unloading, stress analysis of the new pots, radiation hazard calculations and a composite schematic
