A COMUNIDADE E O MITO DO INDIVIDUALISMO MODERNO

Abstract

This article discusses the relationship that existed between individuals in primitive communities and that resulting from the emergence of the Modern and Liberal State. The implications in people\u27s way of life, regarding the production of material assets necessary for subsistence, as well as those arising from sensations, feelings, and desires experienced throughout history are evaluated, taking as a basis the studies of the actors contemplated: Harari, Benjamin, Foucault, and Habermas. So that, the analysis and historical study of an aesthetic of existence glimpses a new model of subjectivation, which implies the recovery and/or even the strengthening of the relationship that the subject constitutes with himself, with the world, and with others. This would be an alternative in the formulation of an ethical community, which is based on the care of the self (practice of the self), as a new lifestyle, whose purpose would be the city.Este artigo trata de uma discussão em torno da relação que existia entre os indivíduos nas comunidades primitivas e aquela decorrente do surgimento do Estado Moderno e Liberal. As implicações no modo de vida das pessoas, no que diz respeito à produção de bens materiais necessários à subsistência, bem como às oriundas das sensações, sentimentos e desejos vivenciados ao longo da história são avaliados, tomando como base alguns estudos dos atores aqui contemplados: Harari, Benjamin, Foucault e Habermas. De forma que, a análise e estudo histórico de uma estética da existência se vislumbra um novo modelo de subjetivação, que implique na recuperação e/ou mesmo no fortalecimento da relação que o sujeito constitui consigo mesmo, com o mundo e com os outros. Essa seria uma alternativa na formulação de uma comunidade ética, que se baseie no cuidado de si (prática de si), como um novo estilo de vida, cuja finalidade seria a cidade
