Efectos de la actividad física en adolescentes con trastornos de ansiedad: revisión sistemática

Abstract

Anxiety disorders are a global mental health problem, affecting people greatly during adolescence, and as they develop, they experience both positive and negative things, becoming involved in experiences that play a role in their mental and physical development. The aim of the study was to understand how physical activity influences adolescents with anxiety disorders. A review was carried out using the PRISMA method in search engines such as Google Scholar, Dialnet, and Redalyc. A total of 380 initial documents were obtained, and after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 18 articles were selected for analysis. As a result, physical activity brings relief not only to adolescents but also to any person who practices it, greatly reducing anxiety symptoms and improving mental health. But this does not mean that it completely eliminates the symptoms, and it is important to turn to mental health professionals.Los trastornos de ansiedad son un problema de salud mental global, afectando en gran medida durante la adolescencia y a medida que van desenvolviéndose estos experimentan cosas positivas tanto como negativas, llegando a involucrarse en experiencias que juegan un papel en su desarrollo mental y físico. Donde el objetivo del estudio fue comprender cómo la actividad física influye en los adolescentes con trastornos de ansiedad. Realizando una revisión con el método PRISMA en motores de búsqueda como Google Académico, Dialnet, Redalyc. Donde se obtuvieron un total de 380 documentos iniciales y al aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión fueron seleccionados 18 artículos para su análisis. Teniendo como resultado que la actividad física aportar alivio no solo en los adolescentes sino también a cualquier persona que la practique reduciendo en gran medida los síntomas de ansiedad y mejorando la salud mental, pero eso no quiere decir que elimine por completo los síntomas, siendo de importancia el acudir a profesionales de la salud metal
