GRAN1.Tasks of the study course of higher and applied mathematics of future engineers is the formation of
a certain system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the basics of mathematical apparatus, methods of
quantitative measurement of random factors and the basic principles of mathematical statistics and optimization
methods used in the planning, organization and management of production and technological processes.
The article presents some methodological recommendations for organization research and independent work
of engineering students in the learning process of higher and applied mathematics. Determined that to enhance the
motivation and professional training for development of creative skills and strategic thinking of students required
the addition of a traditional section of mathematics topics applied to the content, methods, situational learning,
using computer technologies. The proposed scheme for solving linear programming graphic method and the
justification of extreme values of a linear form (the objective function) using dynamic geometry GRAN1
