The DNA helicase Pfh1 promotes fork merging at replication termination sites to ensure genome stability

Abstract

Related to the paper by the Zakian laboratory (this issue), this study investigates the role of the Pfh1 helicase in replication fork termination. Pfh1 is found to have a role in facilitating replication past DNA–protein barriers and also in promoting replication fork merging
