DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS ON THE PIPELAY VESSEL

Abstract

Sustavi za podršku odlučivanju na plovilu za polaganje cijevi služe kako bi korisnicima sustava pružili trenutnu, ispravnu, preciznu i jasnu sliku stanja sustava za polaganje cijevi u svrhu pomoći pri donošenju odluka, a nastali su kao produkt sustava automatike. Sustavi su integrirani koristeći kompleksnu sklopovsku i programsku opremu, s programibilnim logičkim kontrolorom kao centralnom jedinicom sustava te programom pisanim ljestvičastim dijagramom. Ukoliko je zadovoljen niz logičkih uvjeta baziranih na povratnoj informaciji osjetnika, korisnik sustava bit će pravovremeno upozoren sustavom za uzbunjivanje. U svrhu analize povijesnih podataka, podaci o radu sustava se spremaju na redundantnim lokacijama na plovilu, dok se u svrhu udaljenog nadzora podaci šalju odgovornim centrima na kopnu. Sustavi su podložni promjenama u svrhu napretka, kako bi korisnike sustava informirali ranije i preciznije o ponuđenim opcijama, s posebnim naglaskom na unaprjeđenje zaštite ljudskih života, okoliša i vlasništva brodara.Decision support systems on pipelay vessel serve to provide users with up to date, correct, accurate and clear image of the condition of the pipelaying system in order to assist in decision-making. They are the product of an evolution of automation systems. Systems are integrated using complex hardware and software equipment, with the programmable logic controller as the central unit of the system and with software written in ladder-diagram. If the series of logical conditions based on the sensor feedback are met, warning system should notify user in time. Redundant data servers are used to store and later analyze historical data, while the certain data is sent to the shore to enable the remote supervision. Systems are subjected to change in order to improve, while informing users about decision-making options as early and as accurately as possible, with special emphasis on improving the protection of human life, the environment and company’s asset
