Production of a 1:10.000 scale mosaic of the Patía's Cauca municipality

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene por objetivo principal la producción de un mosaico a escala 1:10.000 del municipio de Patía en el de departamento del Cauca. Debido a la necesidad que enfrenta el país de avanzar en el catastro multipropósito, se hace necesaria la elaboración de un mosaico el cual se hizo a partir de imágenes satelitales que sirvieron de insumo para la producción del mismo. A pesar de enfrentar obstáculos durante el desarrollo del proyecto en campo, se logró obtener un producto de alta calidad que permite la representación topografica del municipio para su posterior uso en la planeación, desarrollo del territorio y toma de decisiones.The main objective of this work is the production of a 1:10.000 scale mosaic of the municipality of Patia in the Cauca's department. Due to the need faced by the country to advance in the multipurpose cadastre, It is necessary to producea mosaic which was made from satellite images that served as input for the production of the same. In spite of facing obstacles during the development of the project in the field work, it was possible to obtain a high quality product that allows the topographic representation of the municipality for its later use in the planning, territory's development and decision making
