Pengaruh Pola Asuh Orang Tua Terhadap Social Emotional Learning Anak Usia Dini Melalui Mindfulness di Jawa Timur

Abstract

Early childhood has a variety of characteristics that are the beginning of childhood development. Children have one very important aspect of development, namely the social-emotional development aspect which leads to the ability to recognize and manage emotions, as well as grow and develop healthy and good interaction relationships with others. Social emotional learning for early childhood is important because it includes children's social awareness, self-management skills, decision-making skills, the ability to build relationships with others, and involves children's self-awareness. This study was conducted with the aim of finding out how parenting and mindfulness influence early childhood social emotional learning in East Java. The research methodology in this study uses a quantitative expost facto approach with a comparative causal method that uses correlation analysis models, multiple regression analysis, and path analysis. The data collection technique is a questionnaire with a research sample of children aged 5-6 years who are cared for by parents domiciled in East Java. Using classical assumption tests of normality, linearity, and heteroscedasticity, as well as using validity and reliability testing. The results showed that the influence of parenting and mindfulness has a significant relationship and influence simultaneously on social emotional learning. And in the path analysis test parental parenting has a significant influence on social emotional learning through mindfulness.Masa anak usia dini memiliki beragam karakteristik yang menjadi masa awal perkembangan kanak-kanak. Anak memiliki salah satu aspek perkembangan yang sangat penting yaitu aspek perkembangan sosial emosional yang mengarah pada kemampuan mengenali dan mengelola emosi, serta menumbuh dan mengembangkan hubungan interaksi dengan orang lain secara sehat dan baik. Pembelajaran sosial emosional bagi anak usia dini menjadi penting karena hal tersebut mencakup kesadaran sosial anak, kemampuan pengelolaan diri sendiri, keterampilan dalam membuat keputusan, kemampuan membangun hubungan dengan orang lain, dan melibatkan kesadaran diri anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pola asuh orang tua dan mindfulness terhadap social emotional learning anak usia dini di Jawa Timur. Metodologi penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sebuah pendekatan kuantitatif expost facto dengan metode kausal komparatif yang menggunakan model analisis korelasi, analisis regresi berganda, dan analisis jalur. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner dengan sampel penelitian anak usia 5-6 tahun yang diasuh oleh orang tua berdomisili di Jawa Timur. Menggunakan uji asumsi klasik normalitas, linieritas, dan heterokedastisitas, serta menggunakan pengujian validitas dan relibialitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh pola asuh orang tua dan mindfulness memiliki hubungan dan pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan terhadap social emotional learning. Serta dalam uji analisis jalur pola asuh orang tua memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap social emotional learning melalui mindfulness.&nbsp
