The Bear Essentials, January 29 & February 7 2024 Edition

Abstract

Bear Essentials is an online newsletter published by the Student Activities Council of Des Moines Area Community College. The newsletter was established in early 2020 when DMACC closed its facilities due to the coronavirus pandemic. The newsletter covers topics such as upcoming virtual activities and events, college resources, and community service opportunities. When asked about the origins of the newsletter, Student Activities Advisor Erin Smith said, We wanted students to know they were not alone, the entire DMACC Community was coming together to help support one another in any way possible.https://openspace.dmacc.edu/bearessentials/1146/thumbnail.jp
