Abstract

Reading and a celebration of the freedom to read, access to information, and freedom of expression. Sponsored by Lion\u27s Rock Visiting Writiers Series and CWU Libraries, In today’s political climate, the issue of banned books is more relevant than ever. Books are being challenged and removed from libraries and schools at an alarming rate, often for addressing critical social issues or presenting diverse perspectives. This “Banned Books” event is an opportunity to stand against censorship and to celebrate the voices that some seek to silence.
