Abstract

<p>Three-month-old mice were placed on various diets and killed 8 weeks thereafter. Plasma parameters were followed as described in Methods, either in mice with free access to various cHF-based diets, or when mice were re-fed Chow (using the diet-switch protocol; see also <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0043764#pone-0043764-g001" target="_blank">Fig. 1C</a>).
