STRAIN AND PRESSURE MONITORING WITH FIBER OPTICS

Abstract

Želja za što kvalitetnijim nadziranjem dovela je do ugradnje optičke tehnologije unutar raznih postrojenja i brodova. Kvaliteta prijenosa, brzina odziva, praćenje stanja u realnom vremenu, izolacija smetnji izazvane elektromagnetskim zračenjima samo su neke od prednosti naspram prijašnjih metoda sustava nadziranja. Prijašnje navedene kvalitete navode da sve više sustava ugrađuju optičke senzore iako je svjetlovodna tehnologija u početnom stadiju razvoja. Zajedno s daljinskim upravljanjem i kontrolom stanja, optički senzori čine budućnost nadzornih sistema raznih sustava.The desire for better quality of monitoring has lead to the installation of optical technologies within various facility and ships. Transmission quality, response speed, real time monitoring, isolation interference caused by electromagnetic radiation are some of the advantagesover previous methods of monitoring systems. Fiber optic technology is still in inital stage of development, but ther previous mentioned quality lead that more and more system are installing optical sensors. Together with the remote control and control of condition optical sensors make future monitoring for various systems
