Rose Covered Cottage in the Golden West

Abstract

Color postcard depicting tall, thick rose bushes growing all the way up past roof level of a cottage. The lower portion of the bushes have been trimmed so that the windows of the cottage are visible. The back of the postcard includes a message and holiday greetings from a young school girl.The message on the back of the postcard reads: 935 Chestnut St. Glendale Cal. Dear Mr. Riley. I am a little girl 9 years old and I love your poems because a little girl can understand them and there are so many of them written about places where I have been and where my Papa played when he was a little boy.
