Analisis Potensi dan Strategi Pengembangan Pengrajin Batik Dalam Meningkatkan Perekonomian di Desa Panembahan Kecamatan Plered Kabupaten Cirebon

Abstract

The development of UMKM is able to provide a positive contribution to changes in community development, one of which is being able to improve the community's economy in developing Batik Craftsmen. In this case, the potential possessed by Batik Craftsmen in Panembahan Village, Cirebon is very large but a more mature strategy in developing Batik Craftsmen is still not Conducive. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of batik craftsmen, batik craftsman development strategies in improving the economy. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive approach. In this study, a SWOT Analysis was used for batik craftsmen in Panembahan Village. The results of this study indicate that Batik Craftsmen in Panembahan Village who continue to develop the Cirebon Batik business are one of the villages that are still developing the business. This is proven by the development of the economic potential in Panembahan, the attraction that continues to be pursued by them as batik entrepreneurs continues to be continued. The development of this batik industry has a positive impact on batik craftsmen in Panembahan Village. The impact is first, the Addition batik craftsmen can meet the daily needs required by batik craftsmen and their families, both food and clothing needs. Second, Panembahan batik craftsmen can continue their batik making business. Third, Panembahan batik craftsmen can set aside some of the income received by these batik craftsmen to be saved.
