Poets to gather to honor Pulitzer Prize winner Levine

Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Philip Levine was honored at the Annual Colloquium of the Gertrude Vanderbilt and Harold S. Vanderbilt Visiting Writers Series, held on campus Apr. 11-12, 2003. Levine comments that poetry can be calming and fresh during this time of turmoil in Iraq, but that writing it is not always therapeutic for the poet.
