Abstract

Qiu et al. (2016) show that a mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase, SdeA, from Legionella pneumophila catalyzes ADP-ribosylation of ubiquitin, allowing SdeA to modify substrate with ubiquitin in the absence of E1 and E2 enzymes.</p
