Lineman for the Electric Company

Abstract

This photograph of a lineman ready to work gives an interesting view of the tools of the trade. The belt hanging on his right allowed him to climb the utility pole and work with less risk of falling. Slung over his shoulders are Westinghouse watthour meters, cable, rope, and threaded insulators on pins.Use of this image is restricted to projects related to Destination Indiana. IHS may not reproduce.Duke Energ
